*Riley POV*
As soon as Maddix walked out of the store we were in, I was approached by 2 men who were acting like I was their next meal. The vulgar things that spewed from their mouths made my skin crawl. The taller of the two decided it was alright for him to come inside my personal space, and I told him to back off. I was trying to enjoy the day with my mate, and these guys were quickly ruining it. I knew he was on the phone with an important phone call, so I didn't link him. I tried to get the attention of our guards, but they were focused on their Alpha.
I guess they assumed, because I was inside the store, and they were in the doorway, I was safe. I wasn't about to let these punks see they had me nervous, so I held my composure and did the best I could to keep them from touching me.
