Alex POV. I woke up feeling tired from all the stress that kept building up these past weeks. Finals suck and I am so glad they are over. Starting from today and for two weeks, I will not have to worry about lectures, grades, study sessions and maintaining a healthy life. Today I will charge my batteries with food and movies. With that thought, I left my bed for breakfast. Today is my " congratulations you finished finals" breakfast, so something that screams unhealthy. Pancakes with nutella and bacon. I know it is disgusting, but it is also delicious. I placed my order and went to freshen up. Fifteen minutes later, I heard a knock on the door and became worried because the place I ordered was twenty-five minutes away, so this was not my breakfast. This meant only one thing, I thought, as I opened the door. "What took you so long?" Chloe, my best friend, said as I tried to move my body to the couch and she sat on the other side. "Ah, I was sure of my fate. I ordered breakfast and instead I got you.Caffeine isn't an option for me a day after my finals... I need to detox, so shut up" I said. As I tried to stay awake, I observed my best friend's appearance and I knew she had a schedule for the day. She had wore her brown hair in a ponytail, and had a pair of white jeans on, with a blue shirt. Maybe its a date with that Jack guy. I didn't like him one bit, but Chloe, as a ranked delta wolf, had everyone's eyes on display, but she knew most of them made a move, because of her rank, or her body and not for her. "Alrighty then, what are we doing today?" So no date. I knew that she wanted something. My wolf could sense she was up for trouble again. "I was thinking of celebrating with junk food and a good movie marathon, but I sense you have other plans." "Alex, well..." oh no, it is never good when she pauses... don't pause, don't pause, don't pause, "the truth is I need a huge favor" "I am listening..." oh goddess I am f****d. "A waitress from the club got sick at the last minute and we have this event and it's very important and the owner said that if we find someone first, you and I will have a bonus and it is just one night, so nothing that you can't handle" she said while making puppy dog eyes and turning her voice in a cute cartoonish character. I paused thinking about it. I knew Chloe's salary, so I knew it was good money for a night. Financially, I was dependent on my parents and the pack paid for my college tuition, because I was the only one who thought that the pack needed a tech team. It was a win-win deal. When I promised that, they paid me to study more and I loved that and, in the future, I would become the tech manager of the pack. But I wanted to be more independent, I guess. "b***h yes!!!" and with that Chloe squeezed me with excitement and, at the same time, she was calling her boss. When she ended her call, she told me I had got the gig and then we decided to hang out a bit and later get ready for the club. This was not my first time as a waitress. Right before I left my pack to study, I was waitressing at the cafeteria of the pack house, but a club was a whole different thing, so I asked Chloe to explain everthing in detail to be ready for the night. At nine, we walked through the back door of the club, after we stopped at Chloe's so can glam me up. I was not into make up at all, and every time she did my make up, she had a blast. All the stuff was working on decoration for this important event that I found later was hosted by the alphas of Blue Moon Pack, because they came to an agreement with the Alpha of the Gurrera Pack. The agreement was that the younger son of the Alpha family will marry the Alpha's daughter from the Gurrera's. There was not mate bond or anything romantic, it was just a plain financial agreement. When I heard this, I internally growled, that moment I said to myself to get my degree as soon as possible and get the heck out of the territory that was now Blue Moon's Pack. The Blue Moon Pack is the reason I am adopted and the only lycan alive. Don't get me wrong, I love my parents, but being a lycan and having to hide that all my life was something I dont think I will ever recover. Almost twenty years ago, amidst of the great war, the lycans were allies with the Red Moon Pack, but then a traitor gave insight information to the Blue Moon Pack and they attack instantly, killing everyone but me from the lycans and two thirds from the Red Moon. Chloe along with her parents were surving members. Her parents found me in the woods and when we were found by Crescent Wolf Pack, I was adopted. Chloe doesn't want to remember the past and tries to live her life even if it means to be in the Blue Moon's territory for her college education. When she calm me down, she introcuded me to Noah the barman. Noah was a nice, easy going guy, we talked for a bit and he gave me my tables for the night. At twelve, an hour after the club one its doors, the place started to overflow. After I gave a round on my tables, I placed the orders on Noah and waited near the bar. Chloe came and did the same thing. She was clearly annoyed "What's up with you now?" I asked leaning my back to bar. "The heels and Jack is flirting with that blonde over there, when he said 10 minutes ago, he is in love with me" she shrugged and copied my action. Chloe saw this coming but the disappointment of being right was always there. Just then Noah touch my shoulder to get my attention. "Hey beautiful, here is your order" "It's not all of them" I accidentally high peached. "Take those and when you are back I will have the rest of them" Dick... that mothefucker making me do two times the run for a group order. I left and went to the VIP section to give the order to the table. When I was about to leave the VIP section and go back to the bar I fell on a wall. A wall with abs. I didn't see him, I just said sorry and went to get the other part of the order. At the stairs, I thought to myself this dude lives for coffee, I mean he smelled brewed coffee. It was addictive to someone like me. I drooled with the idea of hugging someone with that scent. As I approach the bar I heard Noah asking Chloe "Is she single?" "Who is single?" I asked trying to blend back to the conversation. "umm- that hot of an ass guy that just got to the VIP section, you saw him right? I think he is on my table" said Chloe. "oh I didn't really saw him but cool" "um okey dokey, Chloe here are the cocktails for table 4 and you go to that hot ass on VIP section" Noah then pointed at me and said "give me a minute I will get you ready" I gave him a glare and soon enough, he gave me the rest so Chloe and I were at the same time heading for the VIP section. Toni's POV My brothers and I were heading to the club to celebrate our agreement with the Gurrera Pack. That meant the expansion of our territory, financial support from the pack but also, we know to protect them. It is going to take a while until they can trust us but I know how it's going to be it's not my first and it's not going to be the last time we take a pack under our protection. I think the most difficult task will be my brother's, but he was the one who suggested it. Derek is the youngest in the family and suggested to marry Lia, for the sake of both packs but he is not her mate. When he suggested it, me and my brothers tried to reason him to wait for his mate but he has his own life and decisions to make, and since its good for the pack, I can't really say anything other than give him my blessing and hope for the best. Other than Derek, I have two more brothers. We are triplets and we all ran the duties of an Alpha. We were with 2 Lamborghinis, I was driving with Stefan on a black one and the white was James's, who rode with our baby bro, Derek. Our betas Colton and Scott would have come too if they weren't f*****g like rabbits. We head inside and I smelled something strange, except all the alcohol, the different tastes, the sweat and a different mix of colognes, I smelled strawberries with chocolate. It was distant but I drooled a little in my mouth. I saw my brothers reaction and I knew. You smell that right?' I said over our triplet mindlink. 'Mate!aghhhh' 'Mate!aghhhh' they both said. We tried to smell where was this scent coming from but we couldn't detect exactly, it seems like our mate walk through all the places in the club. We knew we will find her, we head to the VIP section and the scent got stronger, I was so focused on trying to find this person that I bumped into someone. She was small, so I only got to see her hair. I heard a faint 'Sorry' and then she run off quickly. IS THIS HER? I saw my brothers looking at her and then me... DID I SERIOUSLY DIDN'T SAW MY MATE NOW ... MOON GODDESS ARE YOU f*****g WITH ME OR SOMETHING? "She smells freaking amazing" James said. "I second that" Stefan replied. "She didn't really recognize the bond, is she human?". "It doesn't matter if she is human, we will win her. She is a watress, let's hope she has our table". I sat down with that hope. "Did you just find your mate?" my young brother said. "Yep" all three brothers answer in one voice. Derek spoke again but I focused on the steps I heard from the stairs and then I saw a girl approaching. 'Hello, I am Chloe and I will be your waitress for the night, what can I get you?" As this girl called Chloe talked, I saw a petite figure walking by, to reach the table next to ours. My triplet brothers and I didn't pay much attention and we were all focused on our mate. "Sorry, I don't want to be rude but can the waitress from that table be our waitress tonight?" said Derek. "Umm let me check" and then she approached our mare. I focused my hearing on their conversation "The hot guys want you to be their waitress, let's just swap tables of VIP, maybe you'll get lucky and they will pop your cherry" "Chloe, shut the f**k up. You know I want to get married first so f**k off" "Okay Alex, dont f**k them, just serve them, they are big heads" "Show offs, fine but you owe me" "Did you just heard that she is waiting till marriage" James said. I nod and smiled. Alex came to our table with her head down on the phone ready to take orders. "Hello, I am Alex and apparently I will be your waitress for the night, what can I get you?" at the end of the sentence she highed up her gaze and met my eyes. My wolf was having a party, my heart was pounding like crazy, she was not only pretty, she was beautiful, gorgeous. She bit her lips and I swear to goddess I was not only hard, I almost exploded in my pants. I couldn't help myself I growled 'MATE!' and heard from my brothers the same.
