The Eveners and the Odders tribe have been rivals for a while. And although the two tribes never see eye to eye, The Eveners believed they were more righteous and that the Odders were evil and the Odders believed the eveners were a fake lying a deceitful tribe.

Desiree and Ramon would set out to break stereotypes and prove that their love is in-fact divine, and that their people could eventually coexist and live like they once did, but it only bridges more gaps between them and intensifies their enmity.

The Boarder
"Who’s there?” Ramon asked, hearing an unusual chirp behind the bushes where he was in the woods. He thought he was alone, then why? “Show yourself! "Don’t make me do something I regret”, he demanded, scared. “I can see your shadow, you better come out now!” Ramon yelled again, breathing heavily. From behind the bushes slowly came a young lady, slightly younger than he was. She was gorgeous. Her lips were plum and red, her hair was exceptionally curly, and the sun rays against her brown skin gave her a glow that was, safe to say, out-worldly as she came onto the scene. Astonished by her charm, Ramon couldn’t say anything for a minute, but then he was finally able to talk again, he asked in defense, “Who are you and what are you doing here?” “I could ask you the same thing”, the girl replied. “So you speak?” Ramon asked. “Show me your palms!” Ramon demanded as he wanted to identify her. “I’m not doing that,” the girl replied. “You’re a tough one, aren’t you?” Ramon said, still looking at her terrified. “I guess I am,” she replied proudly. At this point, they both suspected that they were from different communities, “rival communities” and needed to be sure and safe. “If you don’t show me your palms this time, I’m making you show me”, Ramon ordered. “And how do you plan on doing that, Mister?” The girl teased. “Like this,” Ramon said. He dropped the bag he was holding, raised his arms up, closed his eyes, and breathed in and out. He held that pose for about five seconds. The girl, however, wasn’t impressed. She found what he was doing super hilarious and really irritating. “So is that all?” the girl said, mocking Ramon, since she didn’t see anything happen. All of a sudden, she couldn’t control her body anymore, as if her limbs were not hers. She eventually found herself showing her palms, and that was when Ramon spotted her “Odder mark”. “You’re an odder! "I knew it”, Ramon said in shock, as his suspicions were right. “Why are you out here?” Ramon asked her demanding for an answer . “Let me go,” She demanded. Ramon immediately ceased his grip on her, letting her go. He then asked her again, “Talk now, who are you? "And what are you doing out here, are you some spy?” Ramon asked. “I’ll have you know that I’m not a spy, and also these woods are not yours, so you have no right to ask me why I’m here,” she replied. “I’ll take you an Evener?” She asked, but Ramon didn’t answer. She walked around him strangely, and he was lost in her gaze, and as their eyes locked slowly, Ramon couldn’t feel anything; all he could hear was his surroundings; she had him where she wanted him. “What-what are you doing?” Ramon asked her. “Just looking for your Evener's mark” She replied. “There I found it!” She said, raising his right hand and pointing to his palms. “You are an evener, which means I can do this” She continued. “Do what?” Ramon asked. “This!” She said as she raised her hands a little posing like she was about to fight and with her powers, she knocked Ramon out, leaving him flung over by a tree. “Now we're even, and we're nowhere on the same page, I could never be as snoopy as you eveners” She concluded as she turned back and began to walk away. In pain, Ramon stood up and yelled, “Wait!” as he wanted to know who she was. “What’s your name?” He asked her. “You want to know my name, you Evener wretch” She responded. “Well fine, it’s not like I’ll be seeing you ever again,” She said, smiling. “It’s Desiree, my good fellow, my friends call me Desi, but you’re neither my friend, and you’re worse than my enemy, so just forget I said anything,” She said bowing playfully trying to imitate a princess or something. “Desiree? I didn’t know Odder's had nice names, given you’re all evil and self-centered,” Ramon said, still in pain and struggling to speak out. She had knocked him down real good. “Says the evener guy who took control of my limbs without asking for consent,” Desiree said. “I’m sorry about that,” Ramon said. “Don’t be, I enjoyed kicking your a*s too” Desiree replied. “And goodbye, I’m getting late,” She said. “Wait!” Ramon uttered again. Still on the floor, adjusting himself for comfort, he asked her. “Don’t you want to know my name?” He said. “I’m good,” Desiree said and continued to walk away. Ramon stood, walked up a little bit and yelled, “It’s Ramon!” “And my friends call me, well they still call me Ramon, and I don’t mind if you find a nickname for me,” Ramon said. Desiree stopped and then turned back. She was going to say something to Ramon, but suddenly locked eyes with him, and she forgot everything she was going to say. “Were you going to say something?” Ramon asked. “What?” Desiree asked, confused, she was still in her head. She was only just noticing him now. With his Hazel eyes and jawline, accompanied by his huge arms and tall physique, Desiree was lost staring at him. “Hey, are you okay?” Ramon asked. “I’m fine!” Desiree answered in anger and without hesitation and fled the scene, this time not looking back. Ramon tried calling her, but she didn’t answer. She just ran away, he didn’t know the cause of her sudden change in mood, but he was sure he liked her. Mostly because he had never been taken down by anybody before, and most especially not by a girl. The next day, Ramon arrived in the woods, hoping he’d meet Desiree. He waited for a few hours, checked all the squares and corners hoping to spot her, but she wasn’t there. He had begun to think meeting Desiree was just a dream he had. Likewise, he eventually got tired and went back home. He snuck into his room through the window, hoping no one saw him, but as soon as he got inside, he saw his friend Idris sitting on the bed waiting for him. “Busted!” Idris yelled. “Keep it down,” Ramon warned. “Tell me where are you coming from?” Idris asked. “It’s none of your business”, Ramon warned. “Is that so okay?” Idris commented. He then looked at Ramon’s shoulders and noticed it was covered in dirt and red moss. Red moss only grew in the borders, and that was where Ramon had been looking for Desiree. “Were you at the borders?” Idris asked curiously. “What! "No”, Ramon refused. “Then how did you get red moss all over your jacket?” Idris asked. “It was from the outhouse at the ridge…” Ramon tried to lie, but couldn’t find words to put together. “Fine, I was at the borders today”, he confessed. “But why, you know we’re not allowed there, you could meet someone dangerous, those lands are not secured,” Idris said. He also kept going on and on about what could have happened to Ramon at the borders. Eventually, Ramon stopped him and said, “I did meet someone at the border,” Ramon said. “A girl,” he continued. “We met yesterday and I went back to see if she’d come back, but unfortunately, she didn't,” Ramon concluded. “Wow, bro! "I’m proud of you, you should have led with that”, Idris responded. “I like this new you, breaking the rules, getting funky for a girl”, Idris continued. “So tell me, what is she like? Is she pretty?” Idris asked in excitement. Ramon, however, quickly realized he was going to be speaking about something every evener swore never to mention. He stood up and shut the doors and windows, sat closer to his friend, and said to him, “Idris, there’s something I have to tell you, but you must promise never to mention this to anybody at any cost,” Ramon said. Idris’s excitement lessened as to the tone of Ramon’s voice and his actions. of closing the doors and windows. He was curious to know what Ramon wanted to tell him and asked, “What’s the Issue?” with face looking curious as hell.
