Ben’s POV
A satisfying crunch sounded under me, and I sighed out, she was safe. I looked for her and saw her moving towards the wall, “Mate,” I said, and pushed her hard into the wall in my arms. I shifted with the small window of control I had and kissed her so passionately my body exploded from want of the Angel I had in my arms once more. I felt that tether trying to take hold again, but the faint voice of Fenris sounded in my head, ‘Her blood, drink it.’
