Unexpected pregnancy

A month later, Gabriella still in coma, but to doctors' surprise, when they redo some exams, they find out that besides the coma, she is still pregnant.

Even suffering, Ronaldo leaves the hospital, denying his daughter, to Soraya's joy and Marina's suffering, who is one of those extremely obedient daughters, leaves crying with her father without being able to do anything. Ronaldo had already decided to return to his hometown, he didn't think twice about leaving that city once and for all, all he wanted was to go back to the countryside with his family, which according to him was only his wife, his oldest daughter and a couple of younger children. Marina, facing this difficulty, could only think of an alternative so that her sister would not be abandoned to her own fate, she found a way to escape and go running to the orphanage where her sister was helping.

She asked to speak to Susana, one of the coordinators of the institution. Marina held her hand in despair and began to cry, Susana, still not knowing what to do, took her to her office and asked her to sit down and calm down a little, went to a water fountain and brought a glass of water. After a few minutes, with Marina calmer, Susana asks her to explain what happened, why she was in that state of panic.

Marina then begins to explain the whole situation, making a request, practically begging Susana to help her sister, she explains that she cannot stay, but, hiding from her father, she will always keep in touch and help as she can with the expenses. Before all the affection that Gabriella conquered with her gesture of solidarity with the children during the time she helped at the orphanage, it was impossible to say no to that unexpected request seeing the despair that her sister was in, Susana without delay called Lucas her friend and co-worker and after a short meeting discussing the situation, they came immediately to a solution to the question, hugged Marina visibly distressed promising to help and protect Gabriella in her absence.

— Marina, we have great affection for Gabriella, and we will not abandon her. You don't have to go away with your father if you don't want to, you have the option of staying here with us as well, I will find a place for you to stay until you get established.

— Thanks, Susana, I will never be able to thank you enough, I will see how you are going to stay there with my father. — Marina leaves that place, with a broken heart, full of uncertainties, but willing to pay whatever the price is, she was determined not to leave her sister behind, certain of staying with Gabriella.

— Dad, I know Gabriella made a mistake, we are all bound to mistakes, after all we are human beings. Forgive me for what I am about to say, if you want to leave your daughter to her fate for a mistake she made, then you will have to leave both of them, because I will not abandon my sister at this hard moment in her life.

— That's right, Dad, I love you very much, I have always done everything not to disappoint you, but I have already lost my mother, I am not leaving my sister. I am already older, and I don't need permission to stay, I packed my things, and I am going.

Soraya practically screaming, seeing that Ronaldo was unresponsive, says:

Elena, Ronaldo's deceased wife, just before she died, asked with tears in her eyes, that between her life and her baby's life, she would choose her daughter's life.

Influenced by Soraya, even suffering, he let Marina go. After his daughter's departure, it didn't take long for him to also travel in order to expedite the move back to the interior, still with a bleeding heart, he continues and says he will only return when everything is organized and the truck is ready to pick up the furniture.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, the doctors took a difficult decision, with Gabriella still in a coma, they saw no alternative but to terminate the pregnancy, because she had not the slightest condition to carry on with the pregnancy. They were preparing the procedures to be done and once again to everyone's surprise, just when they were starting the procedure, Gabriella wakes up from coma, saving the life of her baby, there was no need to discontinue her pregnancy, since she was finally reacting.

The doctors and nurses who discovered the love story between the couple, began to feel a special affection for her, there was only one detail that would make her life a little more difficult, she woke up from the coma, but could not remember her own name, due to the strong blows, she completely lost her memory, she knew nothing about her life before the accident, she would have to start again from scratch. Luckily, she had friends who loved her very much and also new friends that she made even while she was unconscious, not to mention other people who were touched by her story and wanted to help. In the meantime, Eduardo's struggle for life continued. Besides still being in a coma, he had a very serious injury to his cervical spine.

As she reaches the door, she notices her taking the phone, curious to see her reaction when she looks at the content of the device, Susana stays a little outside with the door ajar. When she saw the tears that came down from her eyes looking fixed on the mobile phone screen, she could not contain her emotion and began to cry together, entering again, caressing her face asking.

— No need, it was nothing. It was just a different sensation, a strange feeling, when I saw those photos and couldn't remember anything, for a moment I felt an enormous despair in my heart, I can't explain, the tears don't obey me, I see that boy, they fall even without remembering who he is.

— Calm, my daughter, you will remember everything, you are not alone, we are with you, my dear, you will certainly come out of this, now you don't remember, but when you were helping us at the institution and something very difficult happened, this boy in the photo, who is a very dear friend, would tell us. — Susana holds his hand.

— Calm down, people, when everything is very good, be suspicious, because at any moment it can get bad, but when everything is very bad, stay calm and don't despair, when it's too bad it's because it's very close to getting better.

— His name is Eduardo. And so it is, my dear, we are all bound to go through difficult times, but we cannot stop believing in life, in our dreams, and especially in love! Gaby, look at me, you will win, a beautiful future full of happiness awaits you. — Susana, who had long ago gone through an experience similar to that which Gabriella was living, wanted to show that even without strength we cannot give up. Susana had the misfortune of losing her husband and one of her two children in an accident, and lived alone with her eldest surviving son, Victor.
