Meeting him

*Stormy's POV*

I woke up to black nothingness, darkness engulfed my entire body. Everywhere around me as I sat up was pitch black. "Hello," I called out. "Hello," once again. Nothing but the echos of my voice reaching back at me. This heaviness of the darkness made me shiver as I stood up. "Where am I," I thought to myself. "The last thing I remember is being in a closet, a man breaking in, and him pounding my head into the floor...am I dead,?" This is what happens to us after we die. In total darkness, I began to cry not tears of sadness but joy. I am free from them. I can never be hurt again. Just as the flow of happiness hit me, then the shocking realization hit. Lola and Max are still out there. Are they hurt, Did they escape? I began to worry and then started to walk. "Hello," I cried out, "Hello. Is anyone out there? Please, I need help. I need to know if Lola and Max are ok." I began running. I didn't know where to go, so I just kept running straight. This darkness must have an ending. I ran fast, making my legs hurt. "Slow down there, little one. Please settle down. Those who you are searching for are ok, safe, and nearby," a soft, gentle voice called out. I stopped in my tracks and looked around. "Hello, who are you?" I called out. I looked around yet, but I still saw darkness. "My child, it is I Serenity, yet others may call me by many names. You must listen. Your body isn't doing so well. Those who care for you are in another room waiting for the doctors to tell them how things are going. You have not died yet." said Serenity. "Wait, you're the Goddess, of our kind? Why can't I see you, wait, you say I'm not dead, yet where am I," so many questions flew through my mouth. "Stormy, I'm sorry for what you have been through, but right now, you must make a choice. Rather, you can let the darkness consume you and enter the fields of dreams, or you can walk into the light (just then a bright light opened up like a door). If you choose the light, you will wake up where you are now and live the life you make of it from here on out. Or do you die and never feel pain, suffering, sadness, loneliness ever again? You must choose now?" Serenity said. The thoughts of going back to the life I had where I suffered made the light door feel so much better. Yet Lola and Max would be left alone and sad. "I chose the Light," I said as I closed my eyes. "Very well, my little one, we will meet again. Until then, please enjoy the life you chose and know that I placed a gift upon you in my apologies for what you suffered. Only when you truly desire life will this gift be activated. I know you are in pain now, but allow yourself to love again. Goodbye, my sweet child, until we meet again," Serenity said softly as her voice faded away. I opened my eyes and began to walk towards the light. From the darkness, the light engulfed me. *Beep...Beep...Beep* The sounds of a machine filled my ears. "We got a heartbeat, go ahead and place the oxygen on her. I will notify the family immediately. She has a strong heartbeat now. Stitch up the head and make sure we leave no scars. He won't be too happy if he finds out she is left with scars," I could hear one voice say. Yet the fading of noise left me, and I soon went to sleep.

I awoke to a dark room," It's night-time?" I thought to myself as my eyes adjusted around the room. There in the corner of my room, I could somewhat make out a figure and what looked like they were asleep on a loveseat. I began looking around and noticed the wires in my arms. I followed them up to the machines they were hooked up to. I could see a bag of I.V. and a bag of blood dripping back into me. I groan from the pain and blink my eyes trying to focus. I begin to sit up as I hear a soft hefty voice speak to me "Lie still, little wolf." His voice sent shivers down my spine and the hairs on my arms began to stand up as goosebumps appeared on the skin. I looked into his eyes and there looked back at me a set of beautiful hazel eyes. His hair was buzzed on the sides but down the middle was long, black, and tied off in the back. It was a temple shave hairstyle. He had a very manly bone structure and a very thick neck with muscles that bulged making his shirt seem tight. He wore pants that had a black belt wrapped around his very thin yet muscular waist. I could hear him chuckle as my eyes shifted back to his. He must have caught me observing him which made me blush. "Who are you, and where is Lola and Max?" I said in a stern yet worried voice. He stood up and began walking to me. I shifted back worried that this man would do something to me. "Don't worry little wolf I will not hurt you, Max and Lola are at home cleaning up before they come and take you. You must lie down and rest. you have stitches in the back of your head where the....," he paused as if he was looking for the next words to say like struggling to say. I could see the anger building up in him his eyes went big and black, and for some reason, I reached out and slightly touched the top of his hand. He instantly looked at me and I watched his eyes go back to the beautiful hazel color. He had a gentle smile on him. Yet once I realized where my hand was I released it off of him. Causing him to have displeasure on his face. "Thank you, I understand what you are telling me, but who are you," I said. " My name is Chance Ulf, I am Alpha of Moonstone Pack," Chance said. My eyes widened and in an instant, I bowed my head. which caused him to take his hand and lift my chin. "Little wolf, please do not bow in your state. I need to know why and how you came to be here," he questioned and I nodded. I dared not gaze at him as I talked about what happened to me. "My name is Stormy, I was from the Redstone pack. My mother died and my father remarried and they have a daughter together. Their daughter became head of the house causing me to work under her," with the flow of my words I began to look up at him. As the next words flew out of my mouth I could see hurt in his eyes. "I found my mate....with my sister and was made to watch them make love. Causing me to have pain. Once my mate finished he broke our mate bond but then our family came in and saw what happened. My sister spoke first causing all the eyes to turn to me and hatred flowed through them. I then was...I gulped...I was shunned by the pack. I felt each bond break causing more pain. Yet I was kicked out before I could break my bond with my mate. Once I was able to get far from the pack all the wounds from the abuse I had gotten finally took effect, and I passed out here. Lola and Max found me and brought me to the pack hospital and I was taken care of. I'm so sorry for crossing over your pack and causing trouble again. It's all my fault y'all were attacked." There was silence and yet I could feel the anger radiating off his body. I glanced up at him and didn't see anger in his eyes. He was hurt, I felt pain and in an instant, I was embraced in a hug by the Alpha. " Alpha, why are you hugging me" I said in a startled voice? He stared at me and yet I felt not scared but calm. "Forgive me little wolf, I'm sorry for my impulse reaction. I am sorry you went through so much. You are welcome to stay in this pack and ordered to be protected by the pack. Once we can get you fully healed you can officially join the pack. So please rest I will return soon," he said as he stood up and walked away. I was speechless yet as his presence left I felt lonely again. So I played back down and drifted off to sleep.
