Chapter 36

Back to New York. Back to Juilliard and back to my life without Sam Evans. Hold up, what the hell I'm talking about?

It's been two weeks I went back to New York and everything is still the same. My only one friend also boyfriend here is only Sean and Junior actually but I dont understand cat language.

One thing that I hate the most since I went to New York is I cant forget about Sam. He is kinda stuck in my mind and I hate this. Besides that what he has done to defended me in front of all the glee club.

My phone is suddenly ringing. I walk to my table and answer that phone calls from Finn.

"What's up afro the bro?" I laugh.

"Who the hell told you to call me that?" Finn laughs.

"Puck. He called Jake afro the halfbro so I followed him. What's happen, Finn?"

"The kids back to New Directions and we lost our choir room but principal Figgins asked me about dance before christmas. Do you have any idea?" Finn asks.

"Sadie Hawkins? It's a great dance before the christmas. You can decorate the gymnasium with full of snow and swan lake and many things in white. The girls are allowed to ask the guy whoever they want." I said.

"That's a great idea. You wanna come for that and help me?" Finn asks.

"I really want to but I cant." I sigh.

"Sam and Blaine also trying to find something. They said that there was a something strange with The Warblers nowadays and that new leader really kinda strange." Finn says.

"I really want to but I cant leave Sean alone again and again." I sigh.

"Come for a week here and we will get our glee club together. By the way have you heard from Kurt? He got his NYADA auditions." Finn says happily.

"He made it. I dont know maybe I will come to Bushwick and meet him." I said over the phone.

"That's fine. But please come here and help us. We need you."

"Glad that I cant see your baby crying face right now. I'll try my best to talk with Sean okay."

"He is become your number one now." Finn sighs.

"No, you're still my number one."

"Alright, I have to go. I'll call you later."

"See you afro the bro." I laugh and hung up the phone.

I place the phone back to my table and sit down on the sofa near the window with Junior sleeping next to me.

Honestly, I really want to go to Lima for that Sadie Hawkins dance and help Finn with the glee club because I know that he cant control that alone.

Sam's POV

"Sam, we need to talk." Brittany suddenly standing next to my locker.

"About what?" I raise my eyebrows.

"I guess, I cant continue this fake relationship because Brittana's fans started to bully you on f*******:. I dont want it happened to you besides that I miss my sweet lady kisses with Santana." Brittany let out a sigh.

"Besides that when they both not here we dont have to do that fake dating things. So we break up now?" I raise my eyebrows at Brittany.

"You can say that because I'm gonna call Santana and you can go back to Emily." Brittany grins at me and walks off.

I just smile at her and shut my locker. Go back together with someone who already have a boyfriend.

It's just since she went here for sectionals and her speech that day is still stuck in my mind. I miss her like crazy like when we were dating.

I let out a sigh and turn my way to the history classroom. Maybe looking at Finn will make me forget about Emily a bit. Or at least I will stop missing her.

I enter the history classroom and Finn is standing on the front and holding a marker.

"So for this week assignment is: Ladies's Choice!" Finn says to us.

"What?" Artie frowns.

"Because we will have Sadie Hawkins dance this weekend." Finn smiles at me.

"What? No!" Tina says happily.

"And yes, the girls can ask any guy you want to have dance with you. I came out with this idea and I'm proud with this. No kidding, Emily was the one who came out with this idea. So McKinley High Treasure Club, your job is to make this Sadie Hawkins dance become perfect." Finn grins at us.

"This is amazing! Finally girl has their power." Tina clapping happily.

"Who run the world? Girls!" Brittany yells.

"Alright, alright this is a good assignment right?" Finn grins at us.

"Wondering who want to take me to Sadie Hawkins dance." I said and turn my face at Brittany.

"No, Sam. We broke up and I'm gonna ask Blaine Warbler to go to the Sadie Hawkins with me." Brittany grins.

"Me?" Blaine frowns.

"Yeah Sam and I broke up and I just wanna go to the Sadie Hawkins dance with someone who is gay and he is Blaine Warbler." Brittany grins.

"Blaine is mine!" Tina protest.

"No, Tina." Blaine shake his head.

"No, I will go to Sadie Hawkins dance with Blaine and you can ask another guy, Brittany or you can go back together with Sam." Tina protest.

"No way!" Brittany frowns.

I just let out a sigh and roll my eyes. Two girls fighting for a gay guy. Well actually Blaine is such a handsome gay.

"Is there any posibility your sister will go back home?" Ryder raises his hand and asks Finn.

"I-I dont know. Well, maybe." Finn says to Ryder.

So Ryder is still trying to get Emily. Sorry not sorry, dude. If she will back home, she'd probably ask me for that. Not you.

Brittany and Tina still arguing each other about who will go to the Sadie Hawkins with Blaine. I just frown at them and roll my eyes. For now, I just really hope that Emily will go back home.

Emily's POV

I'm laying my body on the sofa near the window while reading my book and Junior is laying on my belly. He is just another lazy fat cat.

"I guess you better go back home with mom, Finn, and Burt than being here because I'm afraid that you will getting fatter and fatter each day." I said to Junior.

I close my book and place it on my table and take Junior from my belly and place him on my chest and facing me.

"You dont love me anymore? Remember that I take you care since you were little until this big, Junior." I rub his fluffy body.

Junior stand up from my chest and moves his place and get his head on my neck. I know this move. It means that he understand what I said to him.

"I promise you, I will learn about cat language okay. And if I have a baby one day, I will always be with you. Dont worry about that. You will always be my baby." I said to Junior.

"I heard someone is talking to a cat again." Sean walks in.

"Bored and day off is sucks actually." I let out a sigh.

"You know that you can follow me to my college if you want right." Sean says to me.

"But I just have my quality time with the love of my life, Junior." I said to Sean.

"Babe, I have something to tell you." Sean says to me.

"What?" I raise my eyebrows and sit up.

"I have to go to LA for Arts Fair. And I will go there in two days." Sean says to me.

"That's cool. For how long you wanna stay in LA?" I ask him.

"One month. Is it okay if I have to leave you alone?" Sean asks me.

"Actually Finn asked me to come home for helping him with the glee club. But that's fine. You can go to LA and reach your dream. You always want to join that arts fair right? Now you got that chance." I smile at Sean.

"What about you go back home? So you wont be alone and you can bring Junior home. I guess he is desperate in love since he never meet any other pet or cat." Sean smiles back at me.

"Babe, you have a great idea. But you let me to go back home?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Why not, my queen? That's better than you lonely here because I will leave you to LA besides that you can celebrate Christmas in your home and I will celebrate Christmas with my family afterwards." Sean pinch my cheeks.

"You're the best boyfriend ever." I smile at Sean.

"I know I am." Sean smirks at me. "Alright, I wanna take a bath because this sweat bothering me." Sean says and walks to the bathroom.

Yeay I can go home and attend that Sadie Hawkins dance. A dance that I've never been in before and I dont mind if I dont have any date because I will go there with Finn. One thing that I dont care with Sam and Brittany because I just wanna have fun. That's it.

Two days later | Sam's POV

Everyone is like get in pair for the Sadie Hawkins dance just like today is Valentines Day.

Talking about V-Day. God, I miss her. We officially dating on Valentines and next week is Christmas then New Year then Valentines Day.

"Sam, you already have a date for the Sadie Hawkins?" Blaine asks me.

"My heart said that Emily will come home so I guess, I will have one." I said to Blaine.

"That's not make any sense." Blaine rolls his eyes. "Besides she will ask Ryder not you." Blaine simply said.

"No way. She will ask me not Ryder." I shake my head.

"Dont be so confidence with that." Blaine simply said.

"Blaine, can I borrow a lipbalm? Sometimes I feel like someone want to kiss me." I said to Blaine.

"Nobody want to kiss you." Blaine rolls his eyes and give me a chocolate lip balm.

"This is Emily's favorite taste and my favorite one actually so I can kiss her over and over again." I said to Blaine and wear that lipbalm on my lips. "Thanks." I give the lipbalm back to Blaine.

"Stripper." Blaine rolls his eyes.

"Hey, no one is allowed to call me that except Emily okay!" I protest at Blaine.

"And you proud that she called you stripper?" Blaine frowns at me.

"Because the way she called me stripper was different." I grin at Blaine.

Blaine and I just keep walking until we saw Finn walks out from his office with a girl who really looks familiar.

She wear a blue jeans, ankle boots, and a leather jacket also a shawl. From behind and her hair is really look like Emily.

I stop my way and frowns. I rub my eyes and pinch my cheek. No, I'm not dreaming. They keep walking until they're gone from my gaze.

"What?" Blaine asks me.

"You see that girl? You see the girl with Finn who just went out from his office?" I ask Blaine.

"Yeah and why?" I raise my eyebrows.

"She really looks like Emily." I said to Blaine.

"You must be dreaming or crazy." Blaine says to me. "Come on, we have glee club now." Blaine takes my tshirt and walk leads me.

"What if that girl is really her?" I ask Blaine.

"Well, you're lucky for now but I'll make sure that she wont ask you." Blaine simply said.

"Ugh she will." I simply said.

We keep walking in the hallways until we enter the science room for the glee club. It's sucks when glee club lose the place for rehearsal and our rehearsal place is moving.

The boys already here and we are waiting for the girls performance since yesterday Tina was the one who asked Blaine for the Sadie Hawkins but Blaine havent answer her yet.

All of sudden, there are some steps walks in. I turn my face to the door and Finn walks in. I let out a sigh and turn my face back to the ground until Blaine touch my elbow.

I turn my face and see Emily is walks in with holding some music sheets. My gaze follows her step until she sit down on a table next to Finn.

"You're home." Blaine giggles at Emily.

"Decided to have Christmas at home and Finn needed my help so I'm here." She giggles.

"Okay, ten bucks. That girl was really her!" I whisper at Blaine.

"We didnt bet okay." Blaine shake his head.

The girls and Ryder finally walks in. My gaze follows Ryder's step and he walks closer to Emily then sit down next to her and smiling at her. Oh hell no.

"Ten bucks, she is going to ask Ryder." Blaine whisper at me.

"But ten bucks to me if she asks me." I whisper back at Blaine.

"Alright guys, we only get about twenty minutes to borrow this class so the girls make your choice." Finn says to us.

"Hit it!" Brittany said and all the girls are standing and dancing on the front.

"Well, Sam and I broke up because he is still crazy about you and now I want to go to the Sadie Hawkins with Blaine Warbler because he is the only one gay person here." Brittany said.

"Brittany...." I mumbled and roll my eyes.

"I was about to ask Blaine to that dance with me since we have so much thing in commons." Emily protest.

"Alright guys, time's up. We can continue at 4.30 before coach Beiste use the locker room." Finn says to us.

"Emily really knows how to make me jealous by using you, damn!" I whisper at Blaine.

"That's stupid!" Blaine simply said and walk off.

I let out a sigh and take my bagpack then walk off from this science classroom.

Emily's POV

"Blaine, would you go to the Sadie Hawkins with me?" Brittany grins at Blaine.

I gasped and frown. Wait, Britt has a boyfriend and why she asked Blaine? I was about to ask Blaine actually.

"Wait, Britt. Arent you supposed to be ask Sam?" I frown at Brittany.

"Well, Sam and I broke up because he is still crazy about you and now I want to go to the Sadie Hawkins with Blaine Warbler because he is the only one gay person here." Brittany said.

I raise my eyebrows and turn my face a bit at Sam and he embarassed and trying to hide this. I know there must be something. Is it Sam and Brittany only fake dating to make me jealous? If it yes, how dare you to do that, Sam Evans?

"Alright guys, time's up. We can continue at 4.30 before coach Beiste use the locker room." Finn says to us.

I went out from this science room. I dont see any flirtationship between Sam and another girl but the guy named Ryder kind of scared me. I need to find someone to go to the Sadie Hawkins before he force me.

"Blaine please go to the Sadie Hawkins with me." I begged at Blaine as he is standing in front of his locker.

"If I go with you what about Tina and Brittany?" Blaine raises his eyebrows.

"I promise you, I will talk to Kurt and make you both get back together." I said to Blaine.

"Thank you, sweety but no." Blaine shakes his head and shut his locker.

Blaine suddenly takes my phone away. Sam holds my hand and cover my mouth with his hand and then they both bring me out from this hallways and enter an empty classroom.

"You guys want to rape me here?" I push Sam's hand away and yell at them.

"Who the hell Adam Crawford?" Blaine frowns as he looked at my phone.

I take my phone from his hand. "That wasnt polite to read someone's text message. I wont answer unless you want to go to the Sadie Hawkins dance with me." I grin at Blaine.

"There are a lot of hot straight guy in this school but why you ask Blaine?" Sam frowns at me.

"Because I dont wanna ask you. I'm playing it cool." I simply said.

"What?" Sam raises his eyebrows at me. "You-you can ask me and I will say yes for that."

Blaine suddenly clears his throat. "I guess, I'm just a cameo here, alright I have to go." Blaine says and about to walk off.

"You both kidnapped me here and I wont go before Blaine say yes." I answer.

"Sean went to LA for one month with his arts fair, I got month off so I went home besides that Finn needed me to help with the glee club." I said to Sam.

I just giggle and turn my head down until I turn my face back at Sam and he just smiling at me while take something from his bag and he shows his iPad to Blaine.

"Okay what's that?" Blaine asks Sam.

"This is Hunter Clarington two years ago. Look how skinny his head is." Sam shows Blaine a picture. I walk to them and take look at the evidence Sam had. "Okay, this is him now. Look how much thicker his head is!" Sam says to Blaine.

"So maybe he started working out." Blaine frowns at Sam.

"What, doing skull-widening exercises? Dude, human growth hormone! HGH! Same thing happened to Mark McGwire And Kirstie Alley and Drew Carey and Star Jones and Aretha Franklin, Cedric the Entertainer." Sam says to Blaine.

"Working out wont change the way your head looks like especially it's about the skull. But for me especially, he is look too mature for his age. I mean, he is senior right? But his face looks like he is older than his age. Grow up fast? Not graduating? Or something?" I raise my eyebrows.

"Guys, this is still not a strong evidence." Blaine shakes his head. "We need something more than this one." Blaine says.

"You mean like when Mike and I already can found out what Sebastian put to your slushie before Santana got the recording?" I raise my eyebrows at Blaine.

"Dude, something strange with them." Sam frowns at Blaine.

"But we still need more evidence. I will try my best to call Trent." Blaine says and walks off.

"Nobody trusts me." Sam sighs.

When I saw their performance on the last regionals I already can see that there was something strange with them especially that Hunter guy and Sebastian really used a lot of smirk and they do new choreography that they never did before. I mean, we all know about The Warblers since Blaine was the leader there and then that chipmunks until this another Benjamin Button." I said to Sam.

"Benjamin Button?" Sam raises his eyebrows.

"Yeah, from a movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, a man who looks really like a granpa when he was born and then when he is getting older, he really looks younger until he died just like a baby. And the fact that this case is also happening in India, there was a four years old kid, I'm forget his name but he really looks like a old man, by the old man he looks like a granpa even older than my granpa, I guess. This is an illness and it's happening maybe only for one from one million people in this world and the scientist havent found any right treatment for these people." I said to Sam.

"You know what? I guess, your parents was right when they said that they want you to be doctor, scientist, or an astronout because you really smart." Sam giggles.

"I might join the dance school but I'm still study. I love science and psychology. Actually I have a book about HGH but I left in New York but I guess, we can find the online ebook or let's find it on Library. Come on!" I said to Sam and takes his hand.

Sam then walk next to me until we dont realize that we holding our hand each other. I dont know why but I felt like I dont wanna leave his hand and Sam is still holding my hand.

We then walk enter the library. I walk to the online computer and sit down on a seat there and looking for the books.

"I just want to tell you that when you want to get that book which mean that you get into this investigation." Sam says to me.

"That's okay. I want to help Finn to get the glee club back and I love mystery and I can do the Sherlock Holmes again even though without Mike." I giggle.

"Being a detective is something that I always wanted." Sam giggles.

"Me too honestly and we can do the detective things now." I giggle and turn my face back at the computer.

Sam just giggle and still standing behind me until he lean his chin ontop my head. "This one." Sam says and points at the computer.

I just clicking the book he want to read. I dont know why I feel like my heart beats so fast right and I'm afraid that I will get heart attack. Ugh, be cool, Emily. Be cool.
