Revealation

"Adele..You b***h!" Ariel yelled angrily, standing up. I realized that she was pregnant on sighting her little baby bump bulging from her fitted dress.

"What are you doing here, Adele?" Alpha Bruce asked me.

"You've been banished from coming to this place" he revealed.

"The last thing I remembered was that we got divorced. I wasn't banished and I have every rights to participate in the auction event, Alpha Bruce" I explained.

"Adele, what the hell are you doing? Leave here now!" Alpha Reyes, my former father, said.

"Alpha Reyes, you seem to have forgotten that I am no longer your daughter. You can't ask me to leave. I'm only here to buy an auctioned item"

"Adele, you shouldn't be here"

"$12 million dollars for that painting" someone said.

"The bidding still continues, $12 million dollars for the beautiful painting" the host continued.

"$15 million" I replied. No matter what, I have to get my mum's painting.

"$15 million dollars… anyone else wants to bid?"

It was quiet for a while and no one else spoke. Bruce stared at me coldly, realizing that the only reason why I came was to get back my painting. I smiled victoriously as the host was just about to announce the sales of the painting to me. Bruce suddenly stood up and yelled.

"The painting has been withdrawn from the auction" Bruce announced…

"What! That's ridiculous!" I exclaimed.

"I'm not interested in selling it anymore. I just realized that it means a lot to me" he explained, turning to me and letting out a mocking grin.

"What the hell are you doing Bruce? You know we have to sell that painting. You promised me!" Ariel cried.

Bruce gave her a stern stare while he walked towards the auction stage. "Take the painting back" he ordered.

"Alpha Bruce, you cannot return the painting. I already bought it" I tried to protest.

"Adele Reyes, there are other items here. Why don't you buy something else? The painting has been withdrawn…" he explained.

"Unless you're going to buy it for $50 million? That's the new bidding price for the painting" Bruce announced.

"Make an announcement. The bidding price for the painting starts from fifty Million dollars" he said to the host.

"Adele Reyes, I'm sure you don't have such an amount, right?" Bruce grinned.

My face flushed red in embarrassment when he said that he wasn't wrong, I didn't have such an amount on me even though I was to buy the painting, it was worth more than that price because it belonged to someone precious to me. However, I don't have fifty Million to buy it.

I clenched my fist tight on my dress, my wolf already felt angry from the whole situation. I hated Bruce more than ever, she also did. I nearly lost control, I wanted to devour him for what he's done.

"Go back home Adele. Your mission here is unsuccessful" he declared.

"I'll pay a hundred million for that painting" a husky voice suddenly declares and we all turn towards his direction. I was stunned to see who it was.

"A.. Alpha Nicholas?" I stuttered, staring at the handsome man in Black designer suit who stood by the main entrance, he glared at me, maintaining the same stoic expression he had on his face the first time we met. How wouldn't I recognize Alpha Nicholas, my mate. My heart palpitated fastly and my wolf go excited by seeing him, I shocked to see him in the auction. I thought he was at LA, Did he follow me here?

"Alpha Nicholas… you don't have to buy this painting. It's a worthless piece of trash" Bruce said, turning to him. It was obvious that he didn't want to sell it anymore. He only wanted to mock me with it.

"Why is that, Alpha Bruce? Why would you sell a piece of trash to your people?" Nicholas said with a grin.

"It's Alpha Nicholas" someone from the crowd said.

I noticed the fright on everyone's face– especially my father's.

Alpha Nicholas walked towards us slowly. The reporters were quick to give way for him to pass through. They didn't even bother to take pictures of him or continue the interrogation. I once heard that Alpha Nicholas destroyed the biggest broadcasting firm because they took photos of him in an event. He was a very powerful Alpha and was tagged as a Playboy because he didn't have a Luna or get married after being crowned for so many years.

"Answer me,. Bruce!" Nicholas demanded, his lips curved into a smile as he spoke.

I could notice Bruce's face turn cold as he watched Alpha Nicholas approach us.

"Because it isn't worth it" Bruce retorted with an awkward grimace towards me.

"But I insist, I like the painting and I'd love to buy it at twice the auction price," Nicholas revealed,

"Alpha…"

"What are you doing, Bruce?. Sell the painting to him!" Ariel spoke and I turned to her.

Soon, Nicholas appeared behind me and wrapped his hand around my waist, I tried to struggle with him.

"Get your hands off me," I said in an extremely low tone. Feeling uncomfortable by his actions.

"She demands that you let her go!" Bruce declared, speaking up for me.

"Bruce, what are you doing?" Ariel hurried up from her seat. She was immediately escorted by some guards because she was pregnant. They didn't want her to injure herself. I smiled, it was embarrassing for me to see how much they pamper my sister but act evil to me who sacrificed most for this pack.

"It's impossible for me to let go and Adele knows why!" Nicholas stated, we both exchanged glances briefly and I turned to Bruce. I didn't want him to reveal who he was and he knows why. But Nicholas seemed desperate to mock Bruce in front of everyone.

"Get the painting packed up, Alpha Bruce. You don't want to get on my bad side" he threatened coldly.

He was almost shifting as he spoke. His claws were already digging deep into my skin and his eyes gleamed crimson.

"Alpha Nicholas, I believe this is a family business and you shouldn't be getting yourself worked up over it"

"Whatever's her business, is also mine" Nicholas declared loudly.

"Why stress yourself over a woman like Adele? I could give you many she-wolves from my pack who are worthy of you. Why her?" Bruce tried to bargain with him.

"How dare you speak about my mate in that manner? Adele is worth more than a hundred of your she-wolves."

"Adele is your mate?" Bruce asked, stunned. A drop of sweat trickled down his face as he made that sentence, his eyes darted towards me and I could see the shock in his eyes as he didn't expect such revealation.
