Hybrid by Blood

     I walked up the stairs, but the feeling of nervousness was taking over. My need to vomit was stronger than before. In two minutes it was going to be my 18 birthday. I knew the rules of pack law, but I didn't care. I was determined to leave the hell hole. Everyone hated me for being a hybrid; might as well make it easier on them. I stood at the door as I counted down the seconds. One minute. I subconsciously told myself. I held my fist up to the door and took a breathe. 30, 29, 28, 27. I sighed and knocked on the door. "Come in," Miles said sternly. I opened the door to see my mother on his lap. My step-father Miles smirked. "Yes Rainn?" He questioned. He looked my up and down as my body shivered under his sight. My half sister came prancing in. Her being only 6 she was made to despise me. "Hello loser," She said as she skipped to dear daddy's side.      I shook my head in disappointment and looked back at my step-father. "I was wondering what you need before I fell asleep," I stated. You were too always state your business before attempting to even talk about other things. One. "Its twelve in the morning Rainn I needed you 3 hours ago, but I already took care of it,"  He said looking at my mother smirking. I shivered once more. I turned to the door and started walking. "By the way," I said smirking. He tilted his head in confusion. "Have a nice life," I said. I grabbed the broom I had left in here and ran out. Since it was double doors I put the broom between the door and the handles.  RUN! Was all I heard from an unfamiliar voice as I dashed down the the stairs and out the front door. What about the patrol? I questioned. Don't worry about that just let me handle them. The voice said. Suddenly I turned. I was running on four legs and headed straight for the border. Where are we going and who are you? I asked mentally. No time for questions just let me handle this. The voice said. I accepted and just ran. I let whoever was guiding me do the moves. Suddenly I jumped and bounced off a tree with my paws. I guess I wasn't controlling this any longer. Finally we are passed the border. The voice said.      Who are you?      I am your wolf. I know what you are and I accept you. I have seen your past and I am sorry I couldn't come any sooner.      It's fine, but where do we go now? I just basically broke the law and I am now a rogue.      Trust me I'll do the wolf part and you do the human part.     I nodded and turned back into a human. Grab the bag you had hidden. I nodded and walked over to a near by tree I moved the rock and reach down into the hole I dug. I pulled out a bag containing some clothes.      I know exactly where to go to get rid of your vampire. We can make you full wolf, but it'll hurt. The Moon goddess wants you too do, but she only wants it to be on your terms. By the way my name is Marilyn.     Oh I'm doing it. Trust me. I don't want to be despised any longer. Marilyn took over and grabbed the bag with her teeth. She started to run and, but because it was so late I was getting tired. Don't fall asleep on me now girl, just a few more minutes. I nodded and focused on other things to stay awake.      A few more minutes pass and we reach a small cottage. Marilyn drops the bag and I take over. I grabbed the bag and went up to the door. I knocked lightly and stood their swaying. Sleep was starting to overcome my brain. "Just a minute," an old woman's voice spoke. A few seconds after the door swung open. She was about my height. Her face was wrinkled, but she seemed sweet. She was dressed in a dress that looked like it was from the 1800's. "Rainn. I have been expecting you. I know exactly what you desire, but I will have to put your step-father's blood in you to replace the vampire, but you must know you will always be a hybrid by blood," She said. I nodded and gritted my teeth. She grabbed my hand and led me inside. "You must be tired, but that will come in handy," She said. She grabbed a robe and handed it to me. "Please cover your self and head to the bathroom. The bath is drawn. Oh and If you must know. My name is Melinda," She said. I put the bag down and put the robe on. I nodded once more and headed do the hall. I heard water trickling from the room to the left and walked in as the door was open. "You must get in the bath with the robe on!" Melinda called from the other room.      I nodded and stepped into the bath. I felt my skin warming up as I sat in the bath. She soon came in with a bag full of stuff. "Just relax dear. I have to drain the vampire venom and replace it with your soon to be father's blood," She said. She pulled out a large needle and went and picked my left foot up and stuck it in from the bottom. I winced and whined at the pain. She mumbled a couple of words and a black substance started flowing out into the bath. She went back to the bag and pulled out a needle and a pack of blood. "Just let sleep overcome you dear. It will be over when you wake," She said. I nodded and closed my eyes as I felt her stick the needle into my arm, but I soon fell asleep.
