Party Time AKA meeting the family

Becky's POV....

We had arrived at Daniels penthouse in London, driving past staring at the city life was amazing Bella's eyes were hooked from the back seat. She kept pointing and shouting "Look mummy, look how tall they are !!" I was astonished when I learnt that we had arrived, we got out the car and our jaws hit the floor instantly this was one of the tallest buildings in London or it seemed to be. 

Daniel brought us out of our little trance and asked if we wanted to go inside I grabbed mine and Bella's bags while Daniel picked Bella up. We made our way into the building greeted the doorman and into the lift we went, even the lift was luxurious it had windows so we could see the city landscape. Before I realised it we had stopped on what seemed to be the top floor, we made our way out and Daniel unlocked his door multi-tasking whilst still holding Bella. 

Once we stepped inside I was in aw it was stunning the décor totally matched Daniel simple yet sophisticated but what I felt was missing was that it didn't seem very homely. Daniel said that there were two guest rooms so both Bella and I could have our own space if we wanted I asked her whether she wanted to sleep with me but she was excited to have a big double bed all to herself. She grabbed her bag and followed Daniel to her bedroom for the next couple of nights. 

She settled in just nicely and when I found my room I was taken back with how beautiful the view was I could see everything. I sat at the end of the bed just admiring the view and didn't realise that Daniel was now sitting next to me. When I finally did notice him I just leant my head on his shoulder again, being near him offered me so much comfort I felt safe whenever I was with him. We had grown so close over this small time knowing each other he was literally my best friend but I couldn't help but feel like I wanted more.

 What I least expected him to say was what he said in that moment, "Becky I really like you" I was shocked he felt the same way as I did. I replied with a smile on my face, "I really like you too". He looked happy with my response and kissed my forehead. That small gesture meant so much to me, he had no idea just how much I appreciated him. We stayed where we were for a couple more minutes then we decided to have dinner and watch a film with Bella.

 Bella wanted pizza and Daniel couldn't resist her little puppy dog eyes so gave in. The three of us sat cuddled up on the sofa watching Bella's favourite film Cinderella, as she began to drift off Daniel pulled us both closer. After the film I got Bella ready for bed after I did that Daniel came in to give her a hug but before he could leave she held onto him and gave him a book to read to her. I loved seeing there close bond, if mine and Daniel's relationship was to go further it warmed her heart knowing that Bella would be loved and cared for by someone other than me.

 After she fell asleep we tiptoed out to have a cup on Hot chocolate on the balcony, Daniel grabbed a blanket on the way out whilst I carried the mugs. We sat down staring at the London night sky all cosy snuggled up. I decided that now was the perfect moment to kiss him so I did. 

Daniel's POV... 

Becky and I had stepped out onto the balcony to snuggle up and drink hot chocolate under one of my many fluffy blankets. We sat staring at the London night sky all cosy snuggled up, it felt so good having her close to me. I was taken back when she kissed me but I soon regained control of myself and kissed her back. It was magical, she was magical I came to really care not only for her but also Bella too. 

In such a short amount of time we became each others support system, I know she didn't have many people only David and Amanda and I hoped that she saw me as someone she could rely on now when things get tough. We stared at each other as we broke from the kiss but soon leaned in again. We then sat in a comfortable silence her having her back leaning against my chest sitting between my legs. I rested my head on her shoulder to show her that I was there and ready to protect her. 

Becky soon began to drift on making cute little snoring noises. I carried her towards the guest room and luckily she was already in her Pyjamas so I tucked her in and kissed her forehead. I then retreated to my room to get my head down, tomorrow was going to be a busy long day but I couldn't wait to introduce Bella and Becky to my family. 

03:30 AM....

I was woken up by screaming coming from the guest bedroom that Becky was sleeping in. I leapt out of bed and rushed straight for her. I could hear sobbing and screaming through the door as I approached it, I barged in not wasting any time at all. I made it to Becky kneeling beside her, I tried to calm her down and get her to stop crying and wake up eventually I did and got her into my arms silently sobbing. 

I laid down beside her still holding her letting her know that I was here. Eventually she cried herself to sleep, a couple of minutes later I heard the door creak open and Bella walked in whilst rubbing her eyes looking dazed. I patted the bed and told her to climb on up. She followed my instruction and slid in between Becky and I. 

The Next Morning 

Becky's POV...

I look down at my arms and saw that Bella was between both myself and Daniel they were both still sleeping peacefully, it felt so good to be in Daniel's arms I felt so safe and Bella obviously enjoyed his arms too. I carefully pealed myself from the bed and went to make a start on breakfast I was so carried away with the pancakes that I didn't feel Daniel wrap his arms around my waist. He told me that he was excited to introduce me to his family but I didn't want to tell him that I was beyond nervous. 

Soon Bella woke up and joined us for breakfast. We spent the rest of the day watching cartoons and playing board games until it was time to get ready for the party. Once Bella was in her dress I pulled  her hair into a ponytail and placed her matching bow at the centre, then it was my turn but I was having trouble with the zip so had to ask Daniel for his help. I curled my hair and wore my trainer as I needed to be comfortable whilst my other foot was still in the cast. I grabbed my crutches and bag and made my way out of the bedroom. Daniel gasped, I wasn't sure if it was a bad gasp or not but I was soon made aware that it was good when he strode towards me and smashed my lips against his.

 We made our way down to his car and soon embarked on our journey to Daniel's sister's house. I had heard so much about her and her husband Jason as well as their twin boys. I couldn't wait to meet them, but what I was unsure about was whether or not I was meeting his parents or not. I decided to ask, " Daniel are your parents going to be there tonight?" He took a deep breath and said "yes sorry I forgot to mention it". I suddenly began to become very unsettled I was so nervous this was such a big step meeting the family. We had arrived in no time at all I didn't think I was ready to vacate the car until I felt Bella tugging on my arm. I slowly slid out and Daniel help me stand with my crutches, we made our way slowly towards the front door and rang the door bell.

 My nervousness was radiating off of me, suddenly the massive door creaked open and there stood a female version of Daniel who I assumed was Scarlet. "Daniel you are here, and you brought company.." she beamed. Bella smiled and waved at her as Scarlet welcomed us inside. Someone else then approached the door shook hands with Daniel. "Hey Jason how are you how are the boys" Daniel asked. "I am good thanks mate the boys are well boys I guess" he chuckled. 

Then another man rushed over, a younger version of Daniel who I guessed was Nathan who was joined with a pregnant lady who I assumed was Lottie his wife. Then the whole rooms atmosphere changed when they saw Bella and I holding on to Daniel's hand. I then heard the sound of high heels making there way towards us, I was now beyond being on edge. 

"Daniel baby you finally arrived oh and you brought people with you, who's this little cutie" she asked as she bent down to greet Bella. "Hey mum this is Becky my girlfriend Becky's daughter". He just called me his girlfriend what !!!
