BLOOD WOLF: VOLUME ONE

Chapter Thirteen

As they stepped into Hanson's office Bella became increasingly nervous. She had no idea what to expect. There were three men and two women waiting for them. Hanson immediately began the introductions "Everyone this is my mate Isabella Donavon." Then gesturing to Joey he said "Bella you've already met my beta Joey and his mate Heather." Then he introduced the others saying "This is my gama Brandon Marshall and his mate Shayna. As well as my cousin Randall."

Bella smiled telling them it was nice to meet them. After which Hanson got straight to the business at hand. "Alright, so I called you all in here because there is something you need to know before the meeting. Bella would you like to tell them or should I."

Bella looked very nervous. She was not sure if they should know at all. Realistically she knew they needed to know but it didn't make it any less scary for her. Biting her lip she spoke saying "I will tell them just give me a second. On second thought is there a larger area we can speak at? They will probably need to see us for themselves." Hanson nodded and led the way to his private garden.

As they stood there everyone wondered what was happening. Why was Bella so nervous and what was so different about her? Finally Bella said "We are not an ordinary wolf. We are the Bloodwolf." Everyone except for Hanson and herself laughed. Then it became deathly silent as they realized she wasn't joking. Bella sighed adding "This is why we wanted to talk out here." Joey laughed again saying "Just because your wolf is red doesn't mean you're a bloodwolf."

Hanson looked at Joey with the most serious looked he had ever given him. As he said "Just watch." Bella began to remove her clothes while Hanson blocked her from the others view. He looked into her eyes with such love seeing the worry in them. He linked her saying 'It's okay. If they try to hurt you Samson and I will kill them.' Bella nodded before beginning to shift. At which point Hanson stepped out of the way.

They all gasped at the sight of an eight foot tall blood red wolf with glowing blue eyes. Joey and Brandon shoved their mates behind them. While Randall took a step forward smiling widely. He said "You all told me I was crazy. I told you the Bloodwolf was real." Then he asked "Can I touch her?"

Xavia cuffed at him before lying down so he could rub her back. Hanson let out a growl saying "That's enough Randall." When Randall came to close to her hind end. Randall took a step back still smiling as he exclaimed "Coolist thing ever!" Everyone else relaxed when they saw that Xavia hadn't moved from her position.

Hanson looked at them saying "She is not going to hurt any of you. The myth is a lie. Though she is deadly, she does not attack without cause." After a few moments they began to shift back at which point Hanson took his button down shirt off and handed it to her. Then he said "We need to tell the pack. I just wanted you all to know first so that you were prepared." They all nodded before saying thank you.

They were standing in the field surrounded by their pack as Hanson informed them "This is my mate and your Luna. Her name is Isabella Donavon. I expect you all to treat her with the respect she is entitled too. Now there is something I need you all to know because I do not keep secrets from you. Before she tells you know that you have the right to leave if you want. I will not be angry and will help you find another pack should you choose." Everyone became silent unsure of what was going on. As Bella stepped forward saying "We are not an ordinary wolf. We are an elder wolf known as The Bloodwolf." Everyone began to laugh thinking it was a joke. So again she began removing her clothes as Hanson asked everyone to give her some space. Then she shifted and all hell broke loose. People were yelling and cursing. While some, especially the children, were crying.

Xavia laid down whimpering like a puppy as Hanson along with Joey and Brandon tried to calm everyone down. He had expected a reaction however not such an extreme one. Nor did he expect them to want her dead. Suddenly, Xavia stood up turned and began running for the woods. They had to get out of there. At least Bella did. She couldn't stay there.

Hanson turned yelling for her to wait. It was no use she wasn't going to stop. So, he ordered Joey, Brandon, and Randall to follow him as he chased her down. Knowing full well they probably wouldn't catch her until she stopped.
