6 days after the kidnapping

It's been almost a week since she has been gone. I had to go see the Bear King about our arrangements. I didn't know if he knew of me wanting to kill her instead but I took my chances. And even though she's there I still didn't want her to be happy and so I made sure to cause chaos before I left but her presence still lingers in these halls. Why her? Why does she have to be the Phoenix Wolf. I pouted silently, yanking my hair in a bun. "I hate her" I yelled out. I was too frustrated and angry to worry about the pain I was causing myself.

Everyone has left other than a few warriors to protect the pack members if something happens. I tried to get inside Augustus office but he locked it, not even leaving the spare key. He must've felt something was off and I need to know if I'm on that list of hits. When I was in the Mixfits Kingdom I was able to avoid her since apparently she is angry with the King. She ate in her room and did everything in her power to stay at opposite ends of the mansion to avoid him. It was quite hilarious given the fact she was all over my brother.

I started to play back at the meeting I had with King Barot.....

"I told her that Ron kidnapped her" King Barot said to me

"And why would you do that? Now if she gets to him he will tell her that I was behind it and that will blow my cover." I growled frustrated that he didn't choose another.

"Then take care of the situation. My cover is already blown, so at the moment I don't really give a s**t." I looked at him like he lost his mind.

"Are you serious? Don't forget you are a part of the first attempt to kidnap her." He swallowed and I knew I had him "You are just as involved in this as I am. So you have no choice but to help me." I said smirking and leaning back in the chair across from his desk.

"Actually I don't. You attempted to make a plan to kidnap her without my knowledge to do who knows what.. and" I cut him off

"To kill her, to get rid of the little pest once and for all." I smiled wickedly.

"You b***h" He growled and stood up "You dare try to kill a chosen one, how dumb are you?

I shrugged my shoulders not caring about his little outburst. He knows nothing about being chosen, he knows nothing about carrying a gift as heavy as the ones given to those to save the world.

He laughed and something twisted in my guts but I shook it off. "know that you will reap what you sow" He pointed at me angrily, looking as if he was ready to come across his throne room and snap my neck.

"Blah, Blah, Blah" I countered him laughing. "You act as if she is this all out divine person but she's not and I will prove it to you all." I growled while getting up, letting my truth hang out in the open. "And when I show you who she really is and that the moon goddess chose wrong when she gave those abilities to her. You will all finally see the truth." and with that I walked out, ready to go home.

I could hear the King laughing at my last statement as if I'm a fool but I am no fool and he will see.

It's been about 4 days since I talked to Barot. I've been occupied in the libraries and also training with the pack warriors. Everyone is so nice, I even made a few friends with some high school kids and their older sister one day when I noticed they were getting picked on by some other high schoolers.

The two twin teens are Matty and Matthew. They have dirty blond straight hair, fair skin with hazel eyes, they are tough but kind. I love their clashing personalities that seem to fit nicely together. Jamie their older sister looks just like them. Just older.

I noticed Jamie first. She had just pulled up in a 1977 ford mustang that I adored. I noticed her concerned face as she got out. I followed her eyes to the high school kids and immediately became angry. Its four against two and even though they fought back, they were outnumbered.

"Hey" I yelled in their direction and everyone froze. "Leave them alone"

"Mind your business" One of the bullies said

"I just made this my business, now get on and leave these two alone" I growled and the lead bully, I'm assuming, turns to me.

"Then maybe I should make you my business as well" He stocked up towards me and I sized him up. He was about 6 feet tall, a little bulky with a temper that screamed baware of danger, could be explosive but I've been training even more now and he's about to find out why I'm at the top of my class.

When he got to me he attempted to grab me by the throat but I quickly moved away. Catching his arm as I used it to jump up, wrapping my legs around his head. He struggled against me but I used my body weight to shift him making him lose balance. Right before he hit the ground I pushed off of him and rolled away.

he growled "Now you're going to get it b***h" He shifted into a large light brown bear with a gray patch on his belly as he ran towards me. Before I knew it, he was in mid air ready to kill me with one single blow.

I shifted slightly to the right causing his claw to barely miss me, everyone awed with amazement at my quick reflexes. But he was even more angrier now and he attacked again. This time he came full speed, I was impressed but still bored.

When he reached me I let him graze me a little just to see how big headed this punk really was before I knocked him on his ass. I fell to my knees as his claw grazed my exposed chest. Snapping the string to my tank top. I looked down to see I was already healing.

"You see, she's not all owws and ahhs now huh? she's no better than the rest of you and especially not me." I looked up at him and saw that he shifted back and was fully naked. I rolled my eyes at the boldness, so this is an ego thing.

I looked around to see a crowd had gathered and the twins were now watching and worried alongside their sister. Everyone seems to be afraid of him but I find nothing frightening about him. He's just a big fat bully.

"Huh, I'm bored" Gaining his attention again before he continues down this little show he wants to put on.

"You will dread the moment you picked a fight with me" He shifted back into his bear but this time I wasn't going to give him a chance.

I ran towards him at full speed and right when we were about to collide I slid under him and kicked him in the stomach causing him to fly 20 feet into the air and hit the ground with a thud. I then grabbed his leg and threw him into the brick school building. Allowing him to recover some. He rushed towards me again but I jumped and kicked him in the head. I landed with Grace and demanded that he shifts back into his human form.

He immediately shifts without question at my authority. My aura covered the whole area and before I knew it everyone was bowing down to me. Even the lead bully was trembling under me as he pleaded for forgiveness. I released my hold on them, allowing them to rise again.

"Who are you?" He said through blooded eyes as he held his body

"Nevermind who I am, you just leave people alone and do right by them and we won't have any more problems." I crouched down to his level, looking him in the eyes. He shrunk down further and shook his head up and down violently.

"Yes, goddess. As you say." I stood up pleased as he stubbled to get up. His three friends rush to him and help him. Silence still fell amongst everyone as I faced the crowd. So I took it as an opportunity to clear the air. I stepped forward to address the crowd that looked at me with mixed faces.

"I am Edrea, Mate of the King" They were silent for a while but then... Everyone erupted into cheers and bows
