I woke up much earlier than Riley, and I thought it would be nice to bring her breakfast in bed. I slipped out of bed, and she stirred a little at the loss of heat, but bundled herself up in the blanket. I quickly dressed and went downstairs to the kitchen to grab an array of different things for us to eat. Millie, our new pack chef, teased me as I took a little bit of different breads and a lot of everything else. I wasn't sure what my wife would be hungry for, but I wanted to make sure she had her heart's desire.
