Waiting for things in anticipation made Oona really uneasy. Morning has passed, and she still hasn’t had any news from Opal, and she hasn’t come back yet. She just stood in the kitchen with the ingredients for the dish she ought to cook left untouched on the kitchen counter. “Oona, sweetheart. Do you want me to get some takeout since it's only the two of us?” Alfonse asked his wife as he stepped into the kitchen. Oona hasn’t started cooking lunch yet.
