"Raven baby it's time to wake up . " I groan , "Do I have too ? We just went to sleep"

Alpha Ellis chuckles and it's the sweetest sound I have ever heard . How can a man with his reputation be so loving and sweet toward me?

"Yes we have to love , the sun Is rising , it's time to say good bye to your family , I promise to let you sleep in the car on the way home ."

Home ,the word sends a rush of excitement yet sadness though me . This has been my home for the last 18 years and now I have a new home . In less then 24 hours my whole life has changed. Yesterday I was just Raven , daughter of the Alphas and today I am Luna of the largest pack in North America.

I reluctantly crawl out of bed and throw my long hair into two french braids I put on a simple tee shirt and leggings Jameson had laid out for me . The rest of my belongings were already packed away and being hauled down stairs to the line of dark suvs waiting.

Packs always bring extra vehicles to things like a mate ball so that there will be room if need be for the new mated couples .

I look around my room one last time , before grabbing Jamison's large hand and telling him I am ready to go .

" Your parents and siblings are waiting for you down stairs , they would like to send you off ."

" Okay , let's go see them ," I smiled at how thoughtful my mate is . The rest of the world gets Brutal unforgiving Alpha Ellis , and I get this sweet man that already cherished me as his mate after just one night .

we walk down the grand stair case and see a crowd of people waiting for us . To my surprise Becca is up and ready to go hooked arm and arm with Tucker . If I had to guess he was responsible for having her up and ready on time . I am beyond happy that my best friend will be coming with us to the blue moon lake pack. We have been attached to the hip our whole lives. My mom and dad are waiting to each send me off . It isn't often they get along but the fact that they are here together warms my heart .

I know they have always agreed on one thing and that was that I belong with an Alpha. I hate to admit it but , they were right I couldn't imagine anyone else besides Jameson as my mate .

My dad just gives me a long hug and kisses my forehead " Remember our conversation last night dear , listen to your gut and congratulations on your mark he laughs"

" Thanks dad I laugh back . " My dad may be one to hold grudges but he also cares deeply for his children and his pack .

" Alpha Ellis I expect nothing but what we discussed in my office when it comes to my daughter's safety . ' my dad says to Jameson

" Alpha Richards , you have my word "

My mom gives us both a hug and kisses me on the forehead.

" Oh my dear daughter I knew the day would come that you would realize your father and I were right. I wish you many years of happiness with your mate , cherish him because you never know what tomorrow will bring ." Tears well in her eyes a mixture of sending her only daughter off and the heartache of her mate's death pulling her heart strings ."

" I will momma , I promise . I love you please don't cry" I say while wiping her tears away .

" Don't worry big sis we will take care of her " , my older younger brother says. " I know you will brother" I say to him as I give him a lung crushing hug. " Make me proud , I expected to see you running the pack fiercely in the next few years . "

With our goodbyes all said , the four of us walk out side to see the rest of the pack waiting for us . Jameson grabs my hand and lifts it into the air with his . cheers erupt from his pack and my parents pack members .

" We will formally introduce your new Luna , once we arrive home to the rest of our pack. For now everyone please be seated in your vehicles and enjoy the ride home. For those of you whom have found your mate here , I wish nothing but happiness, and for those of you whom have found a mate in my pack I want to say welcome to our pack , our family . "

Jameson and I rode in the back seat of one of the suvs closer to the front . While Tuck and Becca were in the front seats .

" Boss you never let me drive , are you sure you trust me with your mate " Tucker jokes .

" Tuck you know if anything happens to her because of your reckless driving you won't live to see tomorrow " Jameson jokes back .

Becca is asleep before we even leave the compound . " How in the world did you get her awake that early? " I ask Tuck .

" Well Luna , that's an easy answer , I didn't let her sleep " Tucker says slyly .

Jameson and I laugh as Becca begins too lightly snore . I let out my own yawn and Jameson wraps his huge arms around me . "Sleep now love , we have a few hours before we reach the pack territory , I have a feeling it will be a long and exciting day . "

I lay my head onto his chest and before I know it I feel my eye lids beginning to get heavy . Jameson is trailing his fingers down the small of my back " Thank you , for showing me already that I can be happy with an Alpha." I say before drifting off to sleep .

Jameson's POV

This beautiful girl has no idea what I would go through to keep her safe. The sun is coming up so I know we have no worries about the vampires today , but something else is nagging me . I need to know who this Alpha was that recruited the Vampires in the first place , and that stupid human boy. Will he let it be or will he somehow find himself on the wrong end of my furry?

" Boss relax , I know your playing though the what if's I can read your face ya know. We will take it day by day. Luna is as safe as she can be with you , with our pack ."

Damn it Tucker always knows when to be a jokester and when to be the support I need. Having him as a best friend and a Beta is a blessing and a curse sometimes .

" yeah , your right Tuck. Lets just get home "

the rest of the car ride Tucker and I talked about politics , accomodations for the newly mates wolves returning with us , and the Luna ceremony while our mates sleep.

The trip only takes about 3 hours normally , but I decided to take the long way around . So that if We were being trailed we would be able to loose who ever was trailing us .

It took a Total for four hours to get home the long way but I felt confident that we were not followed . Just as we were about to pull onto the dirt road that leads to my pack territory , Raven's brown eyes open .

Raven's pov:

Sleeping in Jameson's arms was almost as comfortable as being in a king size bed . I can't explain the peace his touch brings me .

I felt the pavement turn into a dirt road and opened my eyes to see the most beautiful green luscious forest .

" Good morning , beautiful " Jameson said with a smile .

" Jameson where are we going on a dirt road ?"

" This is the road to our territory , We are deep in the forest , due to the amount of wolves in my pack , this gives us more freedom for our wolves to run . "

" Oh , that makes sense "

Just as I was enjoying the smells and sights of the forest though the long winding dirt road a large wall came into view with a steel gate that was beging to raise to allow us entry . A few cottages set out side the wall scattered in random spots but the true beauty of the pack lay inside . The pack was set up almost like a town , there were cottages inside the wall , shops , bakery's , but in the middle was a lake and the pack house . The pack house was huge , double the size of my father's. It was an old victorian style castle .

" You live in a freaking castle ?"

" No darling we live in a castle " Jameson laughed.

" My great great Great grand father had this built when he and my grand mother traveled here from England. He wanted my grandmother to feel at home . It has been completely remodeled and updated . The first floor is open to the pack . It contains a dining area , recreational space , and indoor pool. the second floor is the suites of some of our warriors , and their families . We have a few empty for visitors . Myself ,the Beta , and my office are all on the third floor . most of our pack live in their own homes through out the territory. "

" It is beautiful " Becca chimes in.

I hadn't even realized that she was awake yet .

As we arrive closer to the pack house I realize that hundreds of people have gathered on the grounds awaiting the arrival of the Alpha and the rest of the pack who attended my ball .

As car doors begin to open , the newly mated wolves are greeted by the family's they now have . Tucker leaves his seat and opens Becca's door . They walk hand in had toward what I assume are Tuckers parents . Jameson grabs my hand and ask if I am ready . " As I'll ever be " I reply. This makes him laugh

Jameson steps out of the car first and before I know it a raven haired girl has him wrapped in her arms .

" Alpha , I am so glad you are home! What do you say we have a private meeting while these mates get aquatinted to their new lives " she says in a whiny voice . Jameson is trying to push her away , Ava is pissed. " GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF HIM ! " I growl . Her eyes widen in shock , "Jamison who is that ?"

" Kayla , I have told you it's Alpha Ellis , this is my Mate Raven , your Luna . I suggest you do as she says and release your grip on me . " Jameson says to the girl coldly .

Kayla let's go of my mate and offers her apologies . I can tell they are half harted and pure bullshit . She walks away sulking.

" Jameson would you like to explain what the hell that was just now "

" Remember , I told you I have slept with other women , unfortunately kayla is one of those . It happened years ago and for some reason she attempts to throw herself at me anytime she can . "

" If she touches you like that again I will break her hards" I growl

" I am yours mate , you have nothing to worry about " Jameson says as he kisses my forehead .

An older women approaches us . " Oh Son , is this her . Is this your mate? please tell me you have finally found her . "

" Yes momma , this is Raven Richards and she is my mate . "

" Richards as in the blood moon pack?"

" Yes , mam I am Raven Richards , daughter of Alpha Richards and Luna Bailey" I answer .

" Oh how the tables have turned , it's about time our packs found peace , welcome to my family dear . I hope my son is treating you well. My name is Crystal , but you can just call me mom if you wish . "

" It is nice to meet you , mam . And your son is

treating me beyond well ."

Jameson gives his mother a quick kiss on the head and lets her know that he would like the pack to gather in the conference room for a pack meeting at noon. She assured him that she will take care of it and have lunch prepared .

Jameson ushers us to the pack house . It's beautiful outside with it's old yet elegant exterior. Insides the walls are tall with beautiful ceilings , but the rest of the house castle has been updated with modern fixture's. the large recreational room has a huge 80 inch flat screen with a huge cream colored u shaped sectional. the accent pillows are a deep red Two pool tables with the same color red felt are also in the recreational room . Some wolves are hanging out in there when we walk past . I can feel their stairs and even see one of the she-wolves mouth drop open as Jameson leads me toward the stairs by my hand .

once we reach the third floor Jameson stops out side his door and picks me up . " I believe it's tradition to carry the bide across the threshold " he jokes .

He carries me inside our suite , straight to his bed room . A huge king size bed sits in the middle of the room , a black canopy is accompanied by a black comforter and black pillows . Jameson waste no time and places me half on his bed . he rips the leggings and my underwear from my lower half almost in one motion, and begins circling my already swollen c**t with his tongue.

"Absolute not !" Jameson all but growled ." Place him in a cell , I will take care of this , No one is to speak to the boy , but he is to be guarded at all times "

"Yes sir" the guard says before disappearing .

"Jameson , what was that about" I call to him from the bed room.

" It seem that your past has followed you home dear " he growls . As he returns in nothing but the bed clothes .

"Rylan is here ? "

" He is demanding to speak with you ."

I see the darkness swirling in his eyes .

Why , how could he know where I was ?

" We will deal with it later , I think we are in the middle of something. " Jameson says in a husky voice.

Jameson grabs my face and kisses me with more then just lust , I can taste the jealousy and passion on his lips .

I sent one of our omegas shopping as soon as I could, besides I own half of the business in the neighboring cities , the perks of becoming Alpha to one of the largest packs was also the inheritance of the family businesses . I want you to feel at home here , and the best way I knew to do that was to welcome you home with a stocked closet. "

I knew that the blue lake pack was loaded but it never crossed my mind that I would be mated to one of the richest Alphas in tis part of the world. I make a mental note to thank Becca for helping Jameson .

" Now pick our something nice for our pack meeting and meet me in the shower " he said as I watched him walk toward the bathroom connected to our bedroom.

I don't think I will ever get used to that view. Jameson is a huge man even for a wolf . He has light brown curly hair that is just long enough to show the slight curl. His eyes are ocean blue and his muscular tattooed body stands at almost 7 feet . Standing next to him makes me look like a child in a sense . His tattoos are intricate tribal that spread from his jawline down his torso and arms to his back ,laid on the most beautiful tanned skin . Everything about this man is beautiful to me.

I quicky pick a nice olive dress that lays nicely against my skin tone and flats. I follow jameson into the huge two person shower and he begins to wash my hair just as he did last night .

It doesn't take long until we are on round two of steamy s*x . This time tho it's quick .

After our shower we dress and I throw on a natural make up look with the products Jameson has had stocked for me in our bathroom. I blow dry my hair and allow my natural curls to flow down my back . My dress is tight fitting hugging my curves . It stops just below the knee and has little cleavage. It is a simple and elegant look . Jameson is dressed in a tight black tee-shirt and jeans that hug him perfectly.

" Later little wolf , I can smell your arousal from here . We will have plenty of private time after the meeting" Jameson says huskily.

I giggle ," sorry I can't help my self , " Jameson smiles and grabs my hand . " No need to be sorry babe , as much as I would love to stay in this room all day we have a meeting to attend "

We walk hand and hand to the conference room The hall ways are all but empty . Everyone is attending the pack meeting except those who are on gaurd duty and the mother of pups too young to attend .

The chatter in the room ceases when Jameson leads me through the huge oak doors . All eyes are on me and I blush . " It's okay love , they are curious about my mate , their new Luna , they will love you " I hear Jameson's voice though the mind link we now share as mates . I can not link with the rest of the pack just yet. I need to have a proper Luna ceremony before I am able to communicate with them the way Jameson can . " Thank you , I never was one to enjoy being the center of attention , I guess I better get use to it seeing as how I will become the Luna of the largest pack in North america soon " I say back though our mind link .

I can hear the whispers as we walk past the crowd to the front of the room.

" Wow she's beautiful"

" I can't believe he's finally found his mate "

" I bet kayla is pissed. "

That one sends fire though me , I hate this girl for having touched my mate , I can only assume this is what Jameson feels at the mention of Rylan's name . Crap I forgot we still have to deal with that

Lost in thought I hadn't realized that we had reached the front of the room. Jameson leads me up on the stage and clears his throat . The room goes silent .

"Thank you all for coming on such short notice. As most of you know , many of the unmated pack members accompanied me to the mate ball on Alpha Richards territory over the weekend. I want to say first and foremost congratulations to the members of our pack whom have found their mate . It is a gift from the moon goddess to experience a bond so pure. I want to welcome those who have returned with your mated to be a part of the Blue lake moon pack with open arms . There will be information posted with job openings for the new members in the next few days. Until then please feel free to make yourself at home . The first floor of the pack house is open to all wolves in this pack. There you will find a 24 hour dining area , the recreation center and the indoor pool . However I have a feeling these first few day will be spent in the privacy of your homes ." The crowed erupts with laughter . " On a more serious note I want to let the families of those whom have found mates in the Blood moon pack know that Alpha Richards and I Have come to terms on a treaty . Our packs are no longer in a feud , those who have family that have stayed behind with their mates at the blood moon pack will be able to visit freely ."

I can see the relief that washes over the faces of many of the friends and family of the wolves who have recently joined into my father's pack.

" I know you have probably heard the rumors about Raven the beautiful girl standing next to me. As always pack news travels fast. I have been blessed to have not only ended a decades long feud, but to have gained a mate along the way. Raven Is my goddess given mate and therefore she will become your luna in the next few weeks. " Again the crowd erupts in cheers and claps .

Jameson waits for the room to settle . " Raven is the daughter of Alpha Richards and Luna Bailey for those who have not heard of her heritage before now. Unfortunately because of her pure Alpha blood line , it has been brought to my attention that she is in danger . An Alpha of unknown name has hired vampires to aide in capturing her to become his chosen mate" Jameson says barley controlling his anger.

" I am increasing security around the forests and the compound until further notice , I want each and everyone of you to be on high alert and to report any suspicious activity. No one runs at night alone until farther notice . Vampires are no match for our wolves when it's a fair fight , but we all know vamps never play fair .

The room is silent , and I can see the worry washed over the pack . " Jameson , can I say something ?" I ask through our mind link .

" Of course Luna" , he jokes back .

I step up and begin my speech.

" Thank you all for welcoming me here today . I want to apologize for the inconveniences my being here may have caused . I want to let each and everyone of you know that I will do my part in keeping this pack safe from what ever dangers are after me , I will die before I allow my mate bond with your alpha to be broken. The moon goddess has blessed me by allowing me to find my fated mate and I will cherish that bond for a lifetime. I am humbled by the kindness and generosity that you have shown me already. I hope to meet you all and establish my own relationship in the pack soon . It is true that I am the daughter of Alpha Richards and I know that many of you, especially in the older population have heard rumors of my father's dislike of this pack , I want to assure you that although I will always be humble of my roots , my obligation now lies here with each of you and the wellbeing of this pack. I hope that the new found peace established will bring our packs together as allies. I hope that I will rise to the expectations and beyond you set for me."

The crowd shows thier approval of my speech .

Jameson address a few more concerns from pack board members. The meeting ends with Jameson inviting the pack to join the feast prepared by the kitchen staff to welcome the new members of the pack , myself included.

Jameson's pov :

I knew the pack would be upset with the new security regulations, but I also knew that the joy of seeing me find my mate would over ride their frustrations. I wasn't expecting Raven to make her own speech but she surprised me and stepped into the role of Luna right away. I shouldn't be surprised it is in her blood , she is a natural born leader . Seeing her connect with our pack today only reassured me that she's perfect for me . She is truly a gift from the goddess. This girl has no ideal the affect she has on me already . She looked stunning In the olive green dress she choose and power radiated from her during her speech. Axel wanted to take her right there infront of everyone , I had to fight him back . To be fair it's in our nature once we find our mates to want to mate them as many times as possible. Especially for an Alpha , the need to leave our scent on her and to claim her as ours even with our mark established is our primal instinct.
