Kayla's Pov:

Leaving Rylan is hard. Iris hates it, I hate it . The drive back to the pack takes about a hour and a half . I drive back in silence rehearsing what I will say to Raven . I hope she believes me . After our showdown at the pack meeting and our exchange this morning. After what seems like forever I see the Pack gates. Here goes nothing. I hope that Raven is as forgiving as Rylan says . I know she will smell his scent all over me.

Ravens Pov:

After my morning walk with Becca I feel much better unloading all of the drama in my life .

I was right about Jameson being pissed . Luckily Tucker and Becca kept their mind link open and she was able to let him know that we were safe in the grounds . She also told him my suspicion of Kayla .

Tucker promised to keep tabs on her without mentioning to Jameson that he may have a trader amongst the pack .

I returned to our suite to wait in Jameson to finish his Alpha business. I ended up taking a long bath in the huge tub and binge watching Netflix most of the day . It was getting late and Jameson finally came back to our room.

" I am sorry I was gone for so long , but don't ever shut me out like that again . If you hadn't of been with Becca I wouldn't know where you were, or if you were safe. Too much is going on to be unsure of where you are Raven. " Jameson says in a worried yet still pissed tone.

" I just needed space to deal with all of this . I knew Becca would let Tuck know that we were safe." I replied to him.

Before he can scold me anymore my phone dings , it's a text from Becca.

Becca : Listen I miss mind linking you , you need to get this Luna ceremony over with.

Raven : I will eventually , what's up lol .

Becca : So Tuck just let me know that Kayla has returned from her day outing . She is requesting to talk to the Luna alone .

Raven : Alone ? that's suspish.

Becca : I know. I don't trust her , but I doubt she will try anything here on the pack grounds .

Raven: Okay have Tucker mind link her and tell her to come to the Alpha's office . I will meet her alone, but not with having someone close by.

Becca : Okay . Talk later and fill me in love you girl .

Raven : Of course . Love you too .

" Jameson , your not going to like this. I have a feeling that Kayla has more to do with everything that's going on then we think . But she's requesting a meeting with me alone, after being gone most of the day ." I tell him .

" What do you mean , Raven. You think she's helping the Rouge's?" Jameson says and his tone is cold and harsh .

" Listen babe , I don't know I just don't trust her after the showdown at the pack meeting . She also came to me this morning to apologize, but I felt like it was forced and fake . Seeing as I am the Luna , or will be officially soon. It's my duty to speak with our pack members when they request a meeting . I told Tucker to send her to your office. I know it's sound proof , but I will keep the link open . You can wait outside the door incase I need you. I doubt that will be the case since I already handed her ass to her once ." I tell him .

" Fine , but if you truly think she's helping them , I will not hesitate to end her, if she crosses any lines. " Jameson huffs .

We head out to his office down the hall . Kayla is already inside and Tucker is waiting by the door.

" I'll be fine Jameson" I tell him. I quickly kiss his cheek and close the door behind me before he can object .

Kayla is sitting in one of the large chairs across from Jameson's desk . His office is nice and large . There is a large black leather couch on one wall . His huge oak desk is in front of the window with two back leather chairs in front . A large book shelf is directly across the office from the couch and it's full of old books . I'm sure that are filled with history on wolves . I make a mental note to ask to read some of them . I love learning about our history. there's a room off the office that is probably a bathroom.

I walk past Kayla to take my seat in Jameson usually spot behind his desk when I get a whiff of a familiar scent .

" Hello , kayla . Would you mind telling me why I can smell Rylan all over you" I casually say to her as I set down .

" Luna , please listen . You are not going to like what I have to say . But please give me time to tell the whole story. " Kayla's tone is sencere this time.

" Kayla , I will allow you to tell me your story , but I have a feeling it has to do with the fact that you are a trader. I can not promise you that once you tell me I will be able to stop Jameson's punishment ." I tell her .

" Luna , I don't know how you figured that out . Rylan says that you are forgiving and I hope for my sake he is right . I was originally helping the men that are after you , but I can no longer do that. " she says as she begins to cry .

" Kayla , what is this about? Stop stalling and just tell me why you are here. I know you wouldn't have come forth unless there is a reason. Jameson will have your life with this confession, so there must be a reason your willing to come to me. " I am fuming inside, fighting the urge to rip her heart out myself.

" Raven, it's true I was willing to trade my life to rid Jameson of you , so that I could win him over . However I didn't plan this on my own . The night of the rouges, they were here to seek me out to team up with Rylan to split you and the Alpha apart . I do not know the name of the Alpha who employees them or the vampires . They would not give me that information. But they instructed me to team up with Rylan and come up with a plan to break you and Jameson apart. To have you leave the pack to make it easy for them to capture you. However when I met with Rylan today it became clear that I can not do that. Rylan is my mate..." She says quietly as she hangs her head.

" So what your telling me is that you were willing to throw me to these awful men who are after me, because you are that delusional to believe that Jameson would run back to you" I growl at her .

" Luna , please understand. Before you came along I truly believed that I was ment to be Jameson's mate. I had no ideal that I would find a fated mate . Now that I have, my only hope is to keep him safe. Please understand that I see the error of my ways, and I will do anything to prove my loyalty to you and to this pack . But my largest concern now is that Rylan will be killed because of me . The vampires have threatened him in to continuing to pursue you . I was also threatened by the wolves who came here . They planned to use us to draw you out. I hope that by coming to you with this information you believe that I can be of help . Rylan has offered to pretend to be on their side and to get more information to report to Jameson to hopefully help you find these people. " Kayla says in somber tone.

" Kayla were you aware that the men who want to capture me, plan to use me as a breeder ? They want Jameson to surrender me so that they can use me to produce hybrid offspring ." I tell her .

The shock on her face tells me that she truly did not know this information.

" No , I was not informed on this. It explains why they want you so much for your blood . Raven I am sorry . Please, I know that you know how the bond works. I can't let them kill Rylan for choosing to be my mate instead of trying to win you back . You also know that him being human means he will have to be turned . Being the daughter of an Alpha, I know you realize this means days of hell for him, and that he needs to be in the safety of a pack to turn." She pleas.

" I can not promise that Jameson will allow him to join this pack . Not after the things he has done to break us apart. However, I do understand the longing to be mated to someone who isn't your mate. Not long ago I prayed to the moon goddess to allow me to be mated to Rylan. You did the right thing coming to me . I no longer love Rylan the way I used to, but I do care for him. I do not wish to see him loose his life because of me. I think you already knew that though , seeing as how he was your plan to rid Jameson of me . I also understand that once you two are officially mated that he will no longer pose a threat to Jameson when it comes to trying to win me back. I will try my best to talk Jameson off the ledge of wanting to end both of your lives for your betrayal." I tell her.

" Thank you Luna, Rylan said that you had a big and forgiving heart. I can see why he adored you so much before. I am truly sorry for everything. I hope that moving forward we may be friends in the future ." She says in a hopeful tone .

" Kayla do you want me to bring Jameson in now , or would you like me to speak to him first? I think if you are present he will believe that you truly mean what you say. If you leave me to speak for you, he may think that you are scheming. I know you are scared and you have reason to be . However, I want you to know that I do believe you and I will do everything I can to protect you and Rylan from death . I can't promise that you will not be banished from the pack , but I will try my best. " I promise her.

I don't like Kayla much . But I do respect her coming clean and I know what it's like to want someone who isn't your mate . I also do not wish to see anyone loose their lives because of me .

" If you believe it's best to be here I will stay, I want to assure both of you that I no longer pose a threat. Raven, Jameson did not earn his reputation being forgiving. I hope that you can help him calm his anger toward me, but I understand if you can not. If I loose my life today , please promise me you will try and help Rylan." She begs.

Seeing the concern she has for him , I truly believe everything she just told me. Kayla is willing to die to protect Rylan .

" I promise to do my best" I tell her as I quickly mind link Jameson.

" Babe , I need you to come in , but I need you to be calm." I say to him tough our link.

" Raven , what do you mean be calm." He replies.

" Baby , listen you are not going to like this. I am safe, we are safe. Kayla has information. I need you to promise to control yourself before you come in." I reply.

" Fine", he snaps back before entering his office .

Jameson looks at Kayla and sees her tear stained face.

" Kayla what is this about?" He command's in his Alpha tone.

" Alpha I am sorry please , please believe that" she cries .

Jameson looks at me then back at her .

" For your sake Kayla, I hope that Ravens suspicion about you was wrong " he growls.

I take him by the hand and lead him to his chair and place myself in his lap . I hope that by my sitting there it will at least give him time to listen before jumping across his desk to rip her head off .

Jameson is confused and uneasy about this meeting I can read it all over his posture .

" Babe , I believe her . I want you to give her time to explain and to make this right. " I sweetly say to him kissing his cheek.

'" Kayla , please explain what this is about . I smell the human boy all over you ." He says coldly.

" Alpha, He is my mate." she whimpers to him .

" And exactly how did you discover this ? " Jameson growls.

I mind link him " Calm down love. She was in the wrong but she's trying to make this right"

" As it's obvious that you have guessed , I planned to work with him to help break you and Luna Raven up. I met with him today to discuss a plan and that's how we discovered that we are fated mates. " She says in a tone that almost makes me feel sorry for her.

Jameson throws me off his lap and has Kayla by the throat before I can even process what is happening.

" Jameson, please let her go! She came here to admit her wrong doing, she's willing to help us " I beg him . Kayla just cries and struggles to breath under his grip.

" Why , should we trust her now?" He roars.

"Because she came to me , she admitted everything and she has a mate. If we allow her to live we may be able to use the information she can provide to find out the name of the Alpha who is after me" I beg him .

Jameson drops Kayla to the ground and she struggles to catch her breath.

" If you cross me Kayla I will kill you , but not until I make you watch as I rip the human boys heart out infront of you , do you understand me ? " Jameson growls loudly at her .

Tears are flowing from her face." Yes Alpha Ellis , I promise I will never betray this pack again. Please forgive me. " She gasps.

" Tell me everything you know" he commands in his Alpha tone.

He returns to his seat and I take my place back in his lap as Kayla repeats her story to him . My heart aches for her. Even with her betrayal I understand why she would have done what she has. I can feel the anger rolling off of Jameson . I continue to stroke his hand and keeping our mind link open I sooth him as much as possible.

The only name she is able to give is Jake. I quicky inform Jameson his scent is the one I picked up on the letter .

Once Kayla has finished, Jameson mind links me . " If I allow her to live I will be viewed as going soft to the outside once word gets out "

" Then we keep this as a need to know " I reply

" Do you feel comfortable allowing the boy to join this pack? " He ask .

" Yes , I have no reason to believe he is any longer a threat. Now that he has been mated to her. He needs the safety of our pack , however I believe we should keep him hidden from the rest of the pack until his transformation is complete and to keep word from getting out that we have taken him in." I replied to his question.

" Kayla , you need to understand that Raven is the only reason your heart is still beating. You should understand that had she not vouched for you I would have killed not only you but the boy without a second thought . You owe her both your lives." He growls at her .

" Thank you Luna", she says as she. bows her head in submission to me.

" I will give the Boy one week to gather as much information on the enemy's as possible. Then you will bring him here in secret . I do not want anyone who is not part of the higher ranks to know of his presence here just yet . You will be given the cabin out by the outskirt of the pack to complete his transformation from human to wolf, and complete the mating process . Guards will be assigned 24 hours to monitor your cabin, Tread carefully. You are walking on thin ice . Do not give me a reason to end both your lives. " He tells her in a cold voice .

" I understand Alpha, I will do anything you ask to prove my loyalty to this pack and to the both of you . Thank you Luna , I will forever be in your debt." She says as she continues to submit.

" Kayla , you are dismissed to leave . Go ahead and move your things into the cabin. I will send Guards over with you . The cabin has been vacant for some time , It would be wise of you to take cleaning supplies and get it ready for your mate. " Jameson dismisses her from his office .

Kayla leaves and I'm left alone with Jameson .

He begins to rub his temples.

" I am in trouble huh" , I tease him .

" Beyond , I hope you are prepared to be punished for the aggravation you've caused today , from blocking our mind link to this" he teases.

" Is it really punishment if I enjoy it" , I tease him while kissing his mark.

Jameson shoves all his paper work off his desk and lifts me into it . He Quickly undresses me and pulls my bottom half to the edge of the desk . I squirm under his touch .

" Now be a good girl and be still." He growls as he parts my legs and begins to spread my lips.

" I will never tire of the sight of your beautiful p***y being ready for me any time I want you" he says in a lustful tone .

Jameson teases me licking and sucking the outside of my folds before inserting a large finger inside me . My body reacts to his touch and my back arches . I don't even care that there are people outside the office standing guard. I know can smell the lust coming from the room .

Jameson flips me over so that I'm leaning over his desk . He slaps my ass making me moan out loud. That's all it takes before he can no longer control himself. He unbuttons his pants and enters me. Jameson thrust hard and deep curling my hair into his fist.

" Mine" he growls as I feel his knot throbbing and filling me with his seed. I can no longer hold in my own climax and finish with him. As we lay across his desk stuck together. He whispers in my ear " I hope you are right about this "

" Me too", I reply.

It's late and I'm exhausted from today's events . Jameson and I return to our suite and decide to take a quick shower and watch a movie before falling asleep in each other's arms . I hope I've made the right decision.
