Maxine turned around to see who was speaking to her,she saw the same woman that she had spoken to at the void,"it's you again,"she said casually.

"Yeah,it's me again.We now meet formally,"the woman said.

Maxine rolled her eyes,"are we now in an office?"

The woman just looked at her and turned around and walked towards the villa,Maxine took it as a cue to follow behind,"have you been living this comfortably all this while?"

"Yes,"she replied as she opened the door.

"How comes there is a villa inside the ring?"Maxine asked in a confused tone.

"Your great grandmother used her powers to build the house,she always said that it will soon be beneficial to anyone who uses the ring.You can fill the aura in this area,it is quite dense,"the woman said.

Maxine nodded in agreement ,there was a very dense aura that she felt entering deep in her bones,when she breathed in,she felt like she was breathing an extra clean and fresh air,the air was very refreshing but once it enters your bones,one would fill very different,"why is the air so nice?"

"This aura are the powers from the five people who had the chance to be chosen by this ring,but only your great grandma had the idea of building this place so that it could absorb the powers after death."The woman opened another door leading to the back of the house,"After one died,the ring absorbed the spirit of the person,this area was vast,there weren't anything around,anyone who came inside the ring only thought of meditating and nothing else,but once Maria,your great grandma came in,she built the house and found a technique of transferring the powers that the ring had absorbed from those who had already died and separated them into different sections."

Maxine was absorbing all the information that was given to her by the woman,she became more interested in the information that she was being given that whenever part she didn't understand, she could ask questions,"now I need you to stay here and absorb all the powerful auras in this place,the more power you take the stronger you become."

"After gaining powers the powers,will I have to go back?"Maxine asked happily.

"No, you will have a few more years for the powers to be properly absorbed in your body,"she paused for a while then said,"about four to five years."

Maxine gasped,"four to five years?"

"Yes,that is like five months in the normal world,"the woman said."Time here flows faster than in your world."

Maxine gasped again,that was really great,she can have enough time then.Maxine frowned,"by the way,how did you get here if the ring did not choose you?And do you have a name?"

"After Maria built this place,she used most of her powers and her health started becoming poor,and when she knew she was about to die,she used the last bit of power to create me from her hairpin,and let me stay here as a protector and guide the next people who will be chosen by the ring,"she paused then said,"so I don't have a name.No one has ever cared to give me a name or ask for my name."

"Okay then,can I give you a name?"

"Whatever,"after she said that,she snapped her fingers and Maxine disappeared.

When Maxine opened her eyes again,she found herself still in the office,she tried to stand up but her feet were too numb to bear.Right then,Father Maxwell and Mother Superior entered the room with packed dishes in their hands.She quickly stood up and even forgot the numbness she was feeling,she ran towards the packed food and quickly opened it and started eating as if she never ate for a whole year.

Suddenly,she remembered something,in her previous life,she did not perform well but still ended up in good university,she didn't know how that happened,so she decided to ask indirectly,"Father Maxwell,what if I fail the exams and I don't get the chance to end up in the university of my choice?"

"We will just go out of the way,"he relied.

Maxine nodded,she had guessed correctly,in her past life,she went through that famous university from the back door.That was because of her foolishness,she let people trample over her and made a joke out of her,but this time,she won't let anyone take her life."Father Maxwell,Mother Superior,I want to go exile for a while,"she put a spoonful of rice and beef and chewed it for a while only to realize the meat wasn't tender,"Father, where did you buy this meat,i feel like I am chewing gum!"She said frustratedly.

Father Maxwell snorted,"as if you can cook."

Maxine pouted,everyone in this place knows how she cannot cook,everytime she tried to cook, it always came out as a mess,"what's so good about cooking?Anyway, Father Maxwell ,I will disappear for seven and a half months,could you find an excuse for me?"She took a serviette,and took out the beef from her mouth covered it with the serviette and then threw it in the trash can,her brows were furrowed in annoyance."I will cook for myself next time."

This sentence made them burst into laughter,"Maxine you know the last time you cooked for me and Father Maxwell spanish omelette,we had to spare the whole day going to the washroom!"

"That omelette was so dark that I wondered if you had added food colour in it,"as they spoke,they bursted out in laughter,she had never seen them laughing out so freely and openly before that she found herself laughing, at least the walls were sound proof.

She felt great laughing , especially laughing wholeheartedly with people who had no malicious thoughts.

After laughing for a while,they suddenly became serious,"Father,when I come back,I will take the college entry exams and then start dealing with the business issues."

"Okay,"he replied.

"As for now,you will have to gather information about every employee at the Johnsones perfume industry, and Mother Superior,help me gather information on my mothers jewelry industry and is there someone you trust at the mining industry in both Russia and Africa."

"In Africa there is Hussein and in Russia we have Andrew,"Mother Superior replied.

"Great,take this few months to contact them an gain every personal information on everyone including account information,when am back,we will start organizing the team."Maxine said as she stood up,"Now, I am going to offload the excess oil in the washrooms and disappear,"she winked at them and left.
