“Is he dead?”
“Oh no! What a poor man. I can't believe he's gone like that”
Aiden heard. The faint whispers and sympathy that came from the passersby in the hospital caused him to open his eyes slightly as he watched them depart one after the other as soon as they watched him.
He didn't know how long he had been there but he knew it was dark.
Sitting up in anger and dismay having craving for death, Aiden wondered why he was still alive. Wasn't his blood spluttered everywhere earlier?
Why did it seem like he could not feel any pain? Aiden thought and for some reasons, it seemed like something was wrong with his body system.
He seemed to be hearing machines beeping within him but he couldn't understand what was going on instead. All of a sudden, a green machine surfaced in front of him.

“What the hell is going on with me?” Aiden thought in shock as it seemed like the machine within him wouldn't stop.

“I'm going crazy! Help me!” Aiden screamed out in panic as he tried standing but for some reason, it seemed like he was glued to a position while he listened to everything the system was saying.

“I don't want to be your host. Let me go. I have heard enough of life. All I want is to die!” Aiden screamed out again. To some passerby who watched him, they all thought he was crazy.

Aiden laughed. He was definitely crazy because he was hearing things within him.
One million dollars? Who wants to give him that in this economy? It was hard for even a businessman to lend a person a cent not to talk of a million dollars.
“Whosoever you are in my head, I can't fall for scam. Now that I am alive, I have a lot on my plate right now. One million dollars on my foot!” Aiden said and scoffed.

Aiden couldn't imagine that a sum of one million dollars would be sent to him instead because he was extremely poor.

Aiden was perplexed as he stared at the red and blue button.
If he pressed the red button, did that mean that he would be poor?
But what was the assurance that this system was telling lies? He'd only seen the system in novels but thinking that such would happen to him was a misery.
Well, he wished to die. If anything happened to him, he had nothing else to lose and so, he clicked on the blue button.
Almost immediately, as if transacting, the system suddenly beeped and it showed that one million dollars had been transferred to his account.

Almost immediately, his phone beeped and he picked it up in shock only to see a… credit alert?
“It's real! Ahahaha!” Aiden screamed out in shock as he stood up, outsmarting the nurses who tried their best to grip him. It turned out that his bed was only placed at the corner of the hospital because there was no guardian.
“I am rich!” He yelled as he counted the figures to be sure of what he was seeing. He was less bothered about what the system had said about spending the money within a day.
“You're not fully healed and shouldn't be screaming;”
“Call the doctor. He's definitely crazy!” The nurses said in fear as they suddenly saw the man who was on the brink of dying a few hours ago scream like he had won a lottery.
In order for him to be fully sure of what the system was talking about, he had a particular amount of money transferred to his other account and the moment he received an alert, he couldn't contain his excitement as he laughed hysterically.
However, it took everything in the nurses power to have him sat down while they ran a background check on him only for them to discover that he was really okay.
Looking at him in confusion, the doctor scoffed.
“You poor people and your mentality. I know you did this because you wanted to eat the free foods at the hospital. I never knew you were one of them!” The doctor said in anger.
However, Aiden did not understand what he meant as he looked at the doctor. What he didn't understand was that they had received so many reports of the poor people trying to outsmart the doctors and authorities by pretending to be sick just because there would be free food served to them at the hospital rooms and so, when it was time to pay the bills, they would somehow find a way to escape.
Now, they all misunderstood Aiden to be one of them. Remembering what had been happening and how they had been trying to outsmart them, the doctor called the authorities.
“We've caught on
