My ears immediately started to ring. They were ringing from the metal grinding against the pavement but the sound of gunfire was agitating and deafening. So not only was my vision blurring, going in and out but now my hearing was slowly starting to fade.
I had lost track of Gabriel completely. I couldn't feel him anywhere near me and my eyes were frantically trying to look out of the broken back window.
