It really sucks. I cant stop sneezing and my voice become nasal and I guess I got cold and cought. It must be because Ryder kissed me when he was having cold and I got infected. I also heard about the flu spreading everywhere right now. It because the season and news about Asian Bird Flu is coming over.

I throw the tissue to the waste basket and hold my book file and go back walking in the hallways. It's really bothering and it's ten days to valentines day and I got flu and it sucks.

I'm still walking in the hallways then enter the choir room and throw my tissue to the wastebasket and sit down on the back row next to Blaine.

"You better stay away from me because I got flu." Blaine says to me and take his tissue paper.

"Well, I.... hatchiii....got the same thing too." I said to Blaine and take my tissue paper to cover my nose.

"Great we can have duet with sneezing and nasal voice." Blaine chuckles.

"Yeah." I nodded and sniffles.

"You okay? I'm sorry because of me you got flu." Ryder says and about to sit down next to me.

"Stop!" Blaine stop him. "Sit down on the front. We both got flu." Blaine says to Ryder.

"Alright." Ryder let out a sigh and sit down in front of me.

I cant stop sneezing and I just cover my nose with tissue paper until Finn and Ms. Pillsbury walk in and write something on the white board 'DIVA'.

"Diva." Finn says to us. "So, now that we're back in the game, we've got to come strong."

"Diva Week is all about finding your inner powerhouse." Ms. Pillsburry says to us.

"Miss Pillsbury. That's right." Finn nodded.

"The Online Urban Dictionary defines a diva as a fierce, often temperamental singer who comes correct. She is not a trick-ass ho and she does not sweat da haterz." Ms. Pillsburry says to us.

"Great, so I guess the guys are screwed this week." Jake simply said.

I wish I would avoid Ryder to kissed me that night but it was stupid because I kissed him back and now I blame him for this? This is not his fault actually.

Well, yes it was. He stayed in the bus shelter and waited for the bus until he got cold then he kissed me and I got cold and I cant join the diva week.

Oh no, I need to stop blame people. I should. This is not because of him kissing me. It's because my body isnt in a good metabolism and so that's why I got flu.

The bells rings.

I take my book file then stand up from my seat and cover my nose with tissue paper then throw the tissue to the wastebasket and walk out from the choir room.

"Hey, I'm really sorry. I shouldnt kiss you when I was having cold. It's gone from me but it turns to you." Ryder stops my way and hold my sleeves.

"It's okay. The news about Asian Bird Flu is coming over and I guess I got it too." I said to Ryder.

"Okay just kiss me again and let that cold move to me." Ryder says to me.

"No, I wont do that." I shake my head.

"I'm sorry." Ryder half-smiled at me.

"It's fine. Just stop it." I said to him and walk to my locker.

I open my locker and take my book from my locker then shut my locker and start walking to my classroom. Maybe I will drink vitamin after this and I have to perform something for the diva week.

I'm sitting down on my bed with my back against the wall and tissue paper spread on my bed. Since last night, Jake didnt wanna sleep with me so he sleep in guest down upstairs because he is afraid to get infected with my flu.

"Here, a cup of soup." Mom walks into my room and give me a cup of soup.

"Thanks, mom." I sniffles.

"You want to see the doctor, honey?" Mom asks me and take the tissue paper from my bed and put it into wastebasket.

"It will gone tomorrow." I shake my head. "Mom, there is diva week in glee club and I'm confused whose song I should sing, Beyonce, Rihanna or Alicia Keys or Toni Braxton maybe?"

"You listed black singers?" Mom chuckles.

"Yeah." I nodded. "I mean, you can see that black is the real diva and I want to prove them that I can be the next half-black diva even I'm more look like a latina." I roll my eyes.

"Yeah you are. When you were born, your father though that I cheated with latina guy but the fact I didnt." Mom smiles at me.

"Okay so what song I should sing?" I ask mom.

I let out a sigh and stand up from my bed then walk to my wardrobe. I walk to my walkin wardrobe and check out the dress rack and looking for the best dress that I should wear for the diva assignment.

And I guess I know what song I should sing for the diva assignment. My favorite song from my favorite singer. She is black and she is the diva. I will kill it.

My flu is little bit better because of the soup that my mom give me last night and today I'm ready for the diva assignment. I already pick up the song for me also the costume that I'm gonna wear for the assignment and last but not least back up singer.

5 Minutes Later

I'm standing in front of the others in choir room behind the standing microphone with five cheerios behind me for singing the backup and do our choreography. I'm wearing Beyonce's costume like in Love On Top music video, black top with black stockings, sneakers, and a cop hat.

"If I'm not mistaken, that's Beyoncé's outfit in Love on Top music video." Unique says to me.

"Yes that's right. I'm gonna prove you guys that black is the real diva. And I have my inner diva insidee because I'm black. Look at Beyoncé, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, or Toni Braxton, they are the diva and I'm gonna be the next one." I grin at them and point to the band as they start playing the music and I'm starting doing the choreography.

I killed this. I ended up my song with full of standing ovation from the others and whooping from them. They didnt know that I have my inner Beyoncé inside me but I never show it and now I just show it.

I went out from my classrom and hold my book. I feel my nose is going back to red and it doesnt feel good. I guess my cold is going back and it become worse than before and I really hate it.

I take my tissue paper and rub my nose as I'm start sneezing again. Ugh this is really bad. I killed the diva assignment but I'm going back to get cold. I open my book file and my tissue paper is empty. I let out a sigh and go back walking in the hallways as I see Blaine is also going back to get cold. I guess this diva week assignment has an anathema.

I keep walking to my locker and open my locker. I cant stop sneezing and I really feel my sore throat. It's really getting worse than yesterday just like I'm having mono but a bit better.

Suddenly someone shows me a pack of tissue paper. I turn my face and Ryder who did that and smiles at me. "Thanks, Ryder."

"You killed that diva week assignment. But your cold getting worse." Ryder says to me.

"I know that." I said and rub my nose.

"Dont rub your nose like that." Ryder push my hand away from my nose then give me a shawl around my neck.

I just looking at him as he is turn his face back to his locker. Why he is being so nice to me? He told me that he likes me and into me but I told him that I dont have feeling for him more than a friend. That's it. This is confusing.

Ryder's POV

"Dont rub your nose like that." I said to her and push her hand away from her nose and wear a shawl around her neck.

I know the reason she got cold it must be because I kissed her when I got cold and she got infected and my cold is totally gone. Jade is still cant stop sneezing and coughing. I turn my face at her and she looked pale. My fault I know that.

"Thanks for the tissue and this shawl." Jade says to me and shut her locker.

"Wait, where are you going to?" I stop her.

"Home. I'm not feeling well but thank you, Ryder." Jade says to me then sneezing.

"I'll carry you home." I said to her.

"No, you will get infected with my flu. Even Jake didnt wanna close to me or sleep with me. I can take a cab." Jade shakes her head.

"Jake is insane. I was the one who make you sick like this." I protest. "Go home with me. Come on." I take her hand and walk lead her.

Jade just walk behind me and she cant stop sneezing and cought even her voice really like drop and low. I even can feel that her hand is kinda cold. I know having cold is really bad.

"No, my mom will come home soon. You can go back home and thank you for carried me love." Jade said weakly.

"I will stay here until she went home." I said to her.

She is sweating when it's not hot here but she is also shivering. My flu wasnt that bad or I guess my metabolism was good one so it can clear cold faster.

"And maybe we can make some food. I'm hungry." Jake's voice walk in. "Dude, what are you doing in my room?"

I turn my face. Jake and Marley just walk into this room. "I carried her home because your sister's flu is getting worse." I said to Jake.

"She probably got mono or kissing dissease." Marley frowns. "You better call the doctor."

"You?" Jake raised his eyebrows at me.

"Yes I did." I roll my eyes. "Look, you better call your mom." I said to Jake.

"Jade!" Jake's mom open the door and walk downstairs then walk to her bed and place her hand on Jade's forehead. "Oh God, she got mono." Jade's mom says and walk to the bathroom.

"Mom, you're home?" Jade says weakly.

"Yes, sweetheart." Jake's mom place a face towel with warm water on her forehead then sit down on the edge of her bed.

"Dude." Jake nodges at me and give me a sign to go out from here.

I half-smiled and exhale then walk out from their room and close the door. I dont know what to say. She got mono because of me. But why I dont feel mono at all?

"You kissed her?" Jake frowns at me.

"Yes. On our first date. I came late because I took the bus to got here until I kinda have cold then we kissed. You wanna punch me or anything?" I raise my eyebrows.

"No, I'm not gonna beat you. I'm just confused, she didnt tell me anything about your date or anything. When the fact she usually told me about how she dumped a guy." Jake says to me.

"Maybe she just dont wanna tell about that." I simply said.

"Yeah maybe." Jake simply nodded.

I'm just half-smiled. Or maybe she didnt tell Jake because she doesnt know how to dump me like she dump any other guy but I guess she wont dump me since she knows I'm really into her because herself. Not because of her body or her popularity or anything. She is different for me.
