One Thing After Another

I knew she wouldn't rest until whoever kidnapped her paid for what they've tried to do but I knew my Flower didn't have the heart to kill anyone. She was too kind and gentle. She even waited to address the fact she was kidnapped but that could've been because she was caught off guard by the Mate bond.

She stood there with her arms folded, waiting on me to tell her everything but I didn't want to blow my cover about the contract and so I thought of a way to leave me out of it. Which meant I had to leave the Alpha and Flora out of the mix as well.

I took a deep breath "I saved you from a guy who kidnapped you out of your room" I stopped to see her reaction and she seemed to be pondering on who would want to take her. "He took you to an abandoned pack. When I spotted him I saw you laying on a bench, he seemed occupied by something and so when I had the chance I took you." I shrugged at the last part.

She c****d her head to the side in confusion, like she was trying to read between the lines. She looked at me with those beautiful eyes and I can tell she wasn't satisfied with what I told her. As if she knew there was more to the story than I was letting off. My heart was beating out my chest with every passing second we sit in silence. I couldn't take it anymore but then she finally spoke.

"So who's the kidnapper?" She asked

"Ron" I simply said. Her mouth dropped open and I can tell her mind was racing. She grabbed her chest trying to grasp the breaths that's now feeling heavy and unnatural to her. "Slow breaths, focus on it entering and exiting your body." I grabbed both her arms and started breathing with her until she became calm again.

"He's... He's my ex boyfriend" I growled at her words "But Ron is too stupid to plan something like kidnapping someone. I don't believe that he is in it alone." She jumped up and paced the room.

"I think you should give your ex a little more credit. He did it all on his own.." I lied trying to get her to believe me so she'll let it go.

"Phhh, Ha" She laughed "You must be joking" She laughed even louder this time.

The sound of her laugh and the beauty of her smile would have made me laugh too but I was too busy focusing on why she thought it was funny that I claimed Ron to be the master mind of it all.. Is he that stupid?

I busted out laughing as he claimed Ron had planned kidnapping me all by himself. If he knew the Ron I knew, he wouldn't be saying such things.

"Are you sure it was just him?" I questioned

"Yes my love and I will make sure he pays for his crime." Barot assured me but I wasn't buying it. I knew there was more to it and I'm going to find out the truth. But for now.. I will act like I believe him.

"Ok, I believe you. I believe Ron has something to do with it." He sighs in relief, not catching how I worded things. He seems too relieved to me but I shake off the thought instantly.

"I will make him pay " He says as he gently grabs my chin, rubbing my cheek with his thumb. I relax under his touch as sparks fly across my face. He leans in to kiss me and I let him. It starts out gently and then it becomes intense as if this is the last time he'll see me. I didn't mind as I matched his eagerness.

"Why are you so much to deal with already?" I said as I broke away

"Because my curse follows me everywhere. I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to just leave and never accept the mate bond" He mumbles

I touch his face "Hey, don't say that. Everyone has problems, some more than others" I clear my throat and he chuckles "but we all have them and the more people by our side to encourage us to be better is great but know that real growth starts with self."

"Such wisdom you carry for a new born wolf" He smirks at me

"I am no new born" My wolf surfaces and my hands instantly shoot up to my mouth.

He bust out laughing and I smack his arm.

"What was that? Was that your wolf?" He continues to laugh

"Yes, and she would like it if you stopped laughing" I said with a straight face but was very confused on the inside. She's been quiet ever since we left the carnival. I haven't had a chance to chat with her about everything but she seems rather bothered by the whole situation.

He stopped laughing and cleared his throat. "Did I do something wrong?"

"Yes" She surfaced again and this time took completely over my body. My mates eyes became large. "You couldn't keep it in your PANTS??!!" She roared, he was shocked at first but then his face hardened

"I lived a thousand years past my death date. Are you seriously asking me that question?" He tried to reason.

"So you found it fitting to f**k the whole town?" She turned our back to him so he wouldn't see the tears in our eyes. Honestly I didn't blame her, these are feelings I pushed down. She is boldly saying what I couldn't.

"Edrea?" He started

"Edrea is away right now, My name is Aubrei. I am her wolf ." He turned us around with force looking him in his eyes.

"Aubrei, I love your name." He said gently and I could feel her blush. I rolled my eyes realizing she's just as much of a softy towards the mate bond as I am... maybe even more.

"Thank you." She said unable to hide her attraction towards him. He smiled knowing he had her in his trap. He caresses our arm and even though I am viewing this 3rd party. I can still feel the tingles rushing up my arm. He then hugs us.

"You know, when I saw you two years ago, I didn't touch anyone after that. I couldn't...." I shivered as his breath tickled my ear as he whispered those words in my ear.

"Why?" Was all my wolf could muffle out and I didn't blame her. This mate bond had me melting under his touch. I wonder if he feels the same sparks as I do.

"Because I couldn't get you off my mind. For two years I waited for the day I had your legs wrapped around me as I licked the juices from between your pearl." He says as he kisses the part of my neck where he marks us. He grabbed my waist and I was thankful because my knees were about to give out from under me. My wolf gave me back control right as she wrapped our arms around him.

"I got you" He chuckles as he sits me on the couch. I regained my senses and thought back on what he said.

"You said 2 years ago?" He nodded and smiled but I frowned and suddenly seemed confused.

"You wouldn't happen to be the contract the Alpha said I was to go with?" He mouth opened and closed like a fish

"Babe..I" He studders

"Why is it so hard for you to tell me the whole truth. Why do you hold all these secrets." I asked as tears formed in my eyes.

"I don't know why.."

"Save it" I instantly became angry again. I put a hand up and with one last look at him, as tears fell from my eyes. Wondering why he had to go through so many hoops to get me. I got up from the couch and walked towards the door.

"Edrea!" He says with worry in his tone.

"I want to go home" Was all I said before I walked out. Shutting the door behind me
