CHAPTER SEVEN

JAMES WESTON

I stood in front of her and watched as she lowered her head in fear.

"You are my mate?", I spat out in pure distaste.

"Good morning, Alpha James", she said, her mouth quavering.

"My morning has been spoilt by you already so what's the use of your greetings?".

"It's not my fault that I was mated to you because I didn't ask the moon goddess to so, don't put the blame on me. If you're looking for who to blame, go meet the moon goddess and blame her for not mating you with the love on your life", she snapped and I stared at her in amazement and bursted into laughter.

"Are you crazy? How dare you talk to your Alpha with disrespect?", Charles yelled at her and she snapped her head at him, giving him deadly glares.

"Just because you're his mate doesn't give you any right to disrespect him because you're still an omega", he continued, not affected by her glares.

"And just because Diana is an omega doesn't give you any right to reject her, Beta Charles", she retorted, putting emphasis on the word ' Beta Charles '. Charles went forward, wanting to attack her and I stopped him.

"Leave her alone, Charles", I commanded and looked at her deeply.

"See you later, mate", I said to her and left to the pack house.

SYDNEY GOLD

I watched as Alpha James walked away from our gathering and Gold sighed in my head.

' That was f*****g intense ', Gold commented and I snorted inwardly.

"Omegas can't fit with high ranked officials", Charles spat out to both with a smirk and left. Fred looked at us with a sad smile and ran after him. Now, we were left with Sam.

She looked at me, eyeing me from my head to my toe with a scorn and she bursted into laughter.

"so, you're my competitor?", she asked, still amused and I wondered what was funny.

"I'm not competing with you, Delta Samantha especially not for the Luna's position. I have no interest in becoming a Luna in a pack where I've been an omega", I admitted truthfully.

"So, you want us to get married to the same man?". I couldn't answer her question because it was also confusing to me. I didn't want the Alpha to reject me because I wasn't ready to bear the pain of rejection. I also didn't want to become the Luna of this pack. I didn't know how to answer her question.

"We'll take our leave now, Delta", we both bowed and left her standing there

I entered my room and Diana followed me. I knew I was in for another set of questions when she dragged me to the bed.

"So, what are you gonna do now? We all know that Delta Samantha won't accept for Alpha James to leave her alone and go for you", she stated.

"I'll accept whatever comes my way as my fate. What ever it will be, I have a feeling that it will not be good", I smiled sadly at my pathetic self and laid down on my bed.

"You want to sleep?", she asked in surprise and I groaned in frustration.

"Won't I sleep anymore? At least I'm doing nothing here", I said and yawned tiredly.

"Close my door when you're leaving", I said and drifted to sleep.

SAMANTHA COLLINS

' We'll take our leave now, Delta '.

That voice kept replaying in my head. I kept clenching and unclenching my fists, my eyes turning black in anger. How could the moon goddess be so mean to mate James with Sydney? I was so mad that we weren't mate and I was still recovering from it just to find out that James and Sydney were mates. No matter what happens, I wasn't going to let her have James and the position.

"Delta Samantha", u heard someone call and I turned back to look for who was calling my name. The moment I saw him, my anger deepened, my eyes turned completely black and I let out a low growl.

"What do you want, Casper?", I growled louder as he came nearer to me.

"I heard that the Alpha found his mate".

"And do you expect me to come back to you?".

"I won't even accept you even if you do because I don't want to spend the rest of my life with a lady who has given her everything to another guy".

"What? How dare you dis .............", I tried to reprimand him but he cut me off.

"I know you rejected me but that don't destroy another lady's life because of a position. I don't want you ruining another's girl future", he pleaded.

"Look here, Casper, like you said, I've rejected you already so you have no right to tell me what to do. And in case you've forgotten, you're just a pack member so know your place and mind your business.", I snapped and left.

I marched to the park house and went to James's room. Casper's word got my face to redden and I was really going to show him that he couldn't control me. My wolf was still angry at me for rejecting our mate but it wasn't entirely my fault. My thirst for the Luna's position and pack's respect was time blame.

I was so glad that Sydney was James's mate and not a strong wolf because she was going to be very easy to defeat so I wasn't scared of anything.

I finally got to James's room and opened the door.

"Hey babe", he looked up from what he was doing and I entered inside his room, closing the door.

"I want you to do me a favour, James", I said, smiling softly and mischievously.

"Anything for you", he replied sweetly and I cooed inwardly.

"I want you to inform all pack members, there will be a sparr tomorrow. I'm going to duel with Sydney Gold, a fight till last breath", I announced and Charles and Fred turned to look at me, the trio's eyes widened in surprise and I smirked devilishly.
