I woke up early in the morning and my thoughts went directly to the painting which I had ongoing last night. I was hell-bent on finishing it so I could present it to Nicholas before he woke up to go to the office. I turned on the table lamp which I used as a light before heading to switch on the other lights in the room.
Immediately the lights went on I noticed the mess that was made in the room and my painting was on the floor. To make it worse, my painting was torn into pieces.
Shocked, I quickly bent down to pick the torn pieces on the floor.
