I shook my head back and forth in disbelief, “Ben…” My voice broke and before he even cleared the doorway, three massive Beta wolves jumped in front of me, growling viciously.
Carlin shifted quickly and I kept my eyes on my mate as the rage flashed across his features, he was snarling at Ryan, “How dare you defend him!” Benjamin roared at him, and he held his hands up to Ben. “I am not defending your father, man. I am protecting your mate and my Alpha.” He said slowly, carefully.
