We've been scooting outside the Bear Kingdom of Mixfits for two days now, trying to find a way around the many different creatures guarding the Kingdom. I've never seen so many different creatures, fairies, dragons, and giants. If Edrea wasn't my Mate and heir to the throne, I'll say leave her because she's found her home of unique creatures. As she was one herself.
The King is still unsure about everything, he can't believe we found the right girl. He is requesting a DNA test immediately and I'm not sure how Edrea feels about all of this. Her being stolen as a baby, Her parents that raised her aren't her real parents. She's not just going to be Luna of my pack but the Queen of the Mixfits. And to top it off, her real parents are the King and Queen of the Peri Kingdom and she is the heir to the throne. I am overwhelmed by it all and it's not even my life. I know one thing is that I will stand by her side through it all. My dear mate has so much at her feet. How will she choose or will she ever?
"You still haven't answered my question properly" The King said, taking me out of my thoughts.
"And what question is that?" I pinched my nose, already knowing what he meant but the question is getting quite irritating. My sister was spotted leaving the Bear Kingdom and to be honest. I was steaming with anger. I made a few warriors follow her back and keep an eye on her every movement but no matter what she does unless it was harming another. They were not to get involved, just watch.
"You know what I'm talking about.. Your sister. What was she doing sneaking out of this Kingdom of Mixfits?"
I turned to him "I have no clue. She went missing a couple of days beforehand and we put out a search party for her. She was never found or seen until a couple of days ago." I scuffed, focusing my view back on the stake out.
"Fair enough, your statement seems clear and the same" He stood up and walked away. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"So what's the plan?" The Queen walked up to me.
"I need to talk directly to King Barot" I replied
"Why? He's kidnapped Edrea and you want to talk? What kind of nonsense are you on?" She sighed and rubbed her hands through her hair.
"Well, we can't attack because we don't know what half these creatures can do and I'm not going to risk my men to creatures that can possibly rip their heads off or put them in a trace with a swipe of the finger." I tried to reason with her, knowing she's been ready to strike.
"Very well" She breathed in and out heavily "We will do it your way and if it doesn't work. We will do it our way.." She stood up to walk away
"Our?" I asked before she stepped completely away
"The King and I" She turned to me
"I thought he didn't believe she was his?" I scuffed
"He doesn't but he she's how determined I am and will give it a chance." She smiled at her husband love for her and I couldn't help but crack a small smile and nod. She nodded and walked away.
"I see your the smart one" I jumped at the sudden appearance of a fairy. She was so tiny and adorable I just wanted to take her home with me. Her cuteness almost made me "awwwwww" her like a baby.
"You know eavesdropping isn't nice" She shrugged
"Orders" She simply said and sat on my shoulder
"And what are your orders on why you have appeared to me" I asked
"Edrea asked to find you and watch you because she knows that you smart and wouldn't just attack without implanting others ways to handle the situation." She smiled "And now that I've witness that truth behind those words to be right. The King requests a meeting with you."
"Just me?" I pointed at myself, thankful Edrea knows me better than I thought she had.
"Yes" she frowned "The other two wanted war but this Kingdom has been in peace for quite sometime now. and other than the Kings curse, there hasn't been any problems for centuries."
"Centuries? that's a long reign of peace and harmony." I said with much surprise at her words
"It is and we would like to keep it that way" I nodded and she lifted up off my shoulders
"Are you ready?" She said and I looked around me and everyone seemed to be either staking out or chatting amongst each other.
"Wait, let me leave a note" I took a paper and pencil out of my travel bag and wrote a simple note saying ' Went to talk with the King, 2 hours tops ' and with that I turned to the fairy. She eased up to me and touched my nose and I sneezed *What.." but when I looked up again I was in a throne room.
"I see you accepted my invitation" King Barot spoke.
