CHAPTER 79

After a couple of minutes, Viel parked his car

In front of my school. The huge italic ' Alexandria's University was written on it.

My phone beeped and when I checked it out was from Crisha... I sighed, she was asking where I am again.

"Thanks," I muttered and looked at Viel who was resting his thick veiny arms on the steering wheel.

"Go now, I'll fetch you later." He implied using his serious tone.

I was taken aback by his statement.

--just what?

" W-what?" I mumbled with my eyebrows and frowned, I have to verify if what I heard wasn't wrong.

"I hate repeating what I already said, Karina." He answered coldly.

"B-but, don't you have other business errands for today?..." I hesitantly asked.

He just throws me a serious gaze which makes my lips quiver...

"I'll fetch you later." He repeated. It's not a question it's a statement as if he's dismissing the topic.

" Go now, Karina. You'll be late." He commanded.

I was speechless the whole time until I get out of his car and there he is. Just silently watching me like he always does, I even wonder what he's thinking...

I close the door of the car and made my way to the side.

" Bye, bye," I smiled and waved at him cutely.

Viel just simply nodded as an answer and with a stoic expression then I watched him drive his car away until it was out of my sight.

I walked passed to every student, I even caught some of the guys staring at me.

" KC!"

In the distance, I saw the crumpled face of Crisha as her arms crossed on her chest.

She didn't even wait for me to be in front of her 'cause she just called my name loudly.

"Shhh, what the hell Crisha?" I spat as I reached at where she was standing.

She raised her eyebrow at me before she rolls her eyeballs.

" Oh, shut up, KC I've been waiting for you! What took you so long? We're you somewhere with your bodyguard?" She said suspiciously.

I pursed my lips.

Oh, maybe she thought I'm with Luka.

I shook my head.

" Oh, whatever, Cha." I chuckled at her wrong assumption.

"Come on, let's go." I grab her arms so we could go to our room.

"Ahah? I knew it! You went you have a thing with your cute bodyguard!"

She exclaimed as she narrowed her eyes at me.

I sighed. This crazy girl.

" Shut up, Crisha! He wasn't I'm with." I said irritatingly.

Her face stilled as her lips formed into an O.

"Oh? Did you use your car now? That's great!" She exclaimed as she let out a low laugh.

"Stupid, you know that I'm not allowed to drive." I fired at her.

We entered our room and guess what? It's empty, maybe we don't have a class for this period.

" Then what? Who's with you-----" she was frowning while asking curiously so I immediately cut her off.

" I was with Viel, okay?" I boredly answered her.

" Oh my God!" She exclaimed loudly as her eyes widens... After she giggled she looked at me like I did something wrong and a smirk formed on her lips.

"Cut it, Cha. It's not what you think it is."

I shook my head at her.

"Don't be in denial KC, you like that hottie...Hmm, I can sense something fishy here." She creepily smiled at me.

I puffed a breath as I rested my back on my seat, it's a good thing that there's no one yet here aside from the two of us. Crisha rested her elbow on the chair and she placed her face on her palms while facing me and she's grinning like an i***t while looking at me as if I am some kind of an interesting subject here in front of her.

" Whatever you say," I roll my eyes at her and tried to close my eyes.

" Oh--- I like that necklace of yours it's cute."

"Yeah, Viel's good at picking----" I stopped in my mid-sentence when I caught Crisha smirk widely.

"Viel, huh?" She playfully said.

I just roll my eyes at her once again.

"Well, that Engr. Is just so hot, handsome, and rich as hell, and not to mention that he's way older than us which is very Ideal for me," Crisha wiggled her brows as she says that dreamily.

I pouted. Yeah, she's right though... He's just very ideal and perfect.

"Right, KC?" She teased me

"Tss, you're so nosy, Cha." I snorted.

" Anyways, I saw Simon yesterday, and that jerk is looking for you." She irritatingly said which make me laugh.

Oh... That's her former crush, the cousin of Viel.

"How're your cousins anyway?" I asked.

" Well, Mike and Sandro were busy as well as Sidro of course." She started lazily.

" I see," I nodded.

Well, they're pretty much busy I know, busy with their careers.

"Hmm, I want some coffee." I absentmindedly muttered.

"Then go and buy some, but for me as well." Cha smiled at me sweetly and make puppy eyes.

I roll my eyes at her.

I remember that my puppy eyes never work at Viel.

" No way,"

I gave her my bored look.

"You're no fun," she mumbled while pouting.

"Who cares." I snap at her.

We're just like this, rolling our eyes at each other and it was a part of our everyday routine... It's just great to have someone you're very comfortable with and someone to trust.

Just after a moment, Crisha's face lit up as if something came amazing Idea came to her mind.

" How about, we'll go clubbing later?" She happily said as her eyes glistened.

" Hmm, not today..." I responded as I lead on my chair.

" What again?" She asked in dismay.

Well, I want to have fun too especially since I'm fully okay now after that accident.

But Viel said He'll fetch me so...

"I'll go straight home," I simply said.

"Uh-huh? You don't need Luka, I can drop you home after partying you know." She implied and flips her hair.

"Uhmm, maybe some other day, Cha," I said to end the topic.

Crisha just shook her head and said okay after.

Well, We can go clubbing in the next day just not today, I'm looking forward to seeing Viel and he'll gonna fetch me.
