{Rainn's Pov}     "How long is the car ride?" I asked softly.  He glanced at me for a second and turned down the music. "It's gonna be about 8 hours my doll," He said as he held out his hand. I grabbed it and smiled at him. He kissed the top of my hand and focused on the road.      For about thirty minutes it was a comfortable silence. "Did you know that there is a way to share your memories with me?" Ryder questioned. I shook my head and looked at him. "I didn't, but I don't think that would be such a good Idea," I said the last part quietly. He looked at me confused. "Why?" He questioned. I took a breathe and looked at him as I plastered a fake smile on my face. "Because I want to get to know each other the normal way," I said. He shook his head. "Your not getting out of this that easy and yes I want to do that as well, but something tells me you need to share something you and your brothers haven't shared about each other," Ryder said with concern.      I shook my head and smiled. "Everything is fine Ryder. Trust me. My life has been fine," I reassured him. He took a breathe. The annoyance and concern was clear on his face as he focused on the road. "Tell you what. I am not going to force you to tell me, but you will have to tell me what's troubling you sooner or later," He breathed. I took a moment and thought about it.      "I am fine with that as long as you do the same," I agreed. He smiled and nodded. I looked at the road as he drove. The car my brothers were in had pulled over into a gas station. Ryder did the same and I got out of the car. My brothers came out with a bag of snacks. I walked over to them. Maddox ruffled my hair. "Hey sis. How's the ride going with Ryder," Grey asked. I smiled and thought of him. They all chuckled. "Awww my sister is in love," Tommy gushed. I blushed and glared at him.      "I'll be acting the same way when you find you're mate," I rebuked. They chuckled and shook their head. Ryder appeared by my side and kissed my cheek. "We'll wait for you guys," Jax said. Ryder nodded and guided me inside the corner store. I went over to the sandwiches and picked out a couple. 'How am I gonna pay for this? I don't have any money,' I thought to myself. I felt someone wrap their arms around my waist. "I can pay doll. Don't worry," He said. I smiled and nodded. He grabbed some water and juice. We went up to the counter. He paid and then we walked out. I noticed there was a yellow porsche parked on the other side of the gas next to Ryder's. He put a hand in front of me. A girl with bright blonde hair and a guy with black raven hair stepped out of the car on either side. I didn't understand why he was doing what he was doing. "Dogs," the blonde haired woman said. The man with raven hair glanced at me. He walked past me dropping a note. Ryder didn't notice. I picked it up and went to give it to him, but I was stopped by Ryder.      I went to say something, but I was pushed in the car. Ryder went over to the car my brothers were at so I took the chance to look at the note. "Once a hybrid always a hybrid," the note said. I gasped and put my hand to my mouth. I notice Ryder coming back so I put the note under my butt. He climbed in the car. "Is everything okay?" He asked. I nodded and smiled. Though my smile was mostly fake he believed it. At least I thought he did. "What did the note say?" He questioned. I froze. "Don't worry my love," I said. He shook his head.      "Do you understand that I am here for you no matter what happens?" He declared.      "Ryder. I understand that, but I am just not ready to tell you and it was just a piece of paper. It didn't have anything on it," I explained.      "Then why hide the note and the doesn't explain the look on your face," He spat.      I sat quietly. I could tell he was angry with me, but I didn't want  to say anything. I didn't like it when he was mad at me. "I'm not mad. I just don't like that you feel you can't trust me," He sighed. I looked at him "I can trust you." I pulled out the note and handed it to him. He opened it and looked at it. "Once a hybrid always  a hybrid?" He questioned. I nodded. He then opened the window throwing the note out. "Don't worry about him o the note. I don't care what you are. I love you for you," He said. I smiled.      A few hours pass by and I had just woken up from a nap. I put my hair up and pulled out my phone. I noticed we were parked at a gas station and Ryder wasn't there. My phone started ringing as there was an unknown number on the screen. I answered it. "Hello?" I whispered.      "It's me your father. The one who sent you letters," The voice said.  I gasped. "Dad?" I murmured. I heard a chuckle from the other side. "Yes sweetie it's me. Look I want to meet up with you tonight. How long until you have free time from your mother and her mate?" He asked. "I am actually not with them anymore. I'm heading to another state," I chimed.     "I know. My friend had an intuition about it. I want to give something to you," He mentioned. I took a breathe.      "Okay that's fine, but my mate can't know about this," I confided.      "I'm going to meet your mate by the way," He cautioned.      I hung up after that. Soon Ryder stepped back into the car. "Your awake? You know that you could have gone in at anytime," He began. I looked at him and nodded. "I know, but I was too comfortable," I concluded. He nodded and started the car, but before we could drive off my brother came to my window. I rolled it down. "We have a situation," He seethed. I looked at him confused. He stepped aside and I got out of the car. I looked around to see Grey and Maddox having a stare down with the Raven haired guy from before. I am assuming his mate is trying to pull him away. I try to walk over there, but Ryder stopped me.      I looked at him in disbelief and pulled away. I stepped between my brothers and them. I looked at the Raven haired guy. Weird. He seemed to calm down. "Thank god," I heard him ease. I looked at him and tilted my head. He was about to say something when Grey grabbed me and pulled me away. I looked back at him and I saw hurt in his eyes. "Don't be dumb sis," He said. He put me in Ryder's car and Ryder drove off. I then heard an unfamiliar voice in my head that is nothing close to Marilyn's.  'Mate'
