We were all set to go to trial just two short weeks after the so called hit. With all the evidence we had on this guy I was going for the full sentence of 30 years with no time for good behavior. I had a specialist that was on tap to testify that this man was indeed a budding psychopath and that given the right opportunity he would hurt another woman or worse yet kill her. More than likely it would be the latter so that he wouldn’t get caught again. The defense team was busy trying to claim that their client was set up in all related charges to which the judge promptly threw that one out.
