6 I followed Tania out the front door and onto the porch. I thought I caught a glimpse of Sam’s translucent form flutter by the upper window before Vinnie shut the door behind me. “They can’t really kick you out of your own home, can they?” I protested as we stood there. “Seems Rick would disagree with that assessment. Not that I’ve any idea what they hope to find,” Tania answered with a glare at the doorway before starting down the front steps. “Come on, we better not linger.” I followed her up the road toward the center of town, unsure of where we were headed.
