Megan's P.O.V.

"what in the actual f**k !! Who the hell ???why the hell??? my car!! I scream and sit on the ground I have always been a little on the dramatic side "I just got these tires Skye I don't understand why someone would do this. I haven't done anything to anyone to deserve this. do you know how much tires cost I cant get three new tires right away I'm going to be carless and have to ask my mom for rides and she always wants to talk about feelings the entire car ride no music no peace just talk about feelings. my dads gonna say I never should have had the car because I'm not responsible enough for it. you know he was never on board with me getting a new car you crash one time and you cant drive anymore. I take better care of my car then I do my self !!!! why me ??? I looked at Skye and noticed even she looked worried but hid it as soon as i noticed .

she gave me a hug and said "we will figure it out we always do remember when we snuck out and got lost we made it home didn't we I got this calm down" she tried to reassure me

" this is different Skye someone did this on purpose. who would do this?" I cover my face with my hands as more tears fall "maybe it was your ex Samantha she was hurt when you broke it off?" she said " no I seen her the other day she has a new girlfriend she isn't going to mess with me"

She didn't respond so when I looked up I notice her on the phone. I know it has to be with her dad he will save the day and get us home. she hangs up the phone looking worried

"my dad said to go to the nearest store and go inside he will be here in 30 minuets". she says as she turns around to head to the store "no way I'm leaven my car for something else to happen to it you go wait inside ill wait here " she was already walking so when i said that she stopped turned around a played with the bottom of her shorts. Skye hates not listening to her dad so I know she is having an internal war with her self leave me alone and listen to her dad or don't listen and don't leave me alone trying to make it easier for her I make the suggestion "what if I get in the car and put the top up and lock the doors will that make you feel better about me staying with the car? "

she smiles real big and says "I bet my dad didn't even think of that option he is super protective of me I don't think he will be upset if we do that instead of going inside we will still be safe right" she asked but I'm not sure if she was asking me or her self. I answered anyway "right" I said as I walk to my car still crying over my tires how could someone be this mean for no reason. we get in the front seat and I try to start the car to put the top up and no noise no nothing the key just turns. banging my head on the steering wheel I scream . Skye blocked the steering wheel from my head with her hand I look over and she is smiling

"why the hell are you smiling this isn't funny now my car wont start my tires are shredded my life is over!!!"

she shakes her head with the same smile on and tells me" pop the hood Megan"

I forgot she took that mechanics class last year. Skye hops out and goes to the front of the car she looks like a pro even in her sunflower outfit she can literally do almost anything. while she is being Mrs. fix it I make a post online about her always saving the day. she hollered for me to try to turn it over it made a noise this time but didn't start.

"ok ok stop" she said

after about 10 more minutes of scrolling online and she still isn't back in the car or giving me more instructions I poke my head out to see what's taking so long.

"Skye what's wrong with it can you fix it or am I screwed real good this time ".

no answer ugh I know she gets super focused on a task she is doing but she really will block out the entire world to concentrate and it drives me batty.

"Skye!!!" I scream a little louder as I'm getting out of the car and walking to the front. peaking around the hood I see no Skye.

" what the hell where did she go " I asked out loud

I go inside the store right by the car and ask the the lady "excuse me have you seen another girl come in here black shorts with sunflowers yellow tank top and messy bun? "

nope your the only little lady to come in today can I help you is everything alright" she says sounding a little worried.

" no maybe I'm in the wrong store"

frustrated I go back outside to my car. now I'm confused how did she disappear did I scroll that long checking the time I notice I have been scrolling for 30 min not 10.. did her dad come get her and leave me behind did I miss an entire conversation to caught up in my phone what in the hell. just as the thought passed my head I turn to face the street and see her dad running with a small army of 15 right behind him right away I relaxed I just know its the toughest wolves from home. he only needs to cross two more streets and run across the town garden also known as town square right in the middle of town. just then I heard someone say excuse me and before I can turn around he grabs me and covers my face with something I can hardly breath and whatever I'm breathing in off this cloth smells funny I can kind of hear her dad screaming my name before I felt really heavy everything went dark and I started to fall.
