Chapter 18

The men and women where there watching as I entered with my children. They seemed a little taken back but none of them said anything. Scott walked towards the group of men that where doing push ups. I looked over at the women who where running though stretches. Olivia was there also stretching. I guess this will prove to see how she trained. It was normally the Gamma's job to train the female warriors but I knew she just had a baby and he seems to really keep her busy.

“Alright let’s start our laps.” Olivia spoke as she began to jog out. I smiled knowing this was good. Most trading started like this for the women. We where agile and quick. Out power was our legs and small bodies. Men are more of the fighters. They work there strength for hard hits and power moves. Most male warriors had a female partner and they worked well together. Sometimes there are men and women who don’t fall into the category of what we think males and females do.

One of the women whom where hidden behind a few females struggled to get going. She was a heavy built women. She spotted me with a smiled. I motioned her over. She nodded carefully and jogged over. She bowed her head with a fist over her heart.

“I am Selena, Luna.” She spoke so gently. This caused me to smile as I motioned for her to follow me. She did just that as I walked up to Scott.

“Avnisha.” He smiled once he spotted me.

“Selena here will join the men.” I spoke gently to him to which he was shocked.

“Luna.” He said and I shook my head.

“She will join the men.” I spoke looking over at a few of the not so built men. I motioned them over. “I am taking these men with me.”

“Luna.” They said a little upset.

“Come you will train with the women.” I told them walking away. No one followed but all looked down ashamed. I stepped back over to them.

“We must decline Luna. This is where we are suppose to be.” One of the men spoke as the others nodded.

“I see.” I spoke gently and there faces got worried. “if you are fine with how you are then so be it. I don’t want to cause stress for you.”

“But I do love pushups.” Selena spoke gently.

“there only at 100.” Scott spoke with a half smile. She nodded happily and flopped down beside one of the guys who looked at her with discuss.

“Lap 2.” I spoke to the three guys who nodded and took off. I looked at Scott and pointed my palm up. I dropped a finger a second. When there where no fingers up we heard Olivia.

“What the hell.” I sighed as I turned to her storming over. The warriors kept running. Some of the ladies happy others unsure.

“Everything okay.” I asked gently as she stormed over.

“What the hell are you doing here.” She snapped at me.

“I was invited.” I spoke.

“This is my area of expertise I suggest you just head back to the house.” She snapped.

“And I suggest you watch your tone.” Scott growled.

“This is my field, my warriors and I will do what is needed.” Olivia snapped.

“Enough.” I spoke though Olivia didn’t back down.

“Out here you are nothing. You are just the weak Luna that has stolen the hearts of the Alpha's from me. I am there true mate. Strong and perfect.” She snapped.

“In the ring now.” I growled out as I stepped over. The women now have jogged over to see what was going down. The men got up from there pushups and crowded around the ring. Marcus, Patric and Esmeralda all stood close to Scott who was smirking at me.

“You are so going to regret this.” Olive snickered. I just yawned as I stood on my side. She charged at me but as she got close I force her face first into the dirt.

“Lesson one, never charge you opponent.” I spoke gently as I walked away from her. “You should always take a gentle back seat. Figure out your opponent.”

“You bitch.” Olivia snapped getting to her feet. She wiped the sand off her face before charging. She learnt from the first time as I tried it again but didn’t work. I dodged her punches as I let a few fall. I had to know here strength which was really weak. I gave her one hard punch in the stomach causing her to bend over.

“Know your opponent’s strength. Yes this means getting hit a time or two but always make the hits where you want them.” I told them as they all looked at me surprised. I turned my back on Olivia causing everyone to hold there breath. She jumped up and went to take a hit. I dropped and spun knocking her on her back. “Never, under any circumstances take the easy shot for it could be the deadliest shot you will take. It sometimes works on weaker opponents or ones that are caught off guard but it isn’t always like that.”

“You wont win.” Oliva spat as she shifted and jumped me. I dodged her before sending a punch to her muzzle. She whimpered as she hit the ground. I have had enough of people thinking I am the weak link. I am the Alphas mate and I am going to prove I belong there.

“I already have.” I snapped at her as she jumped at me again. I shifted and jumped at her taking her down. I jumped off her as she tried to snap at me. Our brown and white fur a blur as we hit each other. I finally got the upper hand and sank my teeth around her neck waiting for her to submit. It took a bit but she finally did.

“Mommy.” Patric cried running to me. I shifted back so he could run into my arms. I help him close as he held me.

“From here on out, Men and Women are no longer separate. We train together both in wolf and human form. 2 days wolf 2 days gym and 2 days combat. We break only for a few hours on combat day for more intense training. Women we are great for being stealthy and quick but that doesn’t mean we cant be the brute strength like men are.” I told them gently as they looked at me with pride. “We train hard and long but in the end we will be the pack everyone fears not because we are ruthless but because we are strong.”

“We follow you Luna.”

“Are Luna is so great.”

“Give me 100 push up.” Scott called causing everyone to scatter into lines and begin the push ups.

“Luna Avnisha.” A beautiful lady spoke. She outstretched her hand for me. I took it happily as she said. “My name is Penelope.”

“Just Av.” I smiled at her as she smiled back. She brought me up on everything the women where learning and what needed to be fixed. I nodded happily as they went through the warm up together before we split them for the actual training part. Penelope was a great help as she herself was a fine warrior. We fixed so many issues and began running practice spars. I wanted to see where the women where in there training. Let me tell you, Olivia may be an i***t but she didn’t do to bad with the training.

I helped Esmeralda along the way as we trained. I was difficult as most the women towered her but Marcus helped where he could. Even after practice was over he helped run over things with her. Patric helping where he could. Most if the time he was over bugging the guys with Scott who laughed about it.

I had to cut the practice short for myself as my side started to hurt. Didn’t realize her claws had actually caught skin. Well this had Scott and Markus all worried. Told them it wasn’t an issue I would just head over to the hospital. They shook there head but I encouraged Patric to come with me as the others kept training.

“Mommy is that Luna going to be okay?” Patric asked gently as we walked. I nodded to him. “You make a way better Luna mom.”

“I know babe but mommy cant keep up with everything yet.” I smiled at him. He just nodded as he kept walking. I just smiled but it turned to a frown when I saw Cameron come racing out of the hospital and to me.

“who hurt you?” He asked all worried as he came racing over.

“The only person that ever hurt Mommy.” Patric said with an eye roll.

“But she is in hospital?” Cameron said a little unsure.

“And how do you think she ended up there.” Patric exclaimed stopping with his hand on his hip. The other held mine. “My mommy kicked her butt. Serves her right for challenging my mom.”

“oh baby, remind me not to make you mad.” Cameron smirked stepping over to me. I kissed his lips gently.

“I’m don’t being the pathetic Luna in everyone’s eyes. This is my pack, the Alphas my mates and now I will stand beside them as a strong Luna.” I told him as he pushed me inside.
