I ran to the diner that the old folks always gathered at and I pushed the door open in my wolf form and walked in looking around the room before I shifted back. I was unfazed by my nude and most of the people were as well but there were a few gasps. "I'm sorry for my current indecency but I'm really on a time crunch right now so can you please tell me why you called me in here."

"We need you to stay on good terms with all of the alphas ok?" I heard ap ap say from the table near the windows. "The alpha of the Golden horizon pack is very cocky, we believe that he will try to flex his strength at the tournament since he ensured his participation in it."

"Oh ya I already know, their pack is way too strong to just wanna come for a friendly competition. " I sighed already knowing where this conversation was going.

"Just .. be polite and don't… just don't press his buttons. Apparently he's easily agitated." The woman that was with ap ap when Nathan and I came up with all of this spoke up.

"Oh don't worry! I'll have everything handled!" I smiled at them all. I heard a lot of sighs of disbelief. I don't blame any of them, I was completely planning on targeting the other alphas in the tournament. "Ok if that's all I have to get back now! I've got to have brunch with the Shadow Blood pack!" I waved to them before running out and shifting back. I ran back to the pack house as fast as I could. As I reached the door Nathan opened it. I shifted back and as I walked in I put my clothes in. But when I walked in I'm in the process of clipping my bra, the Shadow Blood packs beta was walking down the stairs and froze when seeing me. Nathan burst out laughing and clipped my bra for me and handed me my dress.

"What's up dude?" Nathan asked casually.

The beta bowed and covered his eyes. "I apologize for interrupting you alpha Jenifer!"

This time I started laughing. "Chill beta George, I had to go check on something, we are not fucking." I was practically wheezing. Nathan was doubled over almost crying because he was laughing so hard.

George blushed a bit as he stood up straight. "O-oh-" I slipped my dress on and pushed my boobs into place while Nathan stood up still laughing and zipped my dress for me.

"Trust me man if you are gonna survive here you're gonna have to get used to people casually being naked here."

"Ya even the vampires and witches are naked half the time." I tried to say without laughing.

He just nodded slowly and started to say something but I was pulled into a mindlink by Justin. "The Golden horizon pack is entering pack grounds now."

"Ok, he's just in time for brunch, you can come back to the packhouse now, the Violet Night pack won't be here until late tonight."

"Ok Jen." He said before I closed the mindlink and looked up to see both George and Nathan staring at me.

"Sorry, what?" I asked, confused.

"Girl you look like your contemplating murder." Nathan laughed.

"Oh, no I'm not. My wolf is just pissy because my mates aren't here." I shrugged

"Oh? Where is your mate?" Ryan asked as he walked down the stairs with Alexis.

"They are at their pack." I looked over to them.

"Will they be attending the ceremony?" Alexis asked curiously.

"No. They live too far away."

"Wait, how far away do they live?" Ryan looked at me concerned.

"Nine hours away." I heard Justin yawn as he walked in.

"You know that's not healthy for you or your wolf-" Ryan crossed his arms

"Oh I know. Serena is giving me hell for sending them home." I said bitterly, making sure she heard. Suddenly I was picked up and thrown over someone's shoulder. I looked at the back of their head and recognized it as Justin.

"Please excuse my alpha and I." He said politely before carrying me upstairs. We just kept walking until I was thrown down on my bed. "What the hell are you wearing!?" He yelled pointing at my clothes.

I sighed and sat up. "A dress."

"I can see that!" He growled as he went through my closet. "Why is it a cocktail dress?" He grabbed my light pink floor length dress that had sparkles all over it.

"Because I need them to think I'm immature. " I said simply as I watched him pluck in my hair straightener.

"Is it really that hard for you to build a relationship of trust? " He pulled me up out of the bed and pushed me into the bathroom to change.

"No. I just can't trust them until I know them." I rolled my eyes and changed into the dress. He walked into the bathroom and tied the straps of the dress. It only had one strap that was to be tied around my neck. My entire back was opened and so were my sides. He straightened my hair then put it in loose beach wave curls."I swear you're more of a girl than I am."

"Just because I know how to dress myself doesn't mean that I'm a girl." He rolled his eyes.

I laughed. "Meet me downstairs." He nodded and went to his room while I went to the first floor just to hear the doorbell ring. I opened the door and smiled. "Good morning Alpha Hendrix. Thank you for coming." His man was huge. He was about 6'5 had blonde hair that was shaved at the sides and he looked to be about 25 years old. He was wearing a black suit and looked like he could beat up an army single handedly. Actually he looked like he wanted to murder me. I like him, he's going to be fun.

"Where is the alpha girl?" He demanded loudly and growled slightly at me.

"Actually-" I heard Ryan start but I cut him off as I heard Justin walking down the stairs.

"Right here!" I signed back to Justin who looked at me confused for a moment.

"Good morning Alpha Hendrix." Justin greeted as he moved to the bottom of the stairs.

Hendrix pushed past me and walked to Justin, firmly shaking his hand. I turned to see Ryan Alexis and George giving me a confused look and I just smiled kindly and shut the door. "It's nice to meet you" hendrix was stiff and everything he said was forced

"Please allow my sister to show you to your room, once you have your stuff away you are welcome to join us to eat." Justin smiled a bit at him.

Hendrix sighed. "Very well then. My Beta will be in shortly." He started walking up the stairs, I caught up easily and winked at everyone as we went up.

"So, Alpha Hendrix, if you don't mind me asking… How old are you?"

"Mind your own f*****g business bitch." He barked out.

I sigh to myself. "Wow no wonder my brother was so weary of inviting you." I saw him straighten up with pride and I smirked. "You are an arrogant cocky asshole that's had everything handed to them on a silver plate their entire life." His head turned to me so quickly I swear he got whiplash. I just kept walking, my innocent smile never once fading.

"Do you know who you're talking to!?" He yelled so loudly that everyone in the whole packhouse could hear him.

"No! Do you know who you're talking to!?" I yell back just as loud. "How dare you come into MY pack and assume that someone else is the alpha!" I growled and noticed a couple people sticking their heads out their doors to see what was happening. "So tell me why Alpha Hendrix! Why the hell did you immediately assume that I was not the alpha then showed me great disrespect!"

He looked taken aback but he quickly recovered and growled at me. "Because you're too weak to be an alpha! You are a mere Luna at best! Where is your mate b***h!"

Serena was growling in my mind. She was very much offended. I laughed out loud. My laughter only grew when I finally stopped I suddenly hit him in the stomach as hard as I could. He tried to move out of the way, but wasn't fast enough. Him moving back just put more momentum into my punch. He coughed a bit but stood up as if unfazed. "Would you like to test your theory?" I smiled at him.

"Who do you think you are!?" He tried to punch me so I side stepped him and grabbed his hand flipping him over my back, unfortunately, he brought me down with him. I growled and snapped my jaw at them until we were suddenly taken away from each other roughly. A cold tingling sensation covered my body. I looked up to see Konner with his hands up staring at us, the panic was evident in his features, his family moved into the packhouse because they have too many kids for the small homes in town. There are 6 of them. Michael was standing behind Konner. Michael lived in town but he was almost always with Konner. Michael looked pissed that we disturbed them.

I sighed. "Thank you Konner, you can release us now." I said while reeling Serena back in.

'You should have let me kill him!' She growled in my head.

'As much as that would be entertaining, we need to use him to make a treaty with him.' I yawned as I felt my control come back to my body and I hardly caught myself before face planting. Stupid heels. I stood up straight and looked at alpha Hendrix who was glaring daggers at me. I ignored him and turned to them both "I apologize for disturbing you both." I mindlinked Justin to have Nathan come up here.
