The hurt

The higher councile listens to her story. Hunnican is the first to speak: "I remember waking up to the sound of Angels voice saying a prayer: "Dear Moon goodess. I ask you for the strenght of every magical beings around me to help me keep them safe from harm and for them to live a long happy life". That´s when I felt my strenght leaving me as I told the Goddess to give it to her. It was like the Moon goddess heard my answer and gave it to Angel. I don´t regret giving her my power one bit. She saved us no doubt about that!"

"We know that she saved not only you guys but many more that day. That´s why we want her to get the power of every singel magical creatures. We want you to have them all so that you can protect everyone you meet!" The lead Elf tells them. Kim looks a bit shocked by his reasons for being there with the higher Councile. "But you have to ask for the powers just like that day in order for us to give it to you!" the lady tells them. Kim looks at each and eveyone of the councile with wide eyes. She nods silently. She takes a shaky step towards the councile. She stops and takes a deep beath before moving on. She now stands before the councile. Everyone holds their beath as she stands in front of the Higher Councile. 

"Higher Councile, I ask for you to grant me the powers of every singel magical creatures there exist on this planet in order to protect them and keep them safe!" Kim speaks with a powerful voice. She bows her head in respect fo the Higher Councile. Every singel member of the councile walks up to her, put their hands on her shoulders and they wisper in her ear: "I grant you the power giving to me by the Moon Goodess in order for you to protect and serve every magical creatures!" Every singel time she lights up and shakes a bit as they give her their powers. 

Paige looks a bit woried when seing her daughter shake like that. She still remembers that day when they got that phone call every parent fears. That she had been injured and that the doctors didn´t know if she would make it or not. They had huried to be by her side, just to be met by her team. They had watched over her every singel day every minute until she came around. She still remembers how nervous the team was when she had woken up and to see her face when she saw them. Paige felt a tear falling down her cheek. Her husband notices it and dries it away with his thumb as his hand holds her cheek. He kisses her on the forehead. She signs and hugs him. He holds her close.

After the ceremony the councile disappears as fast as they came. The Silver Lake Pack returns to somewhat normal every day activities. It´s late so everyone starts to return to their homes and beds. Kims family has been giving small houses on the land near Kims cottage. Kim walks home alone. She has a lot on her mind so she doesn´t notice that Lilly is following her. Kim gets a mindlink from Wyatt: "You have a tiny stalker!" Kim smiles. She knows what he means. She turns the corner of the cottage and turns to catch Lilly as she comes around the corner. Lilly giggles as Kim lifts her up over her shoulders and starts to walk and jump towards the home of Wyatt. Wyatt meets her on the trail near the lake. Lilly still laughing when Kim puts her down, jumps to her fathers arms. Wyatt shakes his head: "Why did you leave the house like that? You scared your mother and your little bother!" He tells her firmly. Lilly looks down with a sad face. "I just wanted to say goodnight to Angel!" she says sobbing. "Next time let me know and I will give her a call in stead, okay?" Kim smiles and pats Lillys back. They nods to one another as Wyatt turns to take Lilly home. 

Kim signs and sits by the lake. She enjoys the silence and the only sound is the lake. She sits there for a while. Hunnican comes around the trail towards the lake. He finds Kim sitting on the banks near the lake. He knows all to well that she has a lot on her mind. Being her confident he knew very well what goes on in her head. He notice that Matt is standing by a tree looking at her. Maybe it is the right time to tell this guy how badly he hurt her in the past? Hunnican thinks to himself. He walks up to where Kim is sitting. He sits next to her. They sit silently.

"You know you have to tell Matt that you know what he did right?" Hunnican says after a while. She looks at him with tears in her eyes. She nods slowly. And they return to being silent again. Matt standing behind a tree listening to their conversation. Hearing this his eyes is wide with horror as he realize that Kim knows. That´s why she felt her heart being broken that day. That day he had told Jasmin his girlfriend at the time that he loved her. He had looked everywhere for her, for Kim and when he couldn´t find her he took a girlfriend. Someone he had known since childhood. They were together for 3 years until she found her mate. Matt didn´t want to stay in her way of being happy so he let her go with his blessing. He didn´t know that Kim would feel the betraye half across the world. His heart sinks. Kim looks up and spots him as he tuns to leave. She runs to him and graps his arm. She forces him to turn and look at her. He looks down and doesn´t want to face her. Not right now anyway. She kisses him on his lips. He looks at her surprised and she leans into him and gives him another kiss. This time he puts his arms aound her tight.
