Chapter 7: Scotland

...........One year and 8 months later.............

I sighed as I looked into the mirror, my black hair was pulled back into a fishtail braid and my skin seemed to be darker than usual. I was wearing a baby blue crop top and white jean shorts, my all black converse felt foreign on my feet. I used a bobby pin and pulled back my now nose length bangs that I regret getting cut. I left the bathroom with my toothbrush and set it in the last bag I needed to finish packing. I pulled my phone off the charger and put it in my back pocket, then put the chord in the bag. I looked around my room one last time before grabbing my bag and walking down to the sleek escalade and putting my bag in the back seat. 

"All set?" A voice said from behind me, I turned and saw Zenon looking down at me.

"All set." I said taking a deep breath. "Tommy?" 

"They are just finishing up." He said kindly I nodded before bowing at him and walking to Thomas's dorm, he was standing outside talking to someone with a scowl on his face.

"Now that you're leaving do I have a shot at Maya?" The rich colomian voice asked. "She must be one fine piece of ass..." He was stopped by Thomas's fist in his face. I walked over and ignored Matias and looked at Thomas's enclosed fist. 

"You shouldn't have hit him." I said, he looked like he was about to speak so I held my hand up to silence him. "I heard what he said, I said you shouldn't have hit him, but I'm glad you did." I said standing on my toes and placing a soft kiss on his lips. "By the way Matias, even if I weren't going with Thomas, you wouldn't stand a chance." I said looking at the wolf who was now standing his eyes dark with rage. 

"You'll regret that." He hissed before he stormed away.

"Are you kids ready?" Samuel said standing next to a man who was a bit taller than he was, his hair was a dirty blonde color and his eyes were brown like Thomas's. He and Thomas were around the same height, I noticed they also shared and nose and thin yet soft looking lips, both had a rectangular face. 

"We're ready Alpha." I said interlacing my fingers with Tommy's. 

"Please, only call me Alpha in formal meetings. You can use my name Maya, you as well Thomas." He said looking at us. 

"Thanks Flint." Thomas said with a smirk. "We'll see you soon Pop." He gave Samuel a hug. I smiled at him, I was so happy I was able to join them in Scotland, our second adventure together. 

"C'mere Maya." Samuel said holding his arms out. "You keep my grandson in check." He whispered. 

"We'll balance each other out." I said back. We let go and I climbed into the SUV, Thomas climbed in behind me and Flint behind him, I could tell he was squished in the middle so I climbed into his lap and gave him room to spread his legs out. "Better?" I asked. 

"Much." He said smirking. Flint chuckled and waved at us when we looked over at him. 

"It's strange that you two are already so close, and you can't even feel the full pull of the mate bond." 

"Mmmm." Thomas just hummed putting his face in my shoulder. 

.........18 hours later..............

I was passed out on Thomas's lap when I felt us cross a barrier, I yawned and stretched the best I could in the confined car. Thomas chuckled as he woke up and stretched.

"You're so f*****g adorable." I smiled at him. Since he had turned 18 about a month earlier he complimented the littlest things, not that I was complaining. He toned it down a bit after he had a chat with Samuel, but it was still there. I noticed Suri was in my lap where his hand had been resting, 'how the hell did she get here?'

"You need to add a dollar." I said, we had started a swear jar seeing as both of us had gotten into the habit of swearing like mechanics. 

"It's worth it when it comes to you." I smiled and slapped his chest playfully. So far we had no idea what we were going to do with the money once the jar was full, but we were constantly picking each others brains. 

"Welcome to Broken Loch." Flint said as we pulled up to a large stone mansion that kinda looked like a castle. 

"Holy....fudge." I said, not wanting to add a dollar. "It's huge." I said as we stepped out of the SUV. 

"If I had pound." A voice said, I looked over at a guy with dark hair and green eyes who was smiling at me. 

"Thomas, Maya, this is Raider, his father is my beta and his brother is my son Carter's beta."

"Hello." Thomas said taking his hand. 

"Hi." I said waving and taking Thomas's hand. 

"Welcome to Broken Loch." Raider said. "You're gorgeous, how old are ye?" 

"I'm 16." I said squeezing Thomas's hand. 

"I see ye' tense'n up, don't worry chum I like my woman like I like my coffee, I don't like coffee."

"Well this one's mine." I said gripping Thomas and fake scowling at Raider who laughed. 

"He's nae my type, I like my men with red hair and full beards." Raider said winking.

"Whew, I have no worries about the woman taking my man, but a looker like you. I got worried." I said wiping imaginary sweat from my brow. Thomas laughed with Raider, and Flint who joined us. 

"Dinna I hear your only 16, how do ye' know he's yours?" A large wolf asked walking to our car. 

"Because Maya is the one of the only people in this world my wolf Deimos can stand." Thomas said. 

"Is yer wolf really named Deimos?" The large wolf asked. He had dark curly hair and blue eyes with porcelain skin. 

"Yeah why?"

"Because your half brother Carter's wolf is named Phobos." Flint said. Just then two teens ran out of the house and ran into the tall guy with curly hair. One of them was blonde with hazel eyes the other had dark curly hair and green eyes. 

"Hey dad." The one with dark curly hair said. 

"Finian, young Alpha Carter." The man said bowing at Carter. 

"Greetin's Brennan." Carter said. "Dad, your home." He 'bro hugged' Flint before looking at Thomas and I.

"Carter, this is your half brother Thomas and his mate Maya." Flint said introducing us. 

"Welcome to Broken Loch brother." Carter said hugging Thomas. He beamed before returning the hug, taking his hand from mine. I was pulled into a hug from Carter as soon as he let go of Thomas, I returned the embrace before pulling away and going back to Thomas's side and putting my right arm around his waist. His arm went around my shoulders and I sighed contently as I leaned into him. 

"So how do ye' like it here so far?" Carter asked. 

"I've always wanted to see Scotland." I said excitedly. "It's even more gorgeous than I imagined." 

"Glad to hear it." He said smiling. 

"How about instead of standing around we show you to yer room." Flint said. I nodded and grabbed my bag from the back seat along with Suri who managed to leave the boxes in the back and end up with us. Thomas along with the rest of the guys grabbed our boxes and carried them up to a large room that had a large bed in the middle of the room. I grinned and put Suri and my bag on the bed, the guys set the boxes down and left the room, all except Raider and Flint. 

"Raider, you are helping me in the closet."

"But I just came out of there a few weeks ago, why are ye' makin' me go back in." He whined. I laughed loudly and grabbed my box of clothes and pointed to Thomas's and raised an eyebrow at him. He sighed and grabbed the box and followed me into the small walk in closet. 

..........2 weeks later............

I sipped on my cup of earl grey tea while speaking to Luna Meredith about the pack barbecue she was hosting, together we came up with the foods and drinks that would be provided. Thomas along with Flint and Carter were at a meeting with a neighboring Alpha named Quinton about our part in the pack games he was hosting this year. When Meredith and I were done I went to mine and Thomas's room and sat at our desk and did the coursework I needed to do for the next week and a half. I technically graduated with Thomas so I was doing college business courses along with english and three foreign languages. Spanish,  Italian and Mandarin. When I was done with that I put on my training gear, a black sports bra and red basketball shorts. I put my hair in a pony tail and went to the field where wolves were beginning to gather, I found Raider and took his arm in mine. 

"Hello Ray." I said smiling at him. He was a 6 ft tall, only a few inches over me.

"Maya, yer looking lovely this evening. Are ye' ready for wolf sparring?" He said returning my smile. So far no one here other than Thomas and I have seen Nyx or Deimos, we have been too busy to let our wolves run. "Don't worry, Taranis said he'll go easy on ye'" 

"Nyx wont make the same promise." I said confidently. 

"All wolves, shift!" Haemish yelled. I ran behind a tree and stripped before padding out into the clearing and finding Raider by his scent. His wolf was a cute copper wolf with a black nose, and creamy underbelly. He was smaller than Nyx, his brown eyes looked up at us in shock before bowing his head. "Spar." Came the order. 

Raider and I circled one another, he lounged first which I evaded, I then grabbed the scruff of his neck and pinned him to the ground. He submitted and I let go, I nuzzled him until a low growl sounded from behind us. There stood Thomas, he looked tired and a little hurt, I padded over to him and pushed my head into his chest. I licked his face and motioned for him to come run with me, he smiled and nodded. I yipped and led him to the tree where my clothes were, he stripped out of his dark jeans and grey t-shirt along with his black blazer. His boxers were off next, then his large brown wolf stood before me, I let Nyx out and Thomas let Deimos go, they ran around the territory for the first time since arriving. 

By the time they were ready to stop it was way past dark, I came to the surface in front of my clothes. I shifted and threw my clothes on and waited for Deimos who stopped to pee on a tree, he joined me and shifted, I turned away while Thomas pulled on his boxers. 

"All good Sweet pea." He said. I turned as he began putting on his pants. 

"How did the meeting go?" I asked. 

"It was alright, I had a hard time concentrating though." He admitted. "Somewhere in the pack a wolf was in heat, Deimos was going insane, I've never experienced him like that."

(He is an Alpha with lycan blood, his s****l drive is probably unmatched.) Nyx said. 

'What does that mean for us?'

(We should think of satisfying his s****l appetite.)

'There is still a chance everyone could be wrong and we aren't mates Nyx' I said sadly.

(I never said we had to have real intercourse, perhaps oral s*x would satisfy his drive until we turn 18.)

'Not that I can lie to you, but I have wanted to go further than kissing anyway' I said biting my cheek. 

(I know you have Maya.)

'I think we should probably satisfy him tonight, don't you?'

(Yesss) She purred. 

"Maya?" Thomas asked hesitantly. "I'm sorry baby." He looked so guilty. 

"Come with me Tommy." I said taking his hand. I led him up to our room and pushed him onto the bed, I layed down on top of his chest and looked down at his face. "I was talking to Nyx out there, she told me your s*x drive is larger because of your bloodline." He nodded before sighing.

"I don't want anyone but you Maya I promise." Thomas looked so guilty I wanted to scream at him to stop it. 

"I know that Tommy, which is why Nyx and I have come up with an idea." I said kissing his nose. He looked confused so I smiled at him lightly. "I know we are waiting until I'm 18 to have s*x, not a problem, but I also see how guilty you feel for something that you cant control. If you say yes, I will help you with your s*x drive Tommy." His eyes went wide as he processed what I was saying.
