How dare that inconsiderate boy come to my home expecting to win Raven back . I swear to the moon goddess had she not asked me to refrain from killing him , he would be as good as dead . I have done my best to show her who I am under the brutal Alpha armour. I have a temper that I will admit , but she does something to me that turns me soft . I am going over what had just played out in my head when I hear her sweet voice .

I had been so worked up I hadn't realized that I was dragging her with a death grip on her hand .

Ravens pov :

It is nice to hang out with Becca and Tucker . It feels like old times before the drama if the last 24 hours . I tell Becca about Rylan showing up and how he's been in contact with the vampires . How they knew where we were and told him how to get here . She agrees that it's strange that they would send a human into wolf territory. I tell her about the rouges and how I think they are linked to the Alpha that hired the vampires in the first place .

I wish you would listen to me every once in a while , I think that the safest place you can be is here with Alpha Ellis . I don't think they were counting on you finding your mate last night . Against my better judgement I typed the address Jake sent into my phone and ended up at what looks like an abandoned ware house .

Jake lets me go and I stubble backwards " Your telling me that Raven is a werewolf , and that she is part of some pack like cult and some women in the sky decided her fate and who she could love , not only that but freaking vampires are real too ? " I stutter.

"Something like that",Jake replies .

"So then tell me what do I have to do with this ? She chose that Jameson guy . She made her choice what do you want from me ", I ask the two men who I now know could probably kill me and eat me or something .

The big guy speaks up . " My boss wants to over throw the Alpha of Blue lake moon pack . He needs to eliminate the mate bond between Luna Raven and Alpha Ellis . We need your help human . Apparently you have held a spot in her heart and that makes you the only weakness we have against her at this time . Their bond makes Alpha Ellis stronger and it will be impossible to over throw him with the girl by his side ."

"But she doesn't want me , she made that clear , besides from what I read they have marked each other , so doesn't that mean their bond is unbreakable?" I ask .

"Stupid boy , no bond is unbreakable. Yes the mate bond is strong but the human side of the girl once felt something for you , if you can reenforce that side of her it is possible to break their bond" , The man says

" How the hell do you want me to do that , Jameson had made it clear that if I return there he will kill me on sight and now that I know what he is I don't doubt it one bit " I replied

If you want your girlfriend back then you need to contact Kayla , she will help you hatch a plan to work together to drive a wedge between the two new mates . I have already sent her number to you ." For some reason my head felt fuzzy and did exactly as he said I walked straight to my car and began to drive toward home. I felt like I was in a daze. My thoughts were muddled and I couldn't make sense of what was happening or why I did exactly what the vampire said .

Once I reach my apartment I texted the number I was given for this Kayla girl .

R: Hey , is this Kayla ?

K: Yes , is this Rylan ?

R: Um yeah ? I am supposed to contact you about a plan.

K: I am still working on it but stand by and once I figure something out , I will be in contact.

R: Okay sounds good .

But did it really sound good ? Part of me wanted Raven back , I knew that this mate thing was forced now . I knew that part of her was just following what instinct told her . The other part of me never wanted to see her again . Knowing that she had s*x with someone else made my stomach turn. It made me so angry that I could break things .

How in the hell was I supposed to compete with some super natural being that looked like a chiseled god .

My head was pounding from all the information I had just received and I felt hung over .

I think that Jake was somehow in my head .

The wolf who met me with Jake said that this was about some turf war , but for some reason I felt like it was much more than that . I had found myself in a mess . I was always good at getting myself in trouble but I had really done it this time . I decided to go to bed and deal with this new information in the morning when my head wasn't still spinning and I didn't have a splitting headache .

Kayla's Pov:

I hate her , I hate that this girl just walked right into a spot that should rightfully be mine .

She's strong , but I think that if I hadn't been fighting with my anger it would have been a much fairer fight . Jameson belongs to me . I gave my virginity to him and that means I should be his Luna , not some daughter of the Alpha that he just happen to end a decades long feud with on the same night that he supposedly finds his fated mate . I don't believe for a minute that the moon goddess did this . I truly believe that it was part of the deal .

I Went for a run after the show down between Raven and I . I needed to clear my head . That's when I stumbled on the rouge wolves. They offered to help me win Jameson back over if I help deliver perfect Raven to them. I hated to go behind Alpha Ellis's back , but I am desperate. The rouges wouldn't give me their name or who I would be delivering her too , just said that the human boy would be in contact with me . Apparently he wants her and I want Jameson so it's a win win for us to work together . I'm uneasy about working with rouges . I don't know what everyone's obsession with Raven is , but the sooner I can get rid of her the better .

I was given a dead line . I have to get her away from Jameson before her first heat . If they are able to convince a pup I will be exposed to Alpha Ellis as punishment for not keeping my end of the deal . Alpha ellis will surely have me killed on the spot I stand if he finds out that I am working against his precious Luna and their mate bond . So now I have to come up with some kind of plan that gets her out of my life , before the dead line and with our being discovered or I will loose Jameson and my life .

The trackers caught wind of the rouges on the pack territory and our conversation was cut short . I gave them my cell number as requested and showed them the fastest and safest way out of the pack property.

Just as they said later that night Rylan sent me a text message . It seems like there's more going on then the rouges helping a love sick human . I don't really care either way , as long as it gets her away from Jameson and allows me to prove to him I belong with him.

Now I just have to break them apart . It's going to be hard . Every day that she wears his mark they will bond more and more . The thought alone makes me want to hurl. I will have to come up with a plan and soon .

Jameson's POV :

Raven is so peaceful when she sleeps . It's like all the fire in her is subdued for just those moments. She's like an angel sent from heaven just for me . I lay in bed as the sun rises taking her in. The way the sunrise hits her brown hair and highlights the red lowlights makes her look like she has a glow to her . Her perfectly sun kissed skin glimmers in the morning sun . I could lay here all day and take her in. The sunlight hits her face and she starts to stir

"Jameson have you been laying here watching me sleep?", she ask in a groggy voice.

" Come in , Anderson " , I can smell his sent through the door and I know he's brought bad news by the fear I sense from him .

"Alpha , I have increased security at the boarders as instructed , my men have been patrolling all night, somehow one of the blood suckers had gotten passed the increased patrol and the added cameras. This letter was found at the front gates, just a few moments before sunrise as the the patrol team was switching shifts . It is addressed directly to you and it has their scent all over it. " Anderson says to me in a tone that carries remorse.

" Anderson , thank you for bringing this to me , Please ask the men to work 12 hour shifts from here on out , I want them to switch shifts two teams at a time and I want it randomized so that it will not be predictable to whom ever is watching from afar. Also have the security cameras updated to the most recent state of the art system that we can find . You are dismissed. "

"Yes sir", Anderson says as he quickly leaves to update the warriors and take care of the camera systems .

I begin to read the letter
