The Kiss

Skyler's POV

We walked back in a nice silence. I wanted to touch her but was scared that she would pull away. I mean looking at myself covered in my father's blood and me being naked. When we reached the packhouse, everyone was finishing the daily chores. As they came across my path they bowed their heads to us in respect. Hazel, the lady that took care of me once my mother left, came to us handing me a towel. "Alpha and Luna" she says as she bows her head. "Hazel, you dont have to call me Alpha." She told me. She should not call me alpha.

There was no way I was letting her do that. She just smiled and shook her head, then my little mate spoke for the first time to someone in my pack besides me and Gio. "Please just call me Carly." she whispered. If we were not werewolfs we would not have heard her. "O hi darling I am Hazel. I am the head house keeper and if you need anything you let me know. I am so happy he found you." Hazel said as she pulled Carly in. Please have dinner sent to my room in about an hour." I told Hazel as I took Carly's hand, feeling the warm shocks from the shock we touched. We reached my room and she looked around. I hope she liked the way it was. " Carly," she turned to me, looking like heaven," I am going to take a shower and get cleaned up, please be here when I get out so we can talk." all she did was shake her head.

Yes. I go and take a hot shower, wash off the blood of my father and the stress of the day. Walking out to find that Carly had unpacked my bags and was holding a change of clothes for me. I put on the shorts and black shirt that she held for me. " Carly, can you please sit?" she walked over looking very nervous and with a little fear. "Carly, I think you understood what I meant when I said that I wanted both.

Yes, I wanted the title of Alpha. That was because my father was a bad alpha and I needed to save my pack from him. I need my mate to be able to challenge him, but I want you too. I don't want you to only be the Luna of my pack, I want you to be my mate as well. I want to build a loving relationship that comes with being a mate. I want you to share my room and my life. How do you feel about that? Is that something you would want too?" I asked. Was she crying?

Carly's POV

We walked to his packhouse in silence. I could see that he wanted to touch my hand, but he held back, not sure why, if he did, I would let him. "Maybe he doesn't want to be with his father's blood all over him." Tessa said, which makes sense. When we got near the pack's house, I could see a big difference in the way the pack acted. They didn't seem scared anymore, didn't look happy. No one looks sad that they have just lost their alpha at the hands of their new Alpha. As we entered the house, a little old lady walked up to us with a towel for my mate. She smiled at him like a mother would "Alpha and Luna", she said, with a bow. I heard my mate tell the lady not to call him alpha.

I can see that he has a sweet spot for the lady that he calls Hazel." Please call me Carly." I said to her. She tells me how happy she is that Skyler found me and he tells her to send our dinner to the room in an hour. He takes my hand and leads me to his room. I love the little shocks that I get when he touches me. We walked into his room. It's so big, there was a king-sized bed in the middle of the room with a couch at the end. Two doors on the right one, I guess is the bathroom and the other is his walk, in closet. The color is red and black, which are my favorite colors. "Carly" Skyler calls out to me, making me turn around. " I am going to take a shower, please be here when I get out." I shake my head.

Yes, he goes to the front door, which. The bathroom. When I hear the water turn on, I then turn to unpacking him. Putting all his stuff up and getting his clothes out for him to wear when he gets out, since he didn't take any in with him. I didnt unpack my stuff in his room, not sure what room he wanted me to be in. He walks out with a towel hung very low, making my mouth water. I handed him the clothes that were in my hand. He put them on and went to the couch. I sat beside him, he poured out his heart and when he was done talking I found myself crying.

He just asked me to share not only his pack but his life. " Carly baby are you ok?" Skyler asked, looking at me with worry in his eyes. "You have no idea how long I have dreamed of my mate telling me that he wanted me. I want to be with you in every way that I can be. Like your Luna, your mate and anything else that you need. What do you all want me to do?" I asked, scared he would treat me the way my old Alpha did. "Can you tell me why you asked that," Skyler asked, with worry in his eyes. "Tell him the truth, tells can trust him to do what is right."T tells tells told in my mind.

" I am scared that you would want me to be like my Aunt the Luna of my old pack or how they treat the women of the pack. " I started to tell him. Then remember what Uncle Joe told us. We can not talk about the rules with anyone outside the pack." Can you tell me about it?" he asked so sweetly. " NO, we are not allowed to talk about the pack outside the pack. We will get in trouble. Maybe we can get permission from my dad when they come." he didn't look too happy about that answer, then, like a light came on in his head. " Carly, do you plan on staying in my pack pack being my mate and the pack Luna?" " Yes" I answered him, wondering where he was going with this.

Looking at him as his mind linked with someone, about ten minutes later there was a knock on the door. He gets up and answers it, in walks Gio. ". What's going on?" I asked them. Skyler looks like he was about to win the big game. " So I have an idea. You are going to take the pledge to my pack if you are no longer a member of the Clearwater pack and we can talk about whatever we want and you can't get in trouble with that pack. Gio is here to witness the pledge, so it is legal.

So what do you think?" " Do it we are safe here and Alpha Joe can't touch us once we take the pledge to the Bloodmoon pack." Tessa said, agreed with her. "OK, let's do it." He stood and pulled me up to him. " Repeat after me, I Carly Ann Johnson pledge my loyalty to the Bloodmoon and to it Alpha Skyler Wayne Sliverstone. I promised to protect him and our pack with my life." without missing a beat, I took the pledge to tie myself to him for the rest of my life. When I was done, he bent down and gave me a peck on my cheek. I blushed so hard.

"Carly, now that you are a member of my pack, can you please tell me why you are scared of being my Luna?" Skyler and Gio sat down with me and I started to tell them. " The woman in my old pack is not allowed to train or make decisions with out her mate. All women are slaves to their mates, even the Luna. Women have to sleep where and with whoever their mate or father says to." I said the last part with tears rushing down my face. The boys looked like they were ready to fight. I could see them fighting their wolves for control.

It was a little while before Skyler spoke and when he did I could see as well as hear that his wolf was just as pissed as he was. "Well, that is not how I run my pack. My father was an ass, but he didn't even run the pack that way. You are not my slave or anybody's. I want us to grow our relationship to be a strong and loving couple. You should not serve me unless you want to. As for where you sleep, you sleep in our room in our BED! NEVER ARE YOU TO SLEEP WITH ANYONE BUT ME!" that last part he growled so loud the room shook, Gio and myself found ourselves bowing down to him. His alpha aura was so strong at that moment.

Skyler's POV

The more she told us about her pack, the more angry I got. How in the hell does an Alpha or a pack treat the women of the pack like that? And how does no one know about this s**t? I asked myself "She told us if they talk then they, get in trouble. The question is, how are you going to show her that we are not like that? Also, are you going to let your father treat your mother like that in our packing house or in our pack?" Damon asked me. He was growling, knowing that our mate was treated like that. She was treated like a dog. Damon was fighting me for control.

When she was done talking, I growled out what would be in that pack. In the last part, Damon took control, letting our alpha aura out, making Gio and Carly bow to us, which set me off more. I crossed the room, picking her up by the arms. "YOU DO NOT BOW TO ME!" I growled at her."You are my mate, not a slave." "Skyler let go of her, you are scaring her!" Gio yelled at me. I look down. She was shaking my hands. I put her down, she ran to the bathroom, locking the door behind her. My heart broke thinking that I scared her and wondering if I had hurt her. "Gio please go. I need to talk to her alone." I asked him. At first he looked like he didn't want to go.

His wolf was probably telling him to stay and protect his Luna, but in the end he left. "Baby please open the door. I was not mad at you. I was mad that you were treated like that and mad at myself for making you bow to me." I said to the door, "Skyler, I thought I wanted to fear you but that scared me." she said through the door. "I am sorry, please let me in or you come out here. I promise I will control my anger." she didnt answer me but I heard the door unlock. I opened the door, finding her on the wall far away from where I was. Looking at her, I could see my hand prints on her arms," Baby I am so sorry."

I reached for her and she flinched but didn't move away from me. I pulled her into a hug, put my head on top of her head, took a breath and took in her scent , walked her back to the couch in our room. "Carly, can you answer me one thing?" She shook her head. Yes " Does your dad treat your mother that way and did he treat you that way? I need to know before they get here tomorrow." She takes a deep breath and moves closer to me, which makes me relax a little, " When we were at home, no dad did not treat us that way. He did not believe it was right to treat the women of the pack like that, but when we were out in public or someone was over, he did. He said he would be in trouble and that we would be beaten if he treated us as equals. He never wanted me to find a mate in that pack.

My mother never questioned anything her father was the was way as Uncle Joe." " OK thank you baby for talking to me about this and I promise that will never be the case here." We sat there for a while, when there was a lite knock on the door, a young omega walked in with our food. "Your dinner Alpha Skyler." she said smiling at me , she was acting like Carly was not even there. " Can I get you anything else?" she said walking over to us. Carly sat up to see what the omega was going to do next. Before she did anything. Carly spoke "YOU can leave us now." she said nicely but with a little Luna tone. The omega got mad and walked out. We ate in silence.

It was nice just having her near me. When we was done, Carly surprised me with her next question. "Skyler, can I ask you to do something for me?" shaking my head, yes "Will you kiss me?" There was not a second thought in my head, I grabbed the back of her neck and pulled her close. Placing my lips on her soft full lips was like Heaven. She put her arms around my neck. I bit her lip to gain entrance to her mouth. She let out a moan which just made me want more of her. She ran her hands up my neck into my hair, making me purr with pleasure.

After a while, we pulled apart trying to catch our breath. "Did I do it right?" she asked shyly and blushing hard. " Yes baby you did that right." I was so hard. " Mate and mark her now!" Damon yelled in my head, " Not with. out her permission" I told him and shoved him to the back of my mind. " Baby lets go to bed your family will be here tomorrow and I have a meeting with Giovanne to figure out who my gamma will be now that I am Alpha and my father's Gamma only has a girl." Carly got up put her hand out to me taking it she walked to the bed.

I got in and she walked to her bag and got her pjs out. She put on a pair of short shorts and a tank top." Good luck getting to sleep with her wearing that", Damon laughed in my head. Carly started to get in bed. She needed help getting in, so when I got out of bed she looked down and let out a loud breath. My dog was sticking straight up. "O baby did I do that to you?" she asked, blushing hard. "She called us baby" I was so happy at that comment that we forgot that she asked me a question."Skyler?" do that pulled me from my head. "Yes baby you did that to me, but we are not going to doing anything like that until you are ready. Come, let's go to bed." I said as I put her in bed.

"Are you sure you don't want me to take care of that? I know that's part of a mate's job." O man, she was not making it easy for me to do what is right. Yes, I wanted her to put it. I want her to want me too." Carly wanted you to want to do something?" " I feel the bond between us but I dont know you well enough to do that yet. But I dont want you to look where else for it. I know that will not be your first, but I want to be your last." her saying that tore me in half , I should have waited for her like she waited for me. " Baby, I promise I can wait for you to be ready and I am sorry that I let for you." I said as I kiss her again. "Come lets sleep." she said. I lay down and pulled her to me, wrapping my arms around her. It was not long before we fell asleep. I dreamed I was walking along the beach.

There was a lady at the end just standing there looking out over the water. As I got close to her she turned, looking at me and smiled. "Hello my child," she said, sounding like an angle. "No my child, I am not an angle. I am the moon goddess Selen. I want to talk to you about a couple of things." I fell to my knees. "What do you want to talk to me about?" I asked with a shaky voice. " Your mate and your gamma. Your mate is one of my special children. You will have to protect her well if you want the family you want. Don't pick your gamma until after the Johnson family got up to your pack." with that she started to walk away from me. "Protect her from what??" I yelled after her but she didn't answer.

I felt myself waking up. "Skyler woke up! Baby wake up please!" Carly was saying as she shook me. I opened my eyes, looking at her. She had worry all over her face. " Are you OK? You were yelling." " Yes, I am fine, sorry for waking you. It was just a dream." she sighed and laid back down. After a couple of minutes, her breathing even went out and she was asleep again. What did the goddess mean to protect her well and why cant I pick my gamma until my mate's family gets her? I will protect my Luna with my life, whispering that out to the moon goddess. A while later, I finally fell back to sleep.
