“Aren’t we done with that family?” Ryder asked.
I fitted him with a mic.
“Hey, your brother is sitting in a jail cell because of this damn family. Now hold still,” I said.
I applied tape.
“Check your mic,” RJ told Evan.
“Testing, one, two, three,” Evan said.
“Are we good?” RJ asked Austin.
“Perfect. I need the boys to test theirs,” Austin said.
Liam looked in the monitors.
“Frisco needs his camera adjusted.”
“How about now?” Matt asked.
“Perfect,” Liam said.
“How did you figure out how to do this?” Shay asked.
“These two are great at setting booby traps,” Xavier said.
He pointed at Liam and Austin.
“We’re all set,” I said.
“Do you think this will work?” Matt asked.
We all looked at Shay.
“If it’s Sam, it’ll work,” Shay said.
