feeling loved

on a confusion state

she had the answers

but she wants to deny it

in her mind

in her heart.

she still loves aki.

but from a hundred percent

goes down and down to one.

they were inseparable

but now, she feels like aki isn't capable

of loving her back.

he is confused, and so she is feeling used.

meg is about to give up. but she keeps on trying.

everything has changed.

changed into a point that she cannot control.

"please come tonight, i have a surprise for you.." said aki

"a surprise? it isnt my birthday, whats going on?" confused meg

"just come. ill fetch you. then stay for the night."

"are you sure, i thought you don't want me staying there anymore."

"you dont want my surprise?"

"i do.. but it depends. you know i hate surprises."

"ahmm okay."

"ill fetch you. same place, bye" then aki hung up.

"you know, i liked aki before, but he didnt treat me right." as reny opens the fridge. "here take some water." hands it to meg.

meg stood up and pulls reny towards the dining room.

"he might hear us.." meg whispered

"no, no i dont care. or maybe if he hears us then ...what? haha"

"does his brother know?"

"yeah, i told him. i dont hide any secret and its fine with him." points at akis brother sleeping in the couch.

"do you still have feelings for him?"

"nooo way.. hahah it was just a crush... haha. i was just 14 that time."

"you said he has a girlfriend that brings him food? until now?"

"uhmm im not sure. what i know is that they broke up last year. but i still see her bring him some food. maybe wanted to be back with him.. im pretty sure they are still texting each other." reny explained

meg became silent. shocked.

it was last year when he met aki... online.

he told her that he was single. but he never told her that he just had a break up with someone. tho her clothes are still here. and she even wears it whenever she stays for the night.

"was its just his way of reminiscing his ex girlfriend whenever i wear her clothes?" "was it her that he was thinking whenever we make love, or he was just using me to feel his ex girlfriends presence?""was it her who brought the food last time?" "do they still sleep together " she thought.

"reny, is that the girl at the bar that you are talking about?"

"no, that one is just their regular guest. his brother told me he isnt serious about that girl. they said that girl has a family..."

"really? but she called her baby.."

"i can call anyone baby too. hahah" "nah im kidding, its the one who came with us last sunday. i know theyre exes but im not sure whats the current status"

"so thats why he was very cold to me these past few months."

"if i were you, look for someone better gurl... maybe john..haha"

"hmm, im not sure what to believe, he was sweet and he cared for me a lot.."

"but you said that was beforeeee.. hmm its up to you gurl if you would believe me or not, maybe know where you stand. and maaaaybe after this night, you might want to ask him." reny advised.

aki calling on her cellphone

thinking twice if she will pick it up.

missed call

"why arent you picking up. im already here."

meg looks outside the window, saw his car parked in front of her house.

"wait for 5 mins, im almost done." replied.

feeling lazy to come, feeling uneasy but she wanted to see him again.

she was curious about his surprise.

she gets off her bed, tied her hair and just put a lipstick on.

she was not really prepared.

gets out of the house and locks the door.

"hey, sorry 'bout that.."

"why not answer my calls, have you been chatting with someone?" said aki

"no i wasn't, are you putting up a fight? i just used the bathroom."

"hmmm if you say so!" starts up his car

"why are you so hot tempered, is that your surprise?"

"no.." and he kept silent

"then what is it?"

"its a surprise, why would i tell you."

meg feels weird, she was excited to know whats his surprise but she keeps on remembering that he is still seeing his ex girlfriend.

she wanted to confirm

but she doesnt want to ruin his moment.

the two arrived at his house.

he went down the car and rushed inside

before meg could enter the room

she saw aki

playing the guitar, singing

she stopped, smiled and sat down. she continued to listen.

she was feeling butterflies in her stomach

she was thrilled.

until the last strum of his guitar

meg claps, and she was happy and proud of him.

her heart melted.

it was a song she wrote but couldnt finish

"i finished it! did you like it" said aki

"it was amazing... i loved it!" feeling loved again that aki finished her song for her.

she hugs her tight

but aki resisted. still holding the guitar and continued to strum just random chords.

"when did you finish it? it was great.. really."

"then you will have to buy me a drink..hahah"

"hmm, ok sure." pulls up her wallet. "here, buy some."

"lets go.. come with me at the store. then choose what you want."

the two walked outside the house

meg was smiling at him but he tries not to look at her.

they were joking around and were laughing together

he was telling her how it was hard for him to finish it for he was not inspired

that caught up megs attention

"is he already inspired, by me...or by someone else?" she thought.

but she doesnt want to end that moment. they were happy again.

"you know i also have 3 more songs that i was writing but that one is really special," said meg

"i know, but its heartbreaking."

"yea at first, but if you could think more about the lyrics, its like a girl who wanted to be back on theyre lovers arms again. and be with each other forever." meg explained hinting it was her feelings for him that was written.

"okayyy.. but thanks to me its done" and he laughed

they head back to his place, with bag of chips and 4 sticks of barbecue. their favorite.

"this barbeque is the best, and 2 is not enough for me ..im gonna buy more."

"oh me too buy me another" as the two were done with 2 each.

"ill be back... you sure just two more? haha ill buy 4 more hahah" he said laughing

they were enjoying the moment.

aki left his phone...

and meg was curious.

it wasnt locked

she picks it up.

and there she saw his newly uploaded video singing their song.

"i made this song just for you.. specially for you, i missed you and i love you." with emoji hearts captioned on his upload

it was tagged

but not her name.

she was surprised.

it was her song

meant for another person.

his ex - girlfriend

his.... girlfriend.

she was shattered.

tears was building up on her eyes

and she was really disappointed.

she puts his phone back immediately to where it was.

as if nothing happened

as if she saw nothing

she cant believe it.

she wanted to cry.

she wanted to leave the house.

but

she was still in denial.

she contained her self for he will comeback anytime soon.

deep inside she was really hurt.

and he was inspired to finish it

but not because of her....

it was her song

but turned out to be

for her.
