Chapter Five: Karma vs Murda

2303 Words
Dynasty "Karma" Jones. ** We walked into the office, and I watched as Chance sat behind the desk. The light-skinned man stood beside Chance, and the other two men stayed by the door. "Have a seat," The light-skinned man said. I took the seat and stared at them. "Look, I'm only here to my job. I rather not be here looking at y'all." I said. "So can we please speed this up, so we can be on our way?" I asked. "Who are you?" Chance asked me. "Karma," I answered. Chance looked at the light-skinned man, and he nodded. "You're the b***h that goes after niggas and kill them, ain't it?" He asked. "No, b***h, I go after people who have harmed innocent people," I said. I watched as his eyes changed to anger. "So that explains why I am here today," I added. He frowned. "f**k you talking about?" He asked. "Well, I am here to retrieve you and bring you back to Miami with me," I said. He chuckled. "s**t, good luck with that," He said as he laughed. "Because I ain't going no damn where unless I want to. So I advise you, Ms. Lady, to go on about your business before your ass ends up in a body bag." He said. I smirked. I love a good challenge. "Challenge accepted," I said. I watched as his eyebrows furrowed. "I tried to come and do this the easy way, but I see that you're not willing to work with me. But that's okay." I added, standing up. "Y'all have a great night," I said as a new plan formed in my brain. I walked out of the office and walked out of the club. I called an uber, which came 15 minutes later. I got in and gave them the address to my next destination. | | | ** Chance "Murda" Combs. "Aye, what the f**k was that, Murda?" Crush asked as soon as Karma walked out of the office. "Man, I don't f*****g know," I said. "I wonder who sent her ass," I added. "s**t, anybody could've sent her. We have many rivalries." He said. I nodded, agreeing with him. "Get me some info on her asap," I said. Crush nodded before he got on his phone. "Ight, I gotcha," He said as he walked out of my office. Since I was in my office, I tried to get some work done. But for some odd reason, my mind went to Karma. It was something about her that intrigued me. I don't even know why because she's not my type. She's tall and skinny. I'm more of a short and thick type of man. But I dismissed all of those thoughts since she is the enemy. After failing at doing work, I decided to go on to the crib. I made sure all my safes were locked before I walked out of my office and locked the door. I walked to the entrance of the club and saw it was still packed. Many hoes were staring me down and trying to get me to notice them. I ignored them and walked on out of my club. I ain't feeling like f*****g somebody tonight. I just wanted to go home and sort s**t out. I walked to my 2019 BMW M6 and got in. I started the engine and sped to my house. Once I made it, I pulled in and waited for my security to open the gate. After he opened it, I pulled in and parked in front of the front door. I got out and walked to the door. I unlocked it and walked in. I closed the door and walked upstairs to my room. I stripped out of my clothes and went into the bathroom to take a quick shower. I got out, dried off, and wrapped the towel around my waist. Then I brushed my teeth before walking back into my room. I went and slid my boxers on before going back down the stairs. As I walked to the kitchen, I felt another presence in here with me. I grabbed my glock from behind the toaster. Then I walked around trying to find the person. "Ima count to 3. Then ima air this motherfucker out." I stated. "1..2.." I said before I got cut off. "3," Karma said, walking in front of me. This b***h got a lot of damn balls. "Are you crazy?" I asked her. "Kind of," She said before kicking my damn glock out of my hands. "Don't pull no damn gun out on me," She added. "You know what it's time that I show you that I ain't the one to be f****d with," I said, popping my knuckles. All Karma did was smirk at me. "Do you," She said calmly. I nodded before I punched her ass in her f*****g jaw. She spat out blood before she started throwing punches like crazy. I ain't even gone lie. The b***h can fight. I tackled her as to the ground and started punching her in her mouth. "You gone disrespect me, break into my house, then fight me," I said as I threw the punches. She covered her face as she blocked some of my punches. Then she flipped us over. How? I don't f*****g know. She started beating my ass then. I blocked some of the punches before I flipped us over and started banging her head against the floor. "Ow, b***h," She said before she kicked me in my nuts. "f**k!" I yelled, flipping off of her. "Ima kill yo ass," I added as she got up and wiped the blood off of her face. "Not if I kill your ugly ass first," She spat. After my nuts stopped hurting, I'm going to wring her f*****g neck. "Ight, just wait," I said. "Well, since we are waiting, let's talk," She said. "b***h, I don't wanna talk to you," I said, mugging her. "You're very disrespectful," She said, rolling her eyes. "But, anyway, I want to hear from the horse's mouth," She said. "Why did Michael Newell send me to come to get you?" She asked. I know damn well she ain't just said Michael Newell "Say that name again," I said. "Michael Newell?" She asked questionably. "I know damn well that nigga ain't send you to come to get me," I said, getting up off of the floor. She looked at me with a confused expression. "His snake ass," I added. "I'm lost," She said. Her voice was getting on my nerves. "Shut the f**k up," I said, going back upstairs to get my phone. Then I came back downstairs and walked into the living room. Then I unlocked my phone and called Crush. "Aye, my nigga, come to my house. I got some info I need to share with you." I said. "Ight, I'm near your spot anyway. I'll be there in about 5 mins." He said. "Ight, bye," I said, hanging up the phone. "Chance, I know yo ass ain't leave me in the kitchen!" Karma yelled before I heard her footsteps. A few minutes later, she appeared in the living room. She looked around before taking a seat. "Can you explain to me what's going on?" Karma asked. "First, I ain't tell you ass you could sit down," I said. Then I watched as she rolled her eyes. "Second, Mike ain't s**t but a snake," I said. Then she gave me a look to explain. "At one time, we were friends. But that changed once his brother started stealing s**t from me. His brother was stealing s**t for him. Mike wanted to take over my business." I added. She looked at me in my eyes as if she was reading me. "I am going to kill him," She gritted out. I chuckled. "He played yo ass," I said, laughing and being insensitive. "Well, looks to me like him and his brother played yo ass too," She retorted, making me stop my laughter. "That's what I thought," She added, rolling her eyes. A few seconds later, somebody walked into my front door. "Murda, where ya at, boy?" I heard Crush ask. "Living room!" I yelled back. He walked into the living room and looked at me then at Karma. "What the f**k happened to y'all faces?" He asked. "I beat his ass." "I beat her ass." We both answered at the same time. He looked between us and smirked. "So, what happened? Why is she here?" He asked me. "This damn lunatic broke into my house," I said, mugging her ass. She rolled her eyes. "How did you even get passed my damn security?" I asked. "I jumped the back fence," She admitted. "That damn fence every bit of 12 feet," Crush said. "How the f**k you did it?" He asked her. "I climbed it," She said. "How else?" She asked. He smirked. "Badass, I dig it," He said. "Man, f**k that," I said. "Let me tell you who sent this b***h to get me," I told him. "You know what, if you call me a b***h one more time, ima beat yo ass again," She told me. "f**k up," I told her before looking back at Crush. "Anyway, Mike Newell sent her," I told him. "Snake ass Mike or crazy ass Mike?" He asked. "Snake ass Mike," I said. "I know damn well you're lying," He said before he looked at Karma. He pulled out a gun and aimed it at her. "If you're going to pull it out, you better use it," She said calmly as if the gun didn't even face her. I looked at Crush, and we made eye contact before smirking. "Shorty got heart," Crush said to nobody in general. "I dig that," He added, lowering his gun. "Why did Mike send you though?" He asked. "Something about Chance killing his brother after he stole from Chance," She said. "I have let you slid multiple times with calling me by my government," I said. "You aren't my mama or anybody close to me so don't call me Chance," I added. "Okay, Chance," She said before smirking. "What the f**k di-" Crush cut me off. "We ain't got time for this s**t. We need to figure out what the hell we're going to do about Mike." Crush said. "Nigga, don't cut me off," I said. He waved me off. He better be glad he's my brother. "And I ain't doing anything. This has nothing to do with me, so ima let y'all handle it." Karma said before standing up. "It wasn't nice meeting y'all, but I apologize for messing up you all's night." She said before she walked away. "You need a ride?" Crush asked. She stopped and looked at him. "No, thank you," She said before walking out of the house. "That's a badass woman," Crush said. "You must tryna hit?" I asked, scrunching my face up in disgust. He looked at me and smirked. "Why?" He asked. "You're jealous?" He asked. "Hell nah," I lied. "She ain't my type. She's ugly." I said. He smacked his lips. "Nigga, you're lying. She might not be the typical female you f**k with, but she's far from ugly." He said. I shrugged. "I don't even look at her like that so. I hate her ass anyway." I shrugged. "Anyway, how are we going to handle this?" He asked. "I think I wanna take little Ms. Karma up on her offer and go back with her to Miami," I said. "You sure?" He asked. I nodded. "I'm positive," I said as I planned out what ima do to Juan when I see him. "You need back up?" He asked. "Nigga, hell nah. Juan ain't bout s**t with his p***y ass security." I said. He nodded. "And, you'll have Karma with you," He said as he smirked. I stale faced him. "Nigga, get the f**k," I said, making him burst out in laughter. "Ight, boy dawg. I'll f**k with you later." He said, dapping me up. "Ight, cuz. Be safe." I said. He nodded as he walked away. "Oh, and I left Karma's number on the coffee table!" He yelled before I heard the door open and close. I looked at the table to see a piece of paper. I grabbed it and typed the number into my phone. The phone rang about five times before I heard her voice. "Hello," She answered. I smirked. "Ima take you up on that offer about going back to Miami with you," I said. "That offer is gone," She said. "You're going to stay here in Chicago," She added. "Well, that ain't gone happen," I said. "Mike sent you up here to get me, so that's exactly what he gone get," I added. "No, I'll handle him," She argued. I sighed. "I've only known your ass for a few hours, and let me be the one that tells you that you're irritating as f**k," I said. She chuckled. And for some odd reason after hearing her laugh, I felt all tingly inside. What the f**k is wrong with me? "Well, I can say the same about you," She retorted. "I ain't finna do this with you tonight. I already whooped your ass." I said. "You ain't had enough?" I joked. She smacked her lips. "Chance, I'm finna hang up," She announced. "That's fine. But I'll be ready at 8:00 am." I said. "Why are you telling me this?" She asked. "Karma, stop playing with me," I said. "Ain't playing," She said. "Bye now," She added before she hung the phone up. "I know damn well she ain't hang this damn phone," I said to myself. Then I nodded to myself. I bet I go back to Miami with her.
