Chapter 52The dispatcher called back. “Your daughter Lani is nearby. We have identified her location. She's close to where you are. Do you see our officers yet?”
Penny looked at John and surveyed the crowd. “No, I don't see them yet. There are tons of people all over the place.”
“Is Lani at this resort?”
“Yes, it seems she's at the Wild Cat exhibit.”
Penny looked straight up at the neon, glittering billboard depicting roaring lions. Technological craftsman had created the blinking billboard with with red, orange and green lights. Bloodthirsty looking fangs flashed and snarled high above the ruckus of the crowds. Duh, she thought, we've been sitting here all this time. The light display also consisted of aqua blue lights which showed a man in a loincloth swinging from a rope, like Tarza
