I was panicking a while ago when he told me that he’ll be going to cut the call and I should sleep! He must have overheard my whines earlier. But of course, I immediately interrupt it with my cute laughs and denied that I was just kidding. That’s very lame…

My little inner voice whispered.

And right now, I was lying on my bed while biting my lips as I could hear his breathing over the phone. Though he didn’t cut the call since I told him not to, and good thing is that, the grumpy mode sides of him are not activated! Not to mention that this is the very first time he called me!...

I was pursing my lips that I couldn’t even say a word right now, my brain cells are just not as cooperative as I had expected!... by the way, shocking that he’s not busy today?

His husky deep voice filled my ears as if he was checking if I’m still breathing here.

" I think you should sleep,"

I pouted. He can't see it anyway.

Since he knows that I've got wounds then I lost count of how many times he asked that.

" It's fine now, I could go to Crisha since it's not hurting anymore." AI simply stated and angled my body on the side.

" Uh-huh, I'll come over to her house later tonight." I simply answered.

I bit my lower lip as I gripped my phone even tighter.

"W-why did you call, anyway?" I asked, my shaking voice was noticeable. I shook my head with my thoughts and pay attention to what will be his answer.

" Sleep, Karina." He answered using his lethal voice with me as if he didn't hear what I had just said earlier.

" No--- hey! I told you I'm not yet sleepy and you're still not answering me!" I snapped at him.

"Brat..." He lowly growled and followed by his low short chuckles.

I mentally roll my eyes at him.

" Oh, please, when the hell are you going to stop me calling like that!" I impatiently rant.

This gorgeous, man here is just possessing the most beautiful different color eyes and body, plus he's in a man bun, overall he's just close to perfection. I may not see him right now but I'm sure that his thick brows a furrowed.

I was pulled back in my senses when I heard him lazily answer.

" Nah," He simply uttered.

" Where are you by the way?" I asked out of my curiosity, it's just that, it's so quiet in his background soo...

" In my condo," Viel answered a lot.

" Condo? Was that the last time we used it?"

I asked as I raised my brows, well, I'm just wondering if he ever brought women on his unit.

I pursed my lips before I asked the other question that I really want a clarification ' 'cause I think I'll be going insane.

" Who's with you then?" I asked.

He answered.

I heard a deep chuckle from him again.

"What?" He snapped. He is surely in a good mood right now.

I was about to answer him when I suddenly yawned and I know he clearly heard that.

" You're sleepy, you should take a nap---"

" Oh, shut up Karina! Sleep." He sounded so serious and so bossy!...

" But, we're still talking," I answered using my cute sexy voice. Yeah, you heard it, cute and sexy.

"There's a next time for that, Karina" He simply said.

I pouted and slowly a wide smile plastered onto my lips as my eyes glistened. He said next time! So it simply means that he'll go to call me!..

I stayed silent for a while and spoke.

"Hmm, okay... But when would you call me?" Asked and attentively waited for him to answer just like a kid who eagerly to her a new story tale.

" Alright." Viel.

I smiled as I looked at the screen of my phone. I already cut the call and I put it on the side mini table.

I smiled and stares at the ceiling and just after a moment I didn't notice that my eyes slowly closed and I fell asleep with the trace of smile on my lips.
