"Good luck!" the admin said to Celestine with a big smile on her face, made Celestine happy. She mouthed Thank you and left the admin desk. She is going to take her Board exam today, so she arrived early to avoid being late.
She was waiting for this day. To pass the board and to become one of the top nurse in Ramirez Hospital. Ramirez Hospital is one of the famous and largest hospital in the country owned by Ramirez family. Ramirez family was a family of doctors. Soon the hospital will inherit by Caide Ramirez as soon as he finished his study and became a doctor.
While walking, she remembered that Caide wanted her to work at his Hospital when he became a Doctor because Caide wanted to see her and work with her everyday. He wanted to have someone who would help him and take care of those people in need. She needs Celestine. Being a doctor is a busy job. He might only spend less time with her if he started his job, that's why if Celestine become a nurse, he could still be with her even at work, but that thing they promised to each other might never happened because of their situation.
She smiled when she reminisced those past memories but also felt sad when she realized that those promises might never became true, even if Caide finally remembers her, if his feeling is different, nothing could make sense. She read some cases like this when Caide got into an accident.
She heaved sigh and shook her head. She does not want to be bother by their past memories. Not even today.
She decided to find her room because there is only twenty minutes left before the exam starts. But while still finding, she saw two familiar faces not too far while walking at the hallway of the building. She stopped. Her heart sank when she recognized the two familiar faces. She remembered that Elise was also a nursing student with a low IQ. It is a fact.
Caide and Elise. It was them.
She saw Caide cheering and saying good luck to Elise. She felt the pain in her heart when she saw how Elise kissed Caide's cheeks. It disgusted her. Seeing them together already breaks her heart. What more about seeing them holding hands.
"That should be me, not her", said Celestine then decided to continue to walk.
It made her really pissed off seeing Elise were taking advantage of Caide's condition. Elise poisoned his mind and possibly putting more lies to Caide's head to block Celestine from his life.
She decided to go to Caide to talk, however someone approached her and hold her wrist.
"E-excuse me?" she turned and saw a sweet smile from a lady that whom looked like her age.
She was elegant wearing branded clothes. She scanned the lady from head to toe and it caught her attention because of the similar style she used to wear. It was gorgeous!
"(confused) Y-yes? How can I help you?" Celestine asked while the lady was still holding her wrist. It was kind of familiar.
"Hi! I am Xavia. Uhhh, actually... we are schoolmates. I always saw your name at the news board at school being the top student during exams. But I cannot find my assigned room. Can you help me?" Xavia's words made Celestine embarrassed.
She did not know that she was famous for being a top student around the campus. The lady showed her cute face that made Celestine agreed to help her.
"Ohh, of course. S-sure. Let me see you form" she said while smiling. Celestine looked Xavia's form. She then found her room number.

"Oh. Coincidence! We are on the same room. Come on, follow me. I'm about to go there right now. It's only 10 minutes left", she said then smiled to the girl.
"Thank you! (then they started walking) By the way I wanted to know your name. It's sad that I don't approach or talk to you before. Can I know your name? And I would like to treat you after taking the exam for helping me".
Xavia seemed to like Celestine the moment she approached her. Celestine tried to decline Xavia's offer but Xavia's still insisted to do so, and in the end she agreed.
While talking to Xavia, Celestine had notice that she a friendly, talkative, and optimistic.
"Good luck to both of us", Xavia said cheerfully while doing putting her hands together to pray.
Finally, they arrived at their respective room. They both entered and take the exam. It takes a lot of time to finish the exam.
"Yes, finally!", Xavia shouted as soon as she went outside of the room. Meanwhile, Celestine's also done answering the exam and passed it to the proctor.
"I never thought I could answer all the questions within 50 minutes", said Celestine while getting her phone to check for notifications.
"Yeah, I feel the same way", then a message has received by Xavia.
"(read the message) Oh... Celestine, can you wait for me at the parking lot? I am going to the restroom first. By the way, my brother's already there. Tell him that I went to the restroom". Celestine nodded and immediately went to the parking lot.
She felt her neck stiffed and tried to massage it. For her, the exam was not really hard because she knew all the answeres from the questions. She already tackled the topic before. She even studied some of those in advance before the actual discussion of their subject professors.
She's now in the parking lot. There are only two cars left. One is the red sports car and the other is a black Ferrari. However, she already knew the owner of the red car.
It was Caide's. Caide bought it with her during his 18th birthday and the plate card was their anniversary. She smiled because Caide still never changed the plate card.
Yet, at the same time, felt sad because Caide once promised to her that he would definitely wait for her after taking the board exam. Sadly, it was not her that he is waiting for but, Elise.
She did not saw Caide inside the car. She looks at the black Ferrari and thought that it was Xavia's brother's car.
She was about to leave when she heard the voice of Elise calling her name. She saw Elise holding Caide's hand and pulling him towards her.
Caide and her eyes both met but Caide avoided her gaze.
"Oh, Celestine! I did not know that you're also here to take the board exam. How was the exam? I'm sure it was difficult for you? Anyway, good luck with the result". Elise raised her left brow. She wanted to make Celestine mad in front of Caide.
"Elise, my friend, I would never be the top student in our department if it is hard, you know. You should be worried about yours. Right, Caide?". Celestine smiled and stopped herself from making a scene of wanting to pull Elise's hair, while Caide hold Elise's waist.
"Hmm. By the way, why are you here? Don't tell me you're still after my boyfriend." Elise said, made Celestine confused.
Wait, boyfriend? Since when? Then Celestine smiled sarcastically.
"Ohhh...", she uttered with expectation while still doing a sarcastic face.
