I leave the office, feeling a sense of relief wash over me. It's been a long day, and I'm looking forward to heading back to the main house and eating dinner with Chloe.
The warm sunshine greets me as I walk out to the parking lot, and the sound of birds chirping fills the air. I take a deep breath, feeling the tension in my body begin to ease.
I get into my car and start the engine, feeling the rumble of the motor beneath me. I put the car in gear and pull out of the parking lot, heading towards the main house.
As I drive, I think about the forth coming meeting with Drex and his pack. I'm still not sure what to make of their situation, but I'm determined to do what's best for our pack.
