A LEARNED LESSON

CHAPTER 2

she(Efosa) got married to a young guy, David. David was interested in her and she gave in to her approach, but before that happened.

It was a Monday evening,Efosa went out for a dinner party at a club with her friend since they had all graduated from the university and had free time for themselves. When the party was on, everybody at the party was having a good time and the friends enjoyed their outing.

So after 50 minutes passed by, there was a particular young guy, David who sat nearer to where these ladies were. He started gazing at these ladies, particularly Efosa.

He started creating attraction by using his body language, and eye contact. When the girls noticed that this guy had been looking at them for a long time, David stood up from where he seated and walked towards the place where the girls were.

On getting there, he greeted them by

Saying Hello ladies, how are you doing..and they replied they were all doing well. But before saying this his gaze was on Efosa while coming, and when he got there all his attention was also on her.

After greeting them, that's when he said to Efosa, do you mind if you join me for a drink??...and Efosa replied yes. And David said I will be waiting, then he moved to his seat.

Shortly, Efosa joined David and before the advent of that, she felt happy because she thought she might find love. When Efosa joined him, he ordered some hot drinks and the attendant came alongside with it and got it delivered.

He started engaging her in a conversation for a while, inside the conversation there were funny jokes, stories, etc...all being said by David, and that made the conversation humorous and enjoyable for them.

But after one hour of having a good time with each other, they exchanged contact and shortly, David left the party. But Efosa and her friends are still at the party, enjoying their day.

But when Efosa joined her friends, her friends started talking to her about the guy and they knew for sure that their friend had come across someone who would love her.

Soon after David left, they left the party.

In the morning Efosa's phone rang, and on getting the phone it was David's number, And she picked the call. David greeted her and engaged her in a 2minutes conversation but, before they called up, David asked Efosa for a lunch date and she agreed to join him at ShopRite around 2pm.

After their conversation, one of her friends, tope said she wanted to come to her house around that time, but she declined that she wasn't going to be around at that time, and when she asked her “where is she going to'’ ?..

Efosa responded that David called her up and he wanted her to have a lunch date with him. Tope said no problem as she agreed not to come at that time.

When the time was 2 pm Efosa arrived at the ShopRite and entered the place, but, before advent entered the place, she didn't know the main location where David was seated because the ShopRite is really big. But, she gave him a phone call and David directed her towards his main location.

When they finally saw each other, he complimented her on her outfit and Efosa was happy about that. Shortly, David called on the attendant and she arrived in a short time. And requested drinks and food. After 2 minutes they were served. David started and led the conversation, Efosa was delighted because the conversation was engaging.

But during the conversation, David asked her out and Efosa said she would think about it. They later ate their meal and left the public place together. When Efosa got home he was really happy because she had a good time with David.

Shortly after she arrived home, David called her to know if she had gotten home safely, and replied she did. The next day, two of her friends showed up, Vicky and Tope. While with her friends, she started sharing her experience with David and she told them he asked him out, but her friends were happy for her as well because they think she has finally found love.

But David was still keeping in touch with Efosa in other to get a response for what he asked of her.

After a week passed by, David called him on Wednesday evening and they talked for a while but David told her he wanted them to link up on Saturday evening at the same

place where they had their launch date previously, ShopRite, for a dinner date and she agreed. When the time finally came, on that Saturday evening, they did as planned and they had an awesome time.

But when the conversation was on, David sought the answer to the request he made from her on their previous date. Efosa kept mute for a while and later revealed that she accepted her proposal. But, unbelievably, David was excited due to the fact that he was expecting her to say yes to her proposal.

David promised never to break her heart. After some hours, they left the place. After some months, David proposed to her again that he wanted to marry her and Efosa was extremely joyous and she said “YES” ..while their relationship was still on, after a month the couple were preparing for the wedding program, they invited everyone they knew to their wedding day.

But, before their wedding day, the couple decided to have a court wedding and they did.

On the day the wedding was planned to be conducted, everybody they invited came to the program and everything went well.

After a few hours of the program, they later left the court for the mansion David bought. inside the mansion, they enjoyed their life and lived a prosperous life. Few years went by, it was this bright sunny day, Efosa and Peter ran into each other in a supermarket where she went shopping.
