Beta Jason tenses, flexing his muscles in his jaw and glares at Elder Darren. “Who the f**k are you? How dare you! You have no right!” Jason screams out, unleashing his Beta authority that sputters out before it can even impact those around him. My eyes went wide, I knew the council could strip titles, but I have never seen power stripping before. Chills run all over my body and I can’t help shuddering and noticing everyone else is affected in their own ways as well at the show of the council’s power.
“You stupid boy. I am Elder Darren Warren of the werewolf council. How dare you challenge not one but two Alpha’s in a matter of minutes!” He snarls out, Beta Jason drops to his knees and my blood stills. Holy s**t, Elder Darren is terrifying.
