Chapter Three, My Story,

1856 Words
Alpha Leo's POV, I am Alpha Mafia Leo, a brother of triplets. We rule the Bloodmoon Pack and control all of the south and west side borders. We are one of the largest, strongest, and most feared packs; we don't take s**t from anyone. Sitting in my office with my two brothers, Alpha Logan and Alpha Asher, as well as Beta Nathan and Gamma Sean, we were just going over a few loose ends regarding our attack on the Crescent Moon Pack, led by Alpha Rich and his son, Alpha Shane. Alpha Rich killed our parents just under a year ago, and we swore to get our revenge by burning that bastard and his pack to the ground. All of our men were in place. We left my office, making our way over. Normally, we wouldn't be in the fight, but this was personal, and one we would end by our hands. Arriving at the Crescent Moon pack, I met with head warrior Tony and top shooter Richard. "Is everyone ready?" I asked. "Yes, Alpha. We have the pack surrounded," said Richard. Sending out a massive mind link to all our warriors, I commanded, "Let's roll out!" Gunshots rang out, hitting everywhere, and patrol bombs exploded in the grass and trees. Warriors came out of nowhere. I noticed there was no sight of Alpha Rich or Alpha Shane; the cowards were hiding. "Alpha Rich, if you want to save your pathetic pack, you better show your face!" I yelled as loud as I could, making the trees sway. More warriors from the Crescent Moon pack kept coming, so I decided to show them who the big boss was and the mistake they had made by coming against me. As the fire was spreading, the crescent moon warriors were dying out. I caught a whiff of a unique smell. I turned my head to look in the direction of the scent and spotted two people running towards the forest. I lowered my gun to make my way over when I heard footsteps coming from behind me. As I turned and shifted into my wolf, I came up behind the two warriors. I shifted back and, with Beta Nathan's help, snapped their necks. Watching them drop to the floor, I noticed the girl turn around while the guy dropped to his knees, letting out a howl. Oops, I killed his parents. Shifting into my wolf, I made my way over to where the two people stood. Her smell was getting stronger and stronger, and my wolf started smiling. "What is it, my wolf Miller?" "Mate" was all he said as he went to the back of my mind, showing me rude pictures of my mate and what she would be like naked. Getting closer, I shifted back into my human self along with my brother when we all said together, "Mate." I saw how the girl's face went from being brave to being scared. We may be monsters, but we wouldn't hurt our mate no matter what or who she is. "You are coming with us, or your boyfriend dies," I stated, letting her know not to mess with me. When her friend, or whatever he is, tried to stop her, I wanted to put a bullet through his skull right then and there, but I couldn't, so I punched him, letting him off lightly. "Are you the alpha's daughter?" "Yes." I knew we couldn't leave her behind; that bastard alpha Rich would kill her just to get to us, thinking it would make us weaker. Well, the bastard can try the next one. As she agreed to come with us, she asked if she could say goodbye to her friend, whom I now know as John the wanker. Walking away to leave them behind, I couldn't help but listen, and it made me curious about what my mate had been through. I also noticed that she couldn't walk straight or use her arms properly, which had my blood boiling. I will find out what happened to her. Getting in the car and leaving the Crescent Moon pack, I was happy with the results. All of their warriors are dead; granted, children and women were killed and hurt, but that couldn't be helped. Driving along the motorway, I noticed my mate was very quiet. I decided to play a question game with her and see if she would open up. "Zoe, right?" I said, looking at her through my mirror. "Yes." "You seem to be in pain," I said, hoping she would be honest. "A little," she replied, fidgeting. "Look, if you're trying to use me to get to my father, it won't work. I'm the bastard child; he doesn't care about me." I was shocked that an alpha didn't care about his daughter. I had never known that; my parents loved my little sister, Emily, before she travelled the world. "We aren't going to harm you, but we couldn't leave you. You're our mate, and you might not feel it now, but you will. Nothing bad will happen to you; we will look after you. You're our Luna, and we won't be rejecting you, but I can sense you're hurting," said Logan. "I'm just in a little pain before the war. Let's just say I had quite a beating from my father, but I don't want to talk about it at all." "That's fine, just note that we are ready to listen when you're ready to talk. Now, I can tell you're still a pure virgin, but did that boy touch you in any way? You are covered in his scent," sneered Asher. "That boy is my best friend, my only friend, and he saved my life more than once. If it weren't for him, I would be dead. Also, what pack are we going to?" Now I smiled; she finally asked the question I've been waiting for. "The Bloodmoon Pack," I happily told her. I noticed her fear was starting to disappear. "My name is Beta Nathan; it's good to meet you, Luna Zoe." "I'm not the Luna yet," replied my sweet mate. My wolf was jumping around in my head like he had won some juicy bone. "Will I be allowed to attend college?" my love asked. "Of course you can! As I said, you're our mate, and we will not keep you as a prisoner," I stated. "We will sort your college out and take you for new clothes. We will also introduce you to the pack and make you a member, but you need to cut ties with your father and his pack." "I, Zoe Walker, reject Alpha Rich as my alpha. I leave the Crescent Moon Pack and become a rogue. I cut all ties with Alpha Shane and the Crescent Moon Pack altogether." "Didn't you and your family get along?" asked Logan. I watched my mate tense; it was then that I knew for sure that bastard alpha was hurting his daughter. "Not really," was all she said. I looked to Logan, sending him a mind link. "We need to lay off with the questions. Give her more time, and she will see she can trust us." "It's hard, bro. My wolf wants her father dead; I can see the marks on the back of her neck." "I know, bro, but we don't want her to reject us. She's also not just a wolf; there's more to her," I said as I cut the link off. I noticed my mate was wearing a gold chain, and I knew it was meant to restrict the power of witches. I've seen them before, but why would my mate have one? "She's a hybrid—half witch, half wolf, half vamp—but her vamp side doesn't talk; they remain in darkness and coldness. We must make sure our mate doesn't go down that path," said my wolf. It all made sense: her father hated anyone who wasn't a pure wolf. But how is she a hybrid? I'm so confused that I need answers. "Beta Nathan, find me everything on Zoe, her family, and her bloodline," I said through Mindlink. "Yes, Alpha. Is there a problem?" "No problem; I just need information. I need answers. The chain on her neck is a giveaway," I said as I cut the link off, pulling up to our pack house. "Alpha, we have been attacked on the South Island. We need you now," said top warrior Tony through the mind link. "Beta Nathan, take Zoe inside. We must attend the safe house." "You are not leaving me here when I don't even know anyone! I'm coming with you, and you're not stopping me. Please let me come," said Zoe. I looked at my brothers and saw they were in doubt too, but she had a point; we couldn't just leave her here when she didn't even know her way around. "Let's go, get in," I said as we piled back into the cars, with our men following behind. Speeding off to our safe location, Asher got on the phone. "Have a boat ready for us; we will be there in 10." "Where are we going? I don't do boats," my sweet mate said, worried. "My love, it's a little island on the south coast, and the boat ride is only minutes. Nothing bad will happen." Arriving at the harbour, we got out of our car, made our way over to the boat, got on, and sped off to the location of our safe house. Arriving near the safehouse, I could see the flames from the destroyed burning building. Zoe was the first on the boat with Edward's help. I saw how she froze. Within a few seconds, she turned the chain off from around her neck, dropping it to the floor. "I summoned the water from around the island to twist in a vortex to carry all around. I summoned the water to banish the fire, taking it away and leaving it damp. I give the water the courage to pass on by." As Zoe was chanting, the water around us circled, the wind picked up, and the trees were blowing. The water extinguished the fire, leaving nothing but a destroyed building. I watched as we all looked at Zoe with our eyes wide and our mouths open. Edward came over to us. "Alphas, it was Alpha Rich. He said you have something belonging to him, and he wants it back." "You're hurt," said Zoe. "Trust me, I can help heal you. I give you my blood to heal your wound, to take away the pain, and to make you whole again soon." Edward's arm was healing with an orange colour. I knew our mate was strong and powerful; I knew not to question the moon goddess. I will be sure to thank her. "Who would do all this?" my love asked. I looked at my brothers, and even they knew we didn't lie. "It was your father," I told her the truth; I wasn't going to lie. Her father was evil, and she knows it too.
