Being a vampire is a lonely existence. Harland has walked Phetterea for the last six hundred and sixty years, surviving by stealth and trusting in his brothers. Harland has five brothers that he will lay his life down for without question, without any reasoning behind it. They are his kin, and he protects what is his no matter the cost. We all serve our goddess Selene and we protect her children by killing and collecting the essence of the Croten. Their leader has been trying to destroy all supernatural creatures that are good and stay within the goddess light. King Kachelsis has taken every precaution to insure the safety of his citizens. Once his soul leaves her body and goes into his finding it’s resting place she will become like him. Werewolves are a bite different. They are born, when they find their mates and mark her she will live as long as her wolf does but she will never turn into a wolf herself. The woman who is fated to a wolf does not hold his soul instead she holds something far more important. She holds the secrets of his past. The secrets the goddess has hid from them. Harland hopes that every single one his brothers find the mate they hope to have. He himself wants to have his but is afraid of the repercussions of finding her.
