Allies eyes     On her way to Alamo Alli stopped by a lake side motel. It was a long building across the street was the dock to a very large lake. Alli bunked with another chick, that was also a traveler. She had been there before and knew that she better get on before the strange occurrences could over that what she was to do. Early the next morning Alli continued on towards Alamo. The drive gave her time to reflect on life. Deep down Alli knew she had always done right by others, but she was starting to doubt she had done what was right for her. As she arrived in Alamo Alli felt herself grow uneasy. Jack and L. J. were there and both were easily enthused by her stories It was sweet moments like these that reminded Alli why she worked so hard even when it was at great cost to her. Sh'e loved her nephew and Lees son as if they were her own children. She hoped that all she and Lee had to do and had done would be enough for his younger generation to not have to be torn by war. On her way down she heard rumors the war was almost finished, Alli thought and silent prayed for as she related to the boys all her and Lees stories since last she got to see them. Then the boys told her about what city life had been for them in Alamo. It was around three am when the three finally decided they all better get some sleep.     Around noon the next day Alli woke up feeling refreshed. Her mind raced at first then she remembered that she was in Jack's house in Lees room. A smile crossed her lips as she thought of the night before, the boys had made her forget time for a little while and it had been a long time since Alli had been that relaxed. As she came out of the room she noticed Jack was the only one there. L.J was in school, slowly she walked to the coffee pot and poured herself a cup. Jack she found was silently observing her. "What?" She asked. "I cant believe your actually here." He stated. "Is that a good thing or bad?" She asked teasingly. Shock crosses Jacks face then laughing "GOOD, definatly good." Jack continues to chuckle. Thinking about it to Jack, His aunt Alli hand always been his favorite to banter with. She always knew how to make him verbally stumble. "Do you plan to stay?" he asked growing serious again. "No, not really I need to got to Paso and do something there". " You meant another mission??" he asked feeling sadness "Yes," Alli knew by the way his face fell that Jack did not want her to go. "Are you aware there is bombs and other s**t going on down there? Do you really have to go be in the middle of that?" "Yes, Jack, I know. As for the other question, you know I do. This shouldn't take to long." Before he could argue further Jack saw Alli was on the verge of tears, and though he felt them too. He walked over and gave his aunt a hug. He knew he better stop being upset or he would miss out on moments like this. Just him and her hanging out, drinking coffee and talking like adults. Also it was a known fact in this family all you ever got was small moments to remember when they were sent on assignment. Then suddenly a glint of mischief shined in Jacks eyes. He left the kitchen and when he came back he brought his aunt a box of chocolate. Smiling the woman accepted and quickly opened the package Pure pleasure came over her face as she tasted the sweet treat. Laughing she told Jack he had always been her favorite nephew. Though he was the only one she had he still didn't argue. They watched a movie together before L.J was home from school. They all watched his choice of movie before Alli made them dinner. For the three of them it was an excellent night.
