I felt my whole blood rushing into my head, and I couldn't stand properly because my legs gave out at the sight of such betrayal that I had to hold the door to support myself from falling.

I opened my mouth to say a word but nothing came out, it felt like hell seeing my boyfriend banging my step-sister. Was that why he refused to pick my call?

“ Mat...... Matthew'' I called when I finally found my voice.

Matthew immediately stopped banging Talia and wrapped the duvet around his body before coming close to me

“ Babe, it's not what you think” he said as he tried to touch me, but I slapped his stinking hand off me.

“Can you please explain what the hell is going on, if it's not what I am thinking” I said as tears rolled down my eyes.

Today happens to be my unfortunate day. I was unlucky to shed tears twice.

“ I…. So…. I” Matthew kept stuttering, and I scoffed in between tears.

“ You don't even know what to say. Why did you do this to me after all I have done for you, Matthew?” I said in a low voice.

“ I am so sorry, babe, I don't know what came over me.” Matthew muttered.

“ What came over you? What could possibly come over you if it's not cheating. You weren't satisfied with me and had to go for my step-sister. Is her p***y so tasty? And I hope you enjoyed the s*x?” I asked, and Matthew's countenance changed from remorse to anger.

“ Yes, her p***y is so tasty that I felt like banging her forever, so what?” He said with a smirk, and I furrowed my brows in disbelief.

“ What?”

“ Yes. And what have you actually done for me? You never gave me your body, so I had to sort out my urges. You never had time for me, but you kept sending me money, can money satisfy my s****l desires? Huh?” He asked, and I staggered back.

“ And you said you love me, Matthew. If you had loved me, you would have waited for me until I was ready, but here you're banging my step-sister just because you were craving sex.” I said and wiped my tears.

“ I did love you, Hailey, but not anymore. Now, I love Talia, and she's the only one who can satisfy me.” Matthew said, and walked back to the bed and continued banging Talia, who was moaning senselessly.

I folded my fists as I watched them bang each other without minding if I was there or not.

“ I would make you regret ever doing this to me, bastard, '' I said and stormed out of Mathew's apartment.

I kept driving non-stop without any directions and I cried myself to sleep in my car that night.

NEXT MORNING

HAILEY'S POV

I woke up with a banging headache because of how much I cried myself to sleep and when I checked the time. It was past 8am in the morning, so I drove quickly home to take a shower and got dressed for work.

On getting home, I met the mother and daughter having fun with each other. I had no time for them, so I walked past them and headed upstairs.

A few minutes later, I was dressed up and was about to leave when Talia's mum stopped me.

“ Hailey, dear, why don't you have breakfast with us?” She said in her usual pretentious way, and I rolled my eyes.

“ No, thanks, I am already late for work” I said and was about to take another step when my father's voice stopped me.

“ Why are you working so hard for a company that would belong to Talia soon?” My dad asked, and I folded my fists and closed my eyes to subside the anger building in me.

“ The company belongs to my mother and I won't give up so easily because you're making Talia the CEO” I said as I glared at my dad.

“ Anyway, I heard you stole Talia's boyfriend, why would you stoop so low to steal your sister's boyfriend from her?” My father said as he settled down on the dining chair. I scoffed, hearing what he said.

Oh! Wow! She already twisted the story and made me look like the bad person and she, a victim.

“ Point of correction father, Talia isn't my sister because I don't have any and how sure are you that I stole her boyfriend when I caught her banging my boyfriend Matthew last night” I said with a scowl on my face.

Saying those words reminded me of how disgusting they were yesterday and I already decided that marriage would be the least of what I was going to do. I would rather stay single than get married to anyone.

“ Is that true Talia?” My father turned to Talia, who began to shed her fake tears as always.

“ Dad, Matthew was mine from the very beginning, she stole him from him, so I had to take him back” Talia said amidst tears and I scoffed where I stood as I watched her display her dramas.

“ Is Matthew a possession that you wanted to take back?” I asked, but my father glared at me.

“ You're such a shameless sister. So you can't let her have Matthew?” My stepmother chipped in and I rolled my eyes.

“ Like mother, like daughter” I said and walked out. Before leaving, I could hear my stepmother shouting my name, but I never turned back.

“ Did you hear what she said, Darling? What is the meaning of "likes mother, like daughter?” My stepmother shouted. Hearing her shouting like that made me smile as I walked away triumphantly.

I would never let them trample on me and as for my mother's company, I would do anything and everything in my powers to make the company mine because it is my mother's sweat and I won't let a stranger take it away from me. I would rather die than give the company to Talia.
