Everything happened so quickly. Travis was the first to make a move and right when Ethan started to aim at him Claire pushed his arm and stabbed his leg with a knife that appeared from nowhere.
We rushed in on him and beat him down to the ground. I heard her crying and calling out Levi’s name. Why was she crying for him? The door flew open and Mason appeared in the door. Followed by the rest of the search party, cops and EMTs.
“Claire!” Mason shouted.
“Dad,” she cried as he hugged her.
The cops came over and cuffed Ethan and started asking us questions when I heard Claire shout.
“I’m not a child! He needs my help!”
